Beijing hotels & accommodations

Firstly, I think it is a very good location for sightseeing in Beijing. Of course, I visited for business reasons. The most noticeable point is that there is the CCTV building just across the street, making it a great spot for taking commemorative photos, and being in the center of Beijing means that transportation is good no matter where you want to go. Also, I felt t...

There is a reason for the many good reviews. After actually using it, it was really better than expected. The price was good and the staff's response was excellent. The room was surprisingly spacious. The water during the shower was soft, and I found out that it said it was natural hot spring water. It was convenient to get to the hotel as it was right next to the subw...

The rooms at the Beijing Tianlun Dynasty Hotel are clean and comfortable, with a unique view of the Catholic Church. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, eager to assist. The bathroom has a rain shower with sufficient water pressure, providing a great shower experience. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the Jinyu Hutong subway station, close to Wan...

The front staff were very kind, and they guided us to a nice room, which made my daughter happy throughout our stay at the hotel. The water pressure in the bathroom was also good, making it nice to relax in the bathtub. The access to Wangfujing Street and the Forbidden City area was convenient. We were very satisfied. Thank you.

The hotel is located between the Dongzhimen and Beixinqiao subway stations, making it quite convenient for transportation. The room is spacious, and the environment is clean; there is also a bathtub for soaking. I have had a very comfortable stay for these three days. The hotel staff is also very friendly, assisting me with booking attraction tickets, hailing a taxi, a...

If you are attending an event at the China National Convention Center, this hotel is super convenient as the is an indoor walkway to the halls. There is a small mall opposite the hotel where there are many restaurants. The rooms are good and clean. Wifi is good, connecting to internet is intermittent. Convenient to get to and from airport is convenient by taxi

The front desk staff speaks English well, and the airport shuttle is very convenient. It's a bit far from downtown, but given the nature of Beijing, everything is far, so it wasn't bad. I could hear some noise from the neighboring room, but it wasn't bothersome, and I had earplugs, so I was comfortable. There was also a McDonald's nearby, which was convenient for break...

We had an excellent stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very well located. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were always professional and helpful. I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel team for their exceptional assistance after I accidentally left my passports behind at th...

We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hotel was well maintained throughout. Service was good, and housekeeping was prompt and efficient. The location was central, safe and clean, with plenty of good food nearby — including beef noodles and yoghurt just a 5-minute walk away. Wangfujing was also within a convenient 15-minute...

This hotel is quite dated and the hallways and rooms have a bit of a musty odor, but the water is hot. The towels and linens are great, and the bed is very comfortable.. The staff are very willing to please, and the breakfast should satisfy anyone.! It is extremely diverse and plentiful and the food was well prepared and delicious..

First of all, the lobby and the room were all clean. The second room we moved to had a slight smell of smoke, but you can choose a non-smoking room! The first room had no issues with smoke smell! The bathroom, shower, and bed were all clean, and the lobby staff could speak basic English, so there were no communication problems. The breakfast was also clean and deliciou...

A free shuttle bus operates every 15 minutes. Exit terminal 3 at gate 5, cross the road (it's about right under the pedestrian bridge to the subway). It takes about 5 minutes to reach the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, with a bathtub, and all amenities were provided except for room slippers. I had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Our family trip to Beijing was even happier and more enjoyable thanks to our stay at the Hilton Beijing. The room was spacious, with the bathroom and toilet separated, making it convenient for family use, and the room condition was excellent. Additionally, it was very close to Wangfujing Street and not far from tourist attractions, making transportation easy. The staff...

Location is ok - not much around it but easy for me to get to the event venue. Room was a good size, clean but smelly - very mouldy smell - could not open the window without calling front desk. Shower did not have a rainfall shower head and water took a long time to heat up but pressure was good once up and running. Fridge in room did not work Lighting in room p...

It is conveniently located just one train ride from Narita International Airport and within a 10-minute walk from the station. Since it is in the hutong area, walking around nearby is enjoyable. The hotel has been nicely renovated, and the courtyard is comfortable to use. The room was small. The breakfast was reasonably priced at 30 yuan and offered a fairly substantia...

The location is convenient for moving to tourist attractions as the vocational college is right next door. The service and cleanliness level are also not bad. However, the rooms and bathrooms are so small that only one person can barely move, so it seems suitable for solo travelers.

I really enjoyed my stay at Chao Salintun Hotel. I especially loved the beautiful design and the spacious, well-planned room. The room felt comfortable and relaxing, with plenty of space. The bathroom was also very impressive, especially the bathtub and the overall layout. Everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The food was excellent as well — delici...

Many of the staff members are very kind and accommodating. There is also a shop within the hotel, and the staff there are also very kind. The location is in a safe area, with many options for shopping and dining nearby, making it a highly convenient hotel. We traveled with children, but we were able to relax and enjoy our stay with peace of mind.

