Great bang for your buck! ”
Great location, great value, and friendly staff! The buffet breakfast that came with our stay was delicious and full of options. The prices for room service were cheaper than I’ve ever seen. The room was spacious and stocked with full sized toiletries in the bathroom. When I go back to Athens, I’m definitely staying here again!

Frequent Athens visitor”
I’ve stayed in a number of the hotels in the area. This hotel offers all the basic amenities you need. The staff is helpful. The rooms are all well appointed. The bedding is a good quality and the shower has excellent pressure. The breakfast is also very decent. What I like most is it’s a family run business and not a big corporation. I always support the little guy.

Central location ”
I thought the hotel was well priced for room and location. I was only at the hotel for a quick overnight and left very early the next morning. 24 hr front desk was important. We were able to pick up a quick dinner at the on-site restaurant. Taxis are not able to pull up to front door which is a touch inconvenient. Buses run right by but I didn’t use so don’t know where they go. Plenty of shopping and eateries close by.

Room is big, clean and comfy. I dont know about the location, as we just drive in the trip, did not take any public transport. Carpark is not too far from the hotel, you can just pay it in the hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Not the best”
1. Location- close to main attractions. During our stay there were daily works happening from dawn in the square. Together with heavy traffic it's a very bad combination if you want to have a good night sleep. Check before booking if above is still happening. 2. Hotel- very friendly staff, clean rooms. Our bathroom had a faulty door so water was gushing out on the floor each time we showered. Rooms are much smaller than you see on photos so don't be fooled. TV has a one English speaking channel which doesn't stream till late evening, not a massive deal but worth mentioning. Also curtains are not blackouts so if , like my husband, you need a dark room to sleep you shouldn't choose this hotel. 3. Food- not what we were used to from Greek hotels but provided basics. Hot food was never hot but there was an option to order fresh cooked eggs or omelette, which saved the day. On that basis, to avoid further disappointment, we decided to eat out rather than using hotel restaurant

This is my story ”
A lot of bad people stay at this hotel, as soon as I came to hotel a guy asked me if my name was XXX, I looked at him he looked like someone who is waiting for drugs to arrive to this hotel, and the reception was not doing anything about. Also the Japanese girl behind the desk was telling me to wait until the room is ready, I has to wait like 1 hour, because that she game me room at the seven floor, I was happy then I see there is actually no balcony here, only tiny window. Anyway family or couple don’t come to this hotel.

Great hotel in a good location!”
My husband and I had a wonderful 1 night stay at Athens Tiare Hotel before departing Greece to return home! The room was very clean, beds where comfortable, and the hotel has a great location in downtown with lots of close by shops and restaurants. The only downfall of this property was the quality of the food from room service and the morning breakfast. We ordered the chicken pasta via room service and it was very salty and tasted like old leftovers; the cherry cheesecake did not have a good flavor or presentation. The breakfast the next morning had scrambled eggs that had a fishy smell and flavor. Great room and hotel, but the food/beverage options need some work. My only other point of feedback for management to consider would be the slowness of the elevators and the cleanliness of the hallways (carpet stained in some areas and walls needed touch up paint).

Great location and very friendly staffs”
Attentive, friendly waiters and waitresses in the restaurant, conveniently located at Omonia Sq, 1min walk to metro station and getting to hop-on-hop-off sightseeing buses. Wish there is more English channel on TV but other than that, my 6 day stay in Athens Tiare Hotel had been perfect.

Amazing staff in a well equipped hotel”
Staff of Tiare Hotel were exceptionally professional and friendly. The Hotel is well equipped and clean and I don’t have anything negative to add to my stay. Hopefully in a couple of years the area will be further developed, which will encourage more tourists to stay in Athens’s centre.

Top Value”
The hotel location is at the Center of Athens with walking distance of most attractions, and exactly next to metro station. The surrounding area of Omonoia square is a minus for the hotel but nothing to intimidate you or feel treaten by foreign migrants etc. The hotel inside style is suberb. Comfort rooms are the most quiet and well worth it value for money. I'll stay again.

Good location, clean and modern hotel room”
The room was small but very clean and modern-looking. The bed was very comfortable. The location is right outside Omonia metro station - very convenient especially when you return late to the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly as well.

A low-frill hotel in Athens”
This hotel is located in central area of Athens. The staff is helpful and friendly. We arrived already, and they were able to store our luggage while we went out to explore the city. Our stay came with breakfast and we informed the reception staff that we could not get the breakfast tomorrow as we are leaving early in the morning before their breakfast service started. The staff was kind enough to make arrangements for us to have breakfast on the day we arrived. We are thankful for his initiative and thoughtfulness. The breakfast spread was good. The fruits available for breakfast were fresh and sweet. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the metro, which makes it very convenient to explore the city. It took us about 15-20 minutes to get to the port from the hotel by taxi, early in the morning. The room was rather small, and we found the floor not clean enough. Our feet was dirty when we walked around the room. Another thing to mention was that our room was on the second floor from the main building, and we felt a little unsafe. There was a group of young men loitering around the area at night. Even though nothing happened during our stay, I did not have a peaceful sleep as I will get startled by noises throughout the night. Overall, it is a decent place if you are looking for a hotel that is nearby to the tourist attractions. But do not expect much from it.

great Hotel”
Staff at this hotel really goes out of their way to make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible. However they cannot do much for the constant criminal activity just out side their doors. The hotel is on a plaza which is fantasticas there are shops, restaurants, bakeries... but while eating breakfast daily, we notice constant drug deal happening just outside the hotel. I suggest the hotel owner get in contact with the local authorities to remedy this as we felt quite unsafe just outside the hotel.

Clean and spacious”
we love everything about this hotel. its clean and big for a basic comfort room. breakfast buffet is good. nothing negative except the toilet bowl is abit uncomfortable to seat on especially when you seat on for a long time. nevertheless its an excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff and good location as it is near all the shopping mall and streets.
