"I have stayed in 2 hotels in new York within this 1 week. I prefer this best western times square compared to hotel mela. The room in best western are more modernized looking and they are a bit bigger. The lobby is much bigger with ample of sitting area and we can get free ice and water from bar. The location is best as it is just in the middle of everything. It is very convenient that we can just buy chocolates from Hershey's which is at the corner of street and later drop off in hotel. The hotel is very flexible in allowing us to deposit luggage there. We went to niagara fall the day before checking into best western and best western allow us to deposit bag for $1 per bag per day. It saved us more baggage money than bringing it on the the domestic flight which will cost us $25 per baggage. Staff service is fair. I have booked 2 rooms and one of the room is king sized bed. They didn't informed me clearly which room is the king sized bed until I probe further. My aircon remote is not working hence we need to manually off and on the aircon by digging our hand into aircon switch. Hair dryer is not good condition. It automatically does not work if the toilet is humid. But overall experience is fine . "

"Our stay at the City Club Hotel was in two words amazing . I can not think how they could improve on it , it was flawless . I had read that the rooms were small but man are they well thought out , every amenity you could want and never once did we feel cramped .The bathroom was simply wonderful with the best shower I may have ever taken , didn't want to get out . We traveled with our two dogs and every member of the staff was an animal lover and were just so friendly to my dogs! There is a park two blocks away on 42nd st for the dogs to do their bussiness . The location of course is ideal to take in a show and everything from the best New York delis to fine dining options all around you . I know I will never stay at any other hotel in New York if I happen to return there ."

"for a one night stay, this was not a bad lodging option. staying in new york can cost a ridiculous amount of money just for the hotel. the bowery grand, while not grand at all was better than exepected. the room if you want to call it that, was actually the size of a long closet. it was the bare minimum, a twin bed and a tv that did not work at all but at least it was decently clean and there was no wait at all for the bathrooms. the subway is only a block and a half away which was really convenient. if you're looking for a place just for sleeping then this is definitely a viable option for those on a tight budget."

"(+) - Great location. It is near the metro station, bus stop, convenience store (CVS), and bank. - The room is clean and the air conditioner is cool. - The beds are ok. We had a good night sleep. - There is drinking water in the kitchen. We can cook our food there or make tea. - The area is ok. It’s pretty quiet at night so my little one can sleep well. (-) The receptionist was very late. We arrived at 3pm for check-in and the receptionist was not there. We were very tired and wanted to rest but have to waiting until around 6pm. Luckily the room was ready and clean when we checked-in."

"this is a wonderful hotel. it was reasonably priced for new york. the only issue is that it is very far downtown. other than that, everything was wonderful. the rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff let us check in early and we were treated with a great view of the river and the freedom tower. the room overlooked ground zero which was sort of shocking and awe inspiring at the same time. definitely a great bargain for nyc. "This hotel was a joy to stay in, it has large rooms, mine had two queen beds with lots of room left. A large well equipped bathroom again with plenty of room for all your toiletries and a huge shower space. The hotel is In a very good location, a few minutes walk from Times Square and a a block from Macy's. The is an excellent staff culture and everyone was so friendly and helpful, Got some good tips from the concierge On where to dine. It was also a short walk to the airport bus terminal which saves $40 on a taxi fare. I would definitely stay here again when next in New York. "