The accommodation was clean and hygienic, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. This time I was on a family trip, and considering it is a 5-star hotel, the narrow lobby and lack of amenities were disappointing. The second-floor dining place used spices appropriately, allowing foreigners to enjoy Chinese food without any issues. The restaurant is good.

From Seoudu Airport, you can take the train, transfer, and it's just one stop, and it's also quick to get to the subway from the train station! It's fairly accessible to the most important places like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Street, but since the Great Wall is quite far, I'll exclude that! It should be fine for those who have experience using hostels a few ...

There were so many eateries around the hotel. All on walking distance. There were also quite a few halal restaurants neat the hotel. The area is very calm and quiet. We felt very safe when walking around at night. The hotel staff are very friendly even though some are not good at english. We will definitely come back if we ever come to Beijing again

The unique architecture of Beijing was interesting. The dormitory room was quite small, but considering the good location and the price, it was understandable. The area around the hotel was darker than I expected, and I felt it was dangerous to walk alone. It was convenient that I could choose how to use the shower, but the toilet was not very clean. The cat was very c...

It is very clean, and the staff are truly friendly. The location is great, too—just a five-minute walk from the subway. While there aren't any convenience stores or restaurants nearby, it is quiet. However, there are so many mosquitoes that I get bitten every night.

First of all, it was easy to get around from Beijing Airport, and it wasn't difficult to find. If you go out through Exit A of Nanluoguxiang, there's a Lawson convenience store, and if you exit through Exit E, it's in the direction of the accommodation. Qianmen, the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and the Summer Palace are all accessible by subway, making it convenient. ...

I stayed overnight in transit around midnight, and the hotel was close to the airport with sufficient facilities. The next day, since I had some time, I decided to do some sightseeing, and it was just a quick Didi ride to the nearest subway station, Guo Exhibition Station. However, I don't know if there's a convenience store nearby, but it seems there isn't anything fo...

Reached the place, was told we cannot check in because it is not deemed "high-end" enough to receive foreigners. But the staff was really friendly and helpful. She helped us call another hotel nearby to check if they could accept foreigners and also checked if a room was available for us.

The location is convenient for moving to tourist attractions as the vocational college is right next door. The service and cleanliness level are also not bad. However, the rooms and bathrooms are so small that only one person can barely move, so it seems suitable for solo travelers.

We have an unforgettable time with David and May. We love our stay. The food was really tasty, the show candies.. the garden is really nice. We love the tour with David and have tea with May. 100% recommended!! Hopefully we can come back and stay longer.

I arrived in Beijing around 7 AM by sleeper train and was allowed to check in before 9 AM. (I communicated in advance via chat.) Thanks to that, I was able to visit the Great Wall with hardly any luggage. It's a very convenient location, and Dongsi North Street has a lot of foot traffic at night, with restaurants open. I will use this place again if I visit Beijing.

Cleanliness is okay. Staff is not accomodating. Others are grumpy and not helpful for tourist like us. If you are looking for budget friendly hotel, this is recommended. Cheaper price compared to other hotel nearby. A bit far from train station, you need to walk 1.2 km to reach traun station.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or a shop, so it is only available for overnight stays. There is a convenience store nearby, so it is not inconvenient. It is located very close to Jingshan Park, making it the best location for sightseeing in Beijing. It takes about a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Toothbrushes, etc., are available at the front desk, but the...

I have been wanting to stay at a siheyuan in Beijing for a long time, and I finally found one. The price is reasonable, and it is conveniently located near the bustling Qianmen Street for meals and souvenirs. The ZhuShiKou subway station is about a 5-minute walk south, making it easy to get around. It has an old-fashioned siheyuan style, so there are a few stains, but ...

receptionist yell at me and raise her voice and kept accusing me of not having a visa because she's so dumb and not understand some countries are visa exempt. she without my permission kook through every page of my passport and not let me check in. even with Google translate she not comprehend. when I ledt my luggage she refuse to give me a name tag or lock the lugga...

Considering all aspects, the hotel is undoubtedly a good choice; the cleanliness, location, and staff are all impressive. It could be an ideal option for either business or family travel. If I have to speak about the committee regarding any particular matter, I would mention breakfast. Because I didn't find enough options for breakfast, and there weren't really any hal...

Advantages: I used a twin room, and the bedding was all good! All the basic amenities were provided. The staff were all friendly, and they even took care of my luggage on the checkout day~ The location is really really really good (just a 1-minute walk from the station), and I think it's the best value for money! The location of the hotel was great. It was a very good accommodation for getting around. The restaurant on the first floor was excellent, and it was nice to have a fruit shop as well. Check-in and check-out were easy and convenient, and the condition of the accommodation was excellent. It was particularly nice to enjoy a drink at the café on the first floor using the welcome tea service coupon given at check-in on the first day. It's also close to the airport, making it a great place to stay for business visits.

