Traveling to Greece? Find Naxos Island hotels

Excellent, very good staff and the food was delicious . It was approximately 15 minuets walk to the Port which has lots of resturants and shops. We did a bus Tour of the Island which was spectacular and well worth it. Only problem was the Leader spoke mainly in Greman. Naxos was so much slower and relaxed than Santorini but as many steps. The Castle area has some wonderful unique shops with arts and crafts. Maybe next time we would hire a small car a drive around as many of the beaches actually have sand and not rocks and pebbles. Love Naxos and the Porto Naxos.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Naxos Island Escape. The rooms are new and beautifully done and Marios' hospitality is unmatched. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a great time in Naxos. He delivered exceptional home made breakfasts to us each morning and served as a point person for making sure we had transportation and a plan to really experience all of Naxos. This is a really special place run by really special people.

We stayed for 5 nights at Iliada Villas. The size of our villa was perfect because we have 3 children. The villa was very modern, clean and comfortable. Fabulous views from our outdoor eating area. Iliada Villas is about a 10 min walk to the pristine beach, stores and restaurants. And the team at Iliada were so helpful with anything we needed. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Naxos.

After researching quite a few different options, I’m really glad I picked Ippokampos. The rooms are small but extremely clean with excellent sea views (at least the room we stayed in - 5), the breakfasts are large and varied, even after staying for a week, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and being right on the beach is ideal. It’s only a 10 min max walk to the old town and center of Naxos Chora, so it’s great to have the quiet beachfront for staying and having the option to go in and out as you wish. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I was greeted by a smiling, friendly and warm Maria at the reception. Truly a warm welcome of a complimentary basket of her homemade apple cake, fresh fruits and a lovely refreshing delicious local white wine. The studio was spotlessly clean with a pleasant, elegant interior decor. Just right on the beach is the friendly Yialos seafood tavern, a Tripadvisor's recommendation, who serves very FRESH seafood at a reasonable price. Very clearly, Thomais is highly recommended by me !!

Well.. when we arrived the owner was quite patronizing and went into small pointless details about the property eg, closing the curtains at night, hand towels vs body towels etc. He treated my friend and I as if we were children. The facilities were extremely lacking and/or broken. The shower did not work effectively as it did not have a wall mount and it sprayed everywhere which caused the room to be filled with water. There was no kitchen towels, only one set of cutlery and dirty dishes upon arrival. Would not recommend.

Pros: Very good location, very quiet, yet close to the night life and the labyrinth streets of the old city. Our room (114) was great, nice blue and white design, beautiful bathroom, albeit a tiny shower but functional. Room also had a fantastic view, though I think all rooms have great views too. The name “panorama” is not without merit here! Very friendly staff, great value, we will come back! Cons: none for us, but if any: person with reduce mobility might find the hotel difficult to access thru the small streets of Naxos.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay (five nights). The owner and staff were very attentive and helpful. The location is great - easy access to the Agia Prokopios beach, but still a quiet area, near shops and restaurants. The hotel is newer, and very pretty. The rooms are large with deluxe bathrooms, balcony. We had room 14, with a nice view (over some rooftops) of the ocean. Great restaurant and rooftop pool - affordable menu - great service from Georgia and Elvis (really, Elvis!) Highly recommend - we'll be back. By the way, Naxos is a wonderful place to visit - much more laid back and interesting than Mykonos (the only other island we visited).

