Traveling to Greece? Find Kos Island hotels

Lovely family run hotel. Maria and Spiro made us feel at home and were really flexible and accommodating during our stay. Walking distance to Agio Stefanos. Close to bus stop, where you can go to Paradise beach, Kos centre etc. There’s a supermarket up the road. Rooms are clean, well equipped with kitchen etc and are super comfortable. Beds are great. A great option for a well priced hotel next to the beach.

The room was sufficient in size for a single, bed fits two easily. Aircondition was included the the price, which was a huge plus. Toiletpaper needs to go in the trash, not the toilet. This is a big drawback, as there was no fan pushing the smell out. No wifi or internet enabled computer available for guests. Breakfast includes coffee/tea, orange juice (watered out from mix), fresh bread, ham, cheese and hardboiled eggs. No lunch or dinner, but there's a nice little restaurant 100m from the hotel.

Philipos really made us feel welcome throughout our whole trip and attended to our every need, our flight was delayed and we landed at 1.30am , where we were greeted and looked after promptly despite . Would throughly recommend - only feedback I would give to improve the stay , there was no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom which affected my girlfriends ability to wash her hair (as we can’t take much liquids in the hold this would have been useful although we just bought some from the ship ), breakfast was adequate but little basic but again you get what you pay for and given the quality service and great location I would not complain to much .about not getting a full English. Pool was clean and private too . Throughly recommend.

We absolutely loved Kos Island. Especially our stay at Gaia Garden. We booked this hotel not even realising it is all inclusive. Such a good surprise for us! The food is incredible. Great range and always heaps of fresh salad supplies. The house wine is also very good. We had the best time lazing by the pool, reading and playing table tennis. This was our first experience of the Greek Islands and we were not disappointed.

We are just back from our stay in Christina Studios and missing it already. The apartment was great and had everything you need. The studios are in an ideal position and close to all the bars and restaurants with fantastic views from the balcony Everything is very clean and well maintained by the very kind and welcoming owners. Would stay here again on our next visit and highly recommend these apartments to everyone.

We stayed here after booking 2 hours before we left for the airport due to the collapse of low cost holidays and being told our original hotel was cancelled. The owner, George, emailed within minutes of the booking to ask about our arrival time which was really reassuring given the above circumstances. We arrived in Tidaki at 1.00am, was met by George and shown our rooms-a large double and twin with bathroom and kitchen area-air con was 5€ a night and was worth every cent as it cooled the whole apartment really effectively. The things we will look back and remember about the Golden Sun are: 1. The pool terrace and facilities-the pool area was never busy so never a shortage of sun beds and the pool commands amazing views of the mountains and doesn't shade over like some built up hotels. 2. The staff-the fact this is a family run business makes it very personal and George and his dad were great at creating a friendly atmosphere, cooked lovely homemade food at the pool snack bar and helped when we needed a couple of things. 3. The location-the apartments are a 5 minute walk into town and bus stops to Kos Town, 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to the supermarket and bakery yet they feel away from the bustle, set in a quiet rural area with amazing views. We completely relaxed, unwound and felt very safe the whole time we were there for the fortnight we were there and would recommend the Golden Sun without hesitation, particularly in terms of value for money.

the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the port and is right in the center of the city near a lot of bars and restaurants. it is 10 to 15 minutes to the nearest beach though. the room was clean and of average size and the bathroom was very small. the room also had a balcony. the breakfast was ok and was much better than what we were used to having while traveling through turkey. the staff was also helpful with any questions we had for them.

There are many mosquitos in the room though, since the wall is white I could get them down easily. Room is clean and breakfast is also nicely enough. Location is quite nice since it's not so far from port, you can get taxi 17 euro(or 16) from the port I felt lucky because the hotel which is opposite side of Tigaki S was so much noisy with loud sound till midnight. You can reach shopping street and bars easily, 10 min by work. And surprisingly we found nice restaurant where you can reach 5 mins work from the Tigaki S, named "Spagetti Factory". They serve quite real pasta there, and you could watch a beautiful sunset from the terrace. But you need to wear long sleeve, or you can bring anti mosquitos goods. There is possibility to call them for reservation, you may get 8 euro discount per night.