The Xijiao Hotel was an overall very satisfying experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for getting around. Most of all, the service from the staff was impressive, and I particularly want to emphasize how friendly the staff member Xiao Cao was. Their attentive care made me feel good throughout my stay. If I visit this area again,...

The employees are very friendly. You need to book the shuttle bus before arriving at the airport. The Agoda event prices feel cheap. However, it is convenient to think that other things are similar. The interior and bathtub give an old feeling. There was no refrigerator in the room. The internet is not fast. I expect around 18-19 yuan from the airport to the hotel. Som...

I visited this place twice on business. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The reception staff are fluent in English and very friendly. The room condition is also good. However, if your room is near the elevator, you may hear the sound of it moving frequently. It’s not extremely disturbing, but if you are sensitive, it’s better to prepare earplug...

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, and it was great that they helped us with unloading our bags right from the entrance. I was very satisfied. On the last day, unexpectedly, there was traffic on the way to the airport and our checkout was late, but they kindly assisted us, which I really appreciated while being away from home!!

The friendly and cheerful response of the staff made my trip to Beijing even more special. If I go to Beijing again, I would like to book here. I had a great rest with the comfortable room condition and cleanliness. The subway station was also close, making it easy to get around!

I took a taxi from the station to the hotel. The check-in was smooth, and they explained everything politely while using a translation device. The hotel has a very good location. It is very close to Wangfujing. The hotel rooms are nice with a good view. If you pay a little more, you can have a view of the Forbidden City. The staff were friendly, so the basic service seemed good. However, the strange musty smell in the room was a bit bothersome, and there were hairs left in the bathtub. Real reviews for hotels
Been twice, first time air quality was good, second time it was disgusting. Avoid during smog alerts.
Beijing is very modern city offering to visitors everything what they need shopping or visiting places or museums
Beijing has all cultural monuments, palaces, and gardens in each and every corner of the city! Must explore all! Local eatery is hit n miss, but definitely look into TA.
Amazing city with many historical and cultural attractions and beautiful parks. A great place to shop as well.
Beijing is a good city with a good development. And also clean except the public toilet. Unfortunately, the people is not full of hospitality and shooping is very terrible.
The place is nice. It is rich in historical and cultural values and are very nice to look at. However, I wonder why a lot of big hotels near the Tiananmen square look very old from the outside.
Great Wall and Forbidden Palace are well know for Beijing. Specialy food at Wangfujing, you have to try is Scorpion and Starfish.
Beijing is not for the faint hearted. You've got to be rugged and in shape. While the (recent) subway system has made different sectors of this ENORMOUS city easier to access, you still have to walk some distances to get to where you want to go after you exit a subway station.
Do not ever travel Beijing around 1st Oct to 7th Oct.(China National Day holiday season) I travelled during that period and some places were closed, Trains and attractions were very crowded.
Beijing has beautiful people and so much history and places of entertainment to enjoy. The nightlife clubs bars and restaurants are awesome, the markets and shopping is world class with a plethora of offerings that is mind boggling.
Beijing is full of people, with the crowds in all those popular areas like cultural, historical sites.
Crowded but more order. There are lots of interesting places to see in the city and nearby. Food is cheap everywhere, people more helpful and friendlier than other cities.
I lived and worked in Beijing for 2 years.I hung around mostly Chaoyang District .Must see- The Great Hall,Forbidden City,Summer Palace,The zoo,Temple of Heaven,Lama Temple,Beautiful parks.
Beijing is a huge city that is still modernizing at an extremely fast pace. I say still modernizing because despite what it looks like from the outside, there are still things that need adjusting within to fully cope with being with the rest of the modern world.
the city is good and beautiful but the taxi and the local people is not so friendly to the tourism.
The city with 2 out of the 7 wonders of the world, a place for you to get to know more on chinese culture / history, forbidden city, summer palace, great wall to name few of the beautiful and amazing places to visit.
I was lucky enough to have visited a pollution-free Beijing. I actually bought a face mask in case pollution was unbearable.
clean city; hotel costs are reasonable; sub-way is accessible and efficient; cost of taxi is affordable; taxi drivers are helpful and brings you straight to your destination (no roaming around just to increase the cost); but all the 20 or so taxis we took do not have English-speaking drivers; always carry the address of your hotel which is WRITTEN IN CHINESE; ask hotel staff to write on the address further instructions to the taxi driver on how to get to the hotel; expensive city in terms of signature products; local food is abundant and affordable; a very high-tech city; please give allowance to cultural differences such as many of them do not respect queues and they do not say excuse themselves in case they want to go ahead or had accidentally hit you; to outsiders, Bejingers seem to be rude and ill-mannered when it comes to getting ahead of the subway or bus or queues but I think this is just an issue of culture and environment.
Beijing is a city designed to impress and more importantly intimidate. Streets are incredibly long and wide.
Beijing is one of the wonderful place to live, Stay, Sightseeing, I did not went to US but I feel that this is best place in top ten world cities.
The air pollution in the city bad. It was very hazy, hot and humid in the month of July. I will never go to Beijing in July and August if I wish to go to Beijing again.
Its dusty.Better to avoid during summer. Can expect a 39 deg c.Inhabitants are rude even if you speak mandarin.
A) Buzzling City with both old cultural building blending in with very modern buildings and landscape.
Bustling crowded city. Historically rich. Good for shopping. Many nice parks. Good transportation system and easy access to many places of interest.
Forbidden City: must see. Great Wall: must see. Be prepared for huge crowds everywhere, a lot of pushing, and tonnes of security.
Best thing was having a friend show you around. I would like to have gone to see SHanghai, and to the beach if possible.
You must visit Beijing on your first visit to China. It is what foreigners think of when they think of China.
The only one I interested in Beijing is Mutianyu Great Wall Temple of Heaven, Tian an Men , Forbidden city and Summer palace need your energy to walk so long
Great city, you can reach most of the city's attraction by subway. Although not all subway provided with escalator in both direction.
Progressive country; every single move counts their productivity.Hindrance to tour activities and shopping is their language, Mandarin, can;t understand English.

