Running low on options”
We had a change of plans and had to make a stopover in an unfamiliar area and found Banrai Jomthong was along our route so made a booking a couple of hours before our arrival. Unfortunately our host had not noticed our booking before our arrival, although she was reasonably welcoming. She had 3 dogs who did not appear impressed with after dark visitors though... She took us to a bungalow. There was free water and a kettle but no tea or coffee and no soap etc in the bathroom and a bad smell coming from the fridge. There is apparently a restaurant that serves dinner but she did not mention the availability of that. Lucky we had some left over bananas! The booking included breakfast for 2. We expected we may have to pay a little extra for breakfast for our two children aged 9 and 6 but instead she charged us for mine and my husbands breakfast? Only 100 baht for coffee and khao tom but there was no English breakfast tea available only a home made brew that was not very pleasant.

Not sure what the issue was with some previous guests were but..... Very friendly host that greeted us by name and checked us in quickly. Set amongst trees this is a little gem. 1km from a main highway there isn't much around but they have a tidy little restaurant. Breakfast was a great Thai style rice. Served up as early as 6:30. Great place to park our bicycles too. Room was spacious but bed a little hard. We'd come again. Thanks

hotel is very difficult to find bring a map, gps does not work. nice clea rooms, breakfast was not bad when is was incl. in the pris. very quit place. perfect place to miditate. i will go there in the furture again. but it was my most quit loy katong in my life, bur it was a nice stay. it toke 5 hours to get there and 1 hour to get home. lol

Nice atmosphere, stayed with my son and got a room at a good price. There are several types of accommodation inside and the owner is friendly and lovely.”
The hotel is about 8 km away from Seven Eleven and close to the viewpoint. If you plan to stay here, it is recommended to buy necessary items before checking in because there are only restaurants that close at 2:00 am inside. The atmosphere is very nice and the owner is kind. They made breakfast in the morning for us to eat. Overall, it's great and impressive.