This family-run hotel is friendly, helpful and everyone gives you a genuine smile. It has proper maid service, the pool is spotless, large and inviting with plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Their hotel restaurant is reasonably priced as is their bar items and service is over-the -top. You really feel appreciated and special here. The hotel is right next door to a big supermarket where you can get everything you want. In addition to food and a bakery, they also stock souvenirs, clothes, toys, beach items, all sorts of things. Right on the street is a bus stop where you can get an hourly bus to and from Kos City, about 10 km from the hotel. From Kos you can get busses all over the island for a nominal fee. The hotel has nice gardens with lots of flowers. Each room is assigned a herb,, we have Rosemary. You wont find a nicer place to stay in Kos!

me and my girlfriend stayd at this nightmare motel, in the midle of nowhare, it was very hard to find, the lady there was miserable, she kept asking us why we wanted to stay only one night,the room was small,and old, it got extremly hot inside if we didnt open windows, when we did open them, we got totally invadet by mosquitoes, and got biten about 20-30 times when we tryed to sleep, so no sleep all night,just waiting to get away from there as soon as possible, a total nightmare, ill never go back, avoid.

When we arrived to the hotel, my doughter stepped in to a vomit that was left uncleaned right in front of the hotel. After that screaming incident we walked inside of the hotel. In the middle of the floor in the lobby! So i quess cleaning is not a priority in this hotel. The rooms were quite large but very old and there was a smell of ''stale'' everywhere. Beds were hard and small. Showers were a joke. Hardly any water came out from the showerhead and the shower space was tiny.

Apartments are very clean and large enough. The furniture is OK and everything work perfectly. The family managing the hotel in a very professional way is really helpful and plenty of unbiased suggestions. The Psalidi beaches are 300-400 mt away but the best ones can be reached by car, quad or cycle (the cycle-reserved road is passing in front of the hotel). For lazy people there's a big swimming pool with bar. The wifi unfortunately is working only in the main hall but improvements are planned. I never had breakfast in the hotel but it's offered for a little supplement.

I stayed here whilst attending a wedding 3:5K away. Great family run hotel headed by Ramona and ionnis.peaceful at night not the hustle and bustle of larger venues.Food good buffet style and good bar service. Rooms spacious and well set out.Location wise 10 minute walk to beach or 5 minute walk to bus stop to get into Marmari.Hotel does everything from car/bike hire to arranging trips. All the staff were great and so helpful would definitely go back .

the staff are the friendliest people you will ever find anywhere,very supportive and helpful with all your needs,good pool and great snacks from the snack bar ,BBQ night is the highlight with great food and the best entertainment you will find anywhere on the island,with Greek dancing karaoke the best time ever greet family entertainment,I recommend it to anyone ,ange toula and the whole family are the best ,thanks for a great time,,see you next year

It was our 1 week getaway to the Kos Island in October. Weather was more than welcoming - but not less than the apartment was. We were pleased and happy in all respects. The apartment is ideal, especially in case when supported with a rental car - to explore all the gems/ attractions of the island (and still they provide bikes for rent) & this place close to all Tigaki’s (locality’s name) bars/ restaurants/ supermarkets and ideal beaches (during our complete stay there were no waves, so this may be quite different to some other time, since the area is known as windsurfers paradise – and still beaches are simply gorgeous, with tiny beautiful white sand, isolated dunes - outside the Tigaki locality, bird/wildlife proximity, beach’s wideness and length, as well as deepness of the coastal waters – they’re just 1,5 m at 50-100 m distance from the shore – enough space for all)

We stayed in a deluxe sea view junior suite and loved it! The room was large, modern and all white with spectacular ocean & resort views. Modern bathroom with walk in shower. We also opted for the half board option so breakfast and dinner was included. I am not keen on buffet food but it was excellent! The choices and freshness of food was amazing. Every day were different options and the only problem was what to choose! The house wine is bad and we noticed a lot of people would leave it on the table when they left. The bottled wine was very good but a bit more expensive and not always available although it was on wine list. The beach has lots of rocks so you need the special shoes otherwise it is quite difficult to get in and out of ocean. There are plenty of day beds on the beach and around the pools. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and a 10-15 minute ride into town. Loved the hotel and hope to be back one day!

Perfect place to spend a few days at, very beatiful garden and pool, frendly english speaking staff,nice clean rooms, feels allmost like a five star hotel, breakfast as very disqusting, old juice, old food, no odher meat alternative or meat not from pig, sea view room a big fake, not poosible too spot the sea, very far, and with big trees in front of sea, but in all a very nice hotel.

Our stay at the Aqua Blu in Kos was by far our most pleasant hotel experience in a long time. The hotel is elegantly designed and the ambience is quite calm plus the food and drinks were outstanding. But most of all the whole staff was so friendly and helpful, that we felt like being at home. We can definitely recommend a stay at this hotel and would come back with great pleasure!