Since I traveled by taxi, there wasn't much of an issue with the location. There are many decent restaurants around, and especially every morning, local food is sold at nearby shops, making it a great experience. (If you walk straight to the left after leaving the hotel, you'll find a line of restaurants. Go to the meat bun shop with the line. Have two meat patties wit...

Let me suggest the travel route. You should take the subway to Wangfujing and exit through gate E3, where there is an escalator to help with bags. Once you come out, turn around and walk straight for 15 meters, then turn left. Continue along the street for another 60 meters, and you will find a small alley on your left with a sign for the hotel. The alley leads directl...

Despite these times, I used this for my trip to Beijing. First of all, the staff were really kind. Also, the facilities and amenities are truly wonderful. We booked a room without meals, but on the day, when it seemed like our check-in would be significantly delayed, we tried to contact them and they had already sent detailed directions to the hotel and were available ...

I went on a solo trip to Beijing, and there were always staff members on the first floor who were very friendly. I had a safe and pleasant stay. I booked a standard room, but it seems like I was upgraded to a very spacious one! There was almost no smell of smoke, but occasionally I could smell it coming from the bathroom; I guess this is unavoidable due to the ventilat...

Advantages: I used a twin room, and the bedding was all good! All the basic amenities were provided. The staff were all friendly, and they even took care of my luggage on the checkout day~ The location is really really really good (just a 1-minute walk from the station), and I think it's the best value for money! Disadvantages: The condition of the bathtub and the fix...

It's located a 7-minute walk from Beijing Station, inside a hutong (alley), but there's a police station nearby and police are present in various places during the day, so it's safe. I stayed for 4 nights at around *** per night. It's the place where Edgar Snow and his wife lived, and they have a well-organized commemorative exhibition there. The accommodation fee is...

Our family trip to Beijing was even happier and more enjoyable thanks to our stay at the Hilton Beijing.

The staff were friendly, so the basic service seemed good. However, the strange musty smell in the room was a bit bothersome, and there were hairs left in the bathtub. I was looking forward to the pool, but the water was so cold that I could only dip my feet in and then couldn't go in at all; there was nobody there, and it looked like a small round tub, which was surpr...

The accommodation I booked because I had to take a morning flight from the airport! I didn't expect much at all, but the interior, cleanliness, location, and convenience were all perfect! I can walk right to the airport!! If I get the chance next time, I definitely want to stay here again!

Beijing is so vast and complex that it was difficult to choose accommodation, but I'm glad I chose this place. The bathroom is clean and the bed is tidy, making for a comfortable stay. Above all, the staff are all friendly and lively, which made me feel good. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Beijing.

First of all, the staff is very friendly and can speak English. The accommodation is clean, well-located, and the interior is beautiful. All the decor items in the room are also very stylish. It looked great for the price when I saw it in the photos, so I made a reservation. However, as soon as the elevator doors opened on the guestroom floor, the smell of cigarette smoke hit me. The room was neither too big nor too small, but the furniture had an oddly worn feeling. Still, the staff was friendly.

Stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is located at one end of Li Shi Hutong, about an 8-minute walk from the nearest subway station. So, if you walk on the first day, I recommend taking a taxi.
