Excellent hotel - will come back again”
This is an excellent hotel. Far exceed my expectations. Prior to going, i was abit worried about the location because of its proximity to Omania. My concern is unfound. Its one min walk to metro station and there is a sightseeing bus stop 16 euros for 2 days. We dont even need to walk past omania. The hotel is very very clean, staffs are very very helpful. Just opposite the hotel 30 second walk there is a Greek restaurant called tavernia.. we ordered takeaway grilled chicken with fries and fried eggplant. Again wow by it. :) I will definately stay in athens lotus hotel when im back in athens next time. Thank you guys and keep up with the excellent services.

If you need a simple and comfortable hotel”
I couldn't say anything bad about the hotel. Central and easy to find. They have very cleand and comfy rooms - it is a great base to explore Athens. The receptionists are informative. We asked for a room with balcony what we didn't get - but our room was just pefect, so we didn't complain. We haven't tried the breakfast, however it seemed tempting. I do recommend the Athens Lotus Hotel for everyone.

Extremely good value for money at a 4* hotel ”
This hotel is 1min from Metaxourgio station which is 1 stop away from Larissa station (where regional trains arrive/depart) and close to regional bus depots, making it a good base for daytrips out of Athens. Otherwise, it is 3 stops from Syntagma (parliament house where changing of the guard is, high end shopping and the main shopping street) and 4 from Acropoli (Acropolis and Plaka area for nice restaurants and nice small shops). These two stations, along with Monastiraki (Agora, Roman Forum, downtown shopping with markets, 1 stop from Syntagma on another line), are the areas that you want to stay in for convenience. But if you want to save money on accommodation and still live in comfort, then this hotel is a great choice - the metro is only €1.40 (half price for students) and is quick and easy to use. Room is a little small with not a lot of table space, but it was in good condition and bathroom was a proper shower (which I like) instead of shower over bathtub. Buffet breakfast is pretty good, and the tavern opposite does amazing amazing souvlaki for cheap (even compared to other Greek restaurants). The price I paid for room + breakfast here was less than other basic 3* hotels in regional Greece with smaller rooms and much lower standard breakfast.

Newly renovated hotel, good location”
the hotel is newly renovated with bold colours. the receptionist are very friendly and speaks good english. the hotel is about 5 storeys high and has a small lift which is adequate for big luggage. the rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom. remember not to drop toilet tissues in the toilet bowl as this is a requirement in most greek hotels. you have to put them in the bin provided (takes some getting use to !!). breakfast is great with a variety of choice including hot and cold dishes. must try the greek yoghurt and cheeses. the hotel is very close to the metro metaxourgio. once pass the turnstile, take left up the escalator. once above ground, take the right fork down chiou road. the hotel is just one block away at the junction. the area is not the best looking but everything become ok once you get into the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel, Friendly Staff, Decent Location”
Picked up at the airport by a friendly driver, he was helpful and informative. Arriving at the hotel, staff are friendly and more than happy to point you in the right direction. My first time in Athens and I would certainly stay here again. A lovely hotel in a central location close to a metro station linking you to the entirety of the city. There's a lot of places to eat a short way from the hotel but the Restaurant in the hotel offers a great range of food to satisfy all tastes. This hotel is a good choice for those looking for a cheaper option than hotels slightly more central, the metro station nearby is perfect for getting round. A perfect option in my eyes

Nice hotel near Acropolis ”
We were happy with our stay at the Lotus Hotel. The room was clean and a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was really good with the Metro station within a block and also near a stop for the City Tour bus. Overall all was good except the area seems to be improving but sometimes you see some shady individuals around.

Very nice very convenient hotel”
one minute walk from metro station. lots of long distance bus station, with travel agents selling ferry tickets too. can walk to archaeological museum, 10 mins walk. acropolis 3 stops on the metro same line, very easy. some coffe shops around, also a nice restaurant across the road from the hotel open at night. very satisfying stay, if come back to athens , definitely come back to stay here.

Comfort and convenience in Athens”
Though this hotel is away from the main tourist areas it is close to a Metro station so getting around is easy. I took the Metro from the airport and just changed once to get to the hotel. Even with luggage it was straightforward. Though the area around the hotel is rather run-down it is undergoing renewal so can only get better. I would certainly consider using this hotel again on my next visit to Athens.

Not 4 star but still good value”
Having stayed at some truly terrible places in Greece I was happy to stay at this hotel - it is excellent value and close to the Metro so getting around is easy. The room and bathroom were on the small side, but still perfectly adequate. A bonus was the small balcony. Unlike other places I have stayed in Athens, this hotel was in a quiet location, yet just metres from a main road. There is not much of interest around the hotel itself, but the Metro makes getting around Athens a breeze.

Great place but not a great neighborhood!”
Our stay was good. We had a bit of trouble finding it to begin with and the neighborhood was probably not the greatest but when we got there in the end it was a very nice hotel indeed. Probably less than a 5 minute walk from Metaxourgio train station. Short walk from the centre of town.

Comfortable, clean & easy”
We had a fabulous time in Athens! The hotel was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. Very handy to metro, restaurants, even near the hop on hop off bus stop. We caught taxi from airport (€38) but metro back to airport (€20 for 3 people)

Great Interior”
My sister & I stayed here our last nights in Athens. It was a bit difficult to find, as we had stayed near Syntagma Square previously. The area is not spectacular - it is clearly not frequented by tourists. But the hotel is half a block from a metro station, and the interior is lovely. Our room looked over the street, with a small balcony. It was the perfect way to end our holiday, and the staff were endlessly accommodating.

Big and clean place”
This place can accommodate 6 people and really value for money. It is also located just 100 meters from the metro and make it very convenient to move around the city. The Athens train station was just within walking distance too.

Lovely hotel, great staff”
Brilliant. We really enjoyed this hotel. I would reccomend it to anyone. Very friendly, family orientated, perfest position in easy reach of the metro but quiet at night. Good restaurant near by. Only small criticism, room was lovely but a little small. Also no tea or coffee in the room. Adding this would make it perfect. Will definitely use thia hotel again.

Not 4 stars hotel ”
Athen lotus hotel is not complete with 4 stars hotel facilities. I try to request a kettle but extra charge. I am not statify with their hotel policy told kettle is optional item in room, then we might not make a hot drink in room. Room given are not show as per photo. It is smaller than what we get. This issue was email to Agoda customer service, but doesn't help out.

Beautiful room in quaint hotel”
While I was not fond of the location of this hotel (surrounding areas seemed very sketchy), the hotel itself was a very pleasant surprise and excellent value for the money. We were greeted by a very kind receptionist and then lead up to a beautiful, corner room with 4star decor and bathroom features. Room service was great as well. We felt very safe inside the hotel..there was 24hr security...and the location to the metro was unbeatable. All in all pleased with our stay.

Great 4 star hotel in walking distance to historical centre”
The hotel is great. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with plenty of choice. It is a very short walk to Metaxourghio metro and the tourist bus stop. A very short walk away is a really nice traditional Greek cafe that does really wonderful kebabs and gyros. It's called Tasty Corner and we spent a lot of time there! Only minor niggle was the TV in the hotel room is tiny given its 4 star rating.