* Firstly, apologies for lateness in posting review! * The owners of this small family run business are passionate about the service they deliver and they really have their guests best interests at heart. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute of our stay. The room was decorated beautifully (the furniture has a distressed/worn look, and I believe the curtains and some other decorative pieces are hand sewn) and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping is done daily - no matter how hard we tried not to bring a speck of sand back into the room, invariably it happened. After housekeeping had been, it was always impeccably clean again! Despina is truly an amazing host - everything from the Port pick-up/drop-off service she offers, to assisting us with hiring a scooter to explore the island, and being so willing to answer any questions we had, as well as suggesting great local places to eat, and places of interest to visit on the island. Her mother is truly adorable, and even though her English is very limited, her beaming smile, enthusiastic attention to detail and willingness to assist makes you feel as though she speaks English fluently. Truly delightful hosts and you feel like you are staying as part of their family and not as their guests! We didn't eat breakfast in, despite reading so many glowing reviews about it. Instead, we opted to utilise the in-room kitchenette facilities (there's a big supermarket close buy - perfect for buying Greek yoghurt, muesli, etc). The neighbourhood combines both residential and business, but we didn't find it abnormally noisy. Regarding touring the island by scooter - if you're planning on exploring the entire island, there are lots of hills, so for 2 people on the one bike, make sure you get a 4 stroke, and at least 125cc. We're not overly heavy people, but there were several times we wondered if our scooter (2 stroke, 100cc) was going to make it! Loved staying here!! It was a short drive to/from the port/Chora area and provided easy walkable access to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island (Agios Prokopios, Agios Anna) and Plaka & Mikri Vigla (our favorite) was a short ATV ride away. We had a budget double, so no sea view, but the lovely little balcony was a nice spot to drink our morning coffee or an afternoon drink. Only thing to be aware is that it’s very close quarters and so with the balcony doors open you can hear all your neighbors’ conversations (or in our case a neighbor who slept through literally hours of his loud, early morning alarm)... :/ The staff was amazing and kind and we really enjoyed our stay!!

Having arrived by ferry there was a town plan that showed the location of the hotels by zones. The hotel was within walking distance of the port. On Arrival we were greated on first name terms. The hotel although in the old town of Naxos looks new, rooms are bright and comfortable and spacious. The hotel is central to restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to St George's beach.

Amazing place! This was by far the best place we stayed at in Greece. It was so clean and beautiful. The hospitality was great. They helped us with everything and went above my expectations to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with a super market close by. Walking distance to the beach and the pier with all of the shops. Great value!

Stayed for three nights and couldn’t ask for a better place. Ideal location just between two good beaches with many many restaurants, beach bars and stores around. It’s just a block from the beach which gives it more privacy but still close enough for easy access. The bus stop is also just around the corner. It’s a small pretty hotel - everything feels new - and Dinah the manager is great, friendly and ready to help out if you need anything from taxi arrangements and recommendations. The rooms are very clean (mine was spotless) with modern amenities, fast WiFi, nice bath, and comfortable bed. There’s also a nespresso machine which is a nice surprise. The daily cleaning service does a good job and it’s great to come back to a cool, spotless room after a day in the sun. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

We are a group of 3, staying for 3 nights. It was our first time in Greece and in Naxos. Nektarios picked us up and welcomed us with their homemade liquor and dessert. He helped us a lot with directions and car rental, and sent us to the port for departure, also found us a place to store our luggage after checking out while waiting for the ferry to depart. The room was clean, well designed and very spacious. Just a short walk to Chora. Nektarios and his wife were very good hosts. They took care of us very well and made our trip very memorable :) would never forget our time there! I totally recommend Naxos Evillion for everyone visiting Naxos.

Perfect location. Close to everything including the beach. Rooms very clean. Amazing couple who manage property. Picked us up from ferry port. Showed us how get around. My Ferry was cancelled because of a strike and i needed to stay longer. they helped out a great deal, allowing me stay extra day and when hotel got full found me another close hotel for same rate. Going to naxos, definitely recommend staying here.

The 2 night stay at Naxos was chill and relaxing! The studio was clean and well furnished. The terrace was definitely the highlight. I spend almost half of my time in the room other than sleeping outside. Enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the sea view. It is just located next to the bus station, so you can take a bus from the port instead of taxi. It only cost $1.8 per person but you need to buy the tickets in the grocery store nearby. This restaurant and studio is family owned, you can feel the family feeling and the staff friendly with nice restaurants. Will definitely come back if I go back to Naxos again!

The Birokos hotel is a short walk from Agios Prokopios beach. It is family run and truly nothing is too much trouble for guests. We stayed in the apartments near the road, which offer basic comfort. It may be preferable to pay a little more to stay in the other apartment block to be located away from the noise of the road. That said, we were satisfied with the accommodation.

The apartment is spacious but not very well thought as the AC is only in one room which means that if you close the door the other room can not be cooled. An insufficient number of plugs, poorly equipped kitchenette. Facilities (pool) looked ok but didn't use them at all. Location was good, on a busy road but the apartment itself was quite. Close to the village and the sea. Breakfast was excellent although not in the complex itself but 2min walk and staff was rather helpful
