    “Customer or Quality Control?”

    Unless you enjoy sleeping in a room that smells like a port-a-potty with an air conditioner, don’t stay here! I understand why the bathroom was completely hosed down with water right before we arrived to mask the smell. I don’t leave reviews for any hotels but since a new air conditioner was installed it’s certain they plan to continue to rent this ocean front ground floor room. I couldn’t bring myself to take pictures in remembrance of this place. I want the image and smell erased from my memory. Perhaps the cheaper rooms at this place are nice. Thank goodness it was less than a 24 hour stay and I had sleeping medicine to put me out of this misery. It was the only room available in this town during high season. Interesting that our original accommodations canceled us 2 hours prior to check in time and how it turns out these owners are related , even better both places next to each other. Hence run from the apartment next door too. I won’t mention their name. August 2025 review, so it is a very recent stay in case my review gets buried. Why is the customer now becoming these hotel booking sites quality control? Kefalonia is beautiful and fortunately I had been there before, otherwise this hotel and the one next door would have tarnished my image of the island. Please don’t take a chance, it’s your vacation and I don’t want to say “I told you so”.

    “Amazing View, Better Host.”

    This is not the newest or fanciest hotel, but I loved every minute here. The view of the ocean and the quite garden were nice perks. What truly made our experience wonderful was the host who helped us immensely. Wonderful. Would stay here again
