Underrated resort close to Koh Samet”
Had an amazing stay here. The room faces the pool and sea, also comes with your own front porch. Quiet, peaceful and a great escape from the crazy crowds of Koh Samet. The food at the restaurant at the resort was really good (fresh seafood!) and reasonably priced. The service was also top notch. I’m very surprised that Bari Lamai hasn’t gotten a 9-9.5 rating on Agoda. Very underrated. :)

My family enjoyed stay in Bali Lamai so much. We had a good time there. Nice bedding clean room and good service. Good breaky I cant find any negative point there. Will definitely come back again.

Surprisingly delightful ”
Went to the resort with wife and 2 boys (4 & 2) and were pleasantly surprised how comfortable the resort and location was. Staff was very friendly, the Thai food was delicious, location being beach front is a big plus. The pool is about 30 x 4 meters long with 3 various depths which was great for the kids. The atmosphere was quit and relaxing which is what we were looking for. The beach sand of brown and the water ‘greenish’ but the water is shallow at both high and low tides which is great for 2 young kids who love the water.

2nd times to stay here”
Love this hotel. This is the 2nd time to stay here. Pro Staffs have good minds service Location is private along the beach Love breakfast here Room and bed is big Pool is nice and relax there to enjoy seeing the sunset. Cons Room is a little bit runs down need to improve. Bed sheets and towels need to change. Colour made them look unclean. Need to clean the beach. A bit dirty.

Friendly staff and views are like a picture, all you see is the beach and ocean, really pretty. Restaurant is very good. Service is friendly, but slow. The seaview room had very steep steps, so wouldn't recommend that specifically to elders. Beach is more natural, which we liked.

Nice quiet hotel, Isolated from all the other places a long the beach. The rooms are big and the facilities are nice. The staff was very helpful as I needed to get around but had limited transportation. I would go back after COVID

No safety lines when go up stairs for kids - no taxi or tok tok available on hotel upon request- kitchen must stay more time until 11 pm ...it’s holiday

Not even fitness which we understand but hotel should improve this, Omelette need for regular basis. Ask for late check out and no mercy at all.

Unreasonable price comparing to the service and location ”
We were facing the rough situation that only us help each others while staffs were there. We couldn't connect to in-room wifi both on mobile and laptop. Bathroom accessories made me disappointed. The beach wasn't that nice, looks a bit dirty. Breakfast was good. There are seafood restaurants nearby.

Not worth money”
I don’t mind to stay there but the price they charge was ridiculous! The price is more than 5 stars hotels and resorts I’ve been stay in Thailand. The room was not as nice as show in photos and the quality of mattress, pillows and towels are not good and old. My room had ants on the bench and the fridge smells durian so bad. Staffs are not bad but not so good and friendly like they don’t love what they are doing. I’d not recommend anyone to come here and myself definitely won’t come back.
