Rhodes hotels & places to stay

Some rooms are very average as they have old decor. However the staff are helpful, the breakfast is great (even more selection than the last stay), the pool area is nice and the bar area is always busy so hotel has a nice ambience. The location of the hotel is great as easy access to the new town old down and the beach- all just few minutes by foot Will be staying again!

The room is very clean and the staff are all very helpful. We originally made a booking without breakfast, but we were told that breakfast buffet is provided for free when we arrived. Besides, they provided welcoming fruits and cakes, and a bottle of red wine on the second day. The staff is enthusiastic in helping us in printing our boarding pass and giving information about the bus schedule with great hospitality.

We loved it here, coming from Hong Kong we just don't see places like this and it was a delight to stay here. Our room was great, little Juliet balcony, a compact upstairs area and more importantly atmosphere. You felt like you were somewhere unique and it makes such a welcome change from the brand name hotels. We chose this as a treat and were not disappointed, our only disappointment will be finding trying to find somewhere as nice as this in other places. The service is great and the staff, its family run, are welcoming, open, and very helpful. It finished our greek holiday perfectly and we will return! Totally recommend it above anywhere else I have stayed in Rhodes.

The location is good and close to the town centre and beach. Pool area good and entertainment good. Sos not cheap but very nice. I felt the hotel wasn’t worth what we paid to stay at all. The room was basic but ok, the shower was a bit grotty though. You had to pay extra for A/C which is ridiculous and not mentioned at the time of booking! The breakfast is ok but very salty some days. Dinner (which was free for a week as they had to move us to another hotel for the first night) was awful! Definitely not worth $130 a night!

Avalon Boutique Hotel is located in the middle of the medieval old town of Rhodes, tucked away in a cobblestone alley near the Street of the Knights. From the moment we stepped into the stone arch into the beautiful garden café we were struck by how cozy and relaxing the atmosphere was. We'd expected something much more cramped, but the hotel's area is surprisingly airy and filled with trees and plants. Our room was awesome, very comfortable and romantic, and the staff was excellent in accommodating our wishes. The jacuzzi was sized like a regular bathtub, we had envisioned something larger, but other than that, everything about our stay was fantastic. (Other suites may have larger jacuzzis, I don't know!) I very much recommend Avalon Boutique Hotel for couples travelling to Rhodes.

We stumbled into this beautiful hotel after staying at a few questionable places. It was a dream! Great pool as well as a beautiful, comfortable room and bathroom. You do however have to pay extra for wifi in your room as well as other activities. We also enjoyed an extensive breakfast in the morning which was included for us. This place is more of an all inclusive but doesn't have to be. More of a family friendly place than we were expecting but we had no issues. It was not right in Lindos but along a beach nearby, so we did have to pay 8 euros for the taxi ride back and forth into the town. Overall it was great!

We stayed in the Hibiscus Suite and it was really beautiful, made even better by the amazing service of Alexandra, who helped us starting a month before our arrival with local reservations and information. The suite itself is wonderful, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and the location can't be beat, right in the middle of Rodos town (10 minutes away from the Medieval Town), yet tucked in a small pedestrian alley away from any noise. We would love to stay here again if we ever made it back to Rhodes.

Kolymbia bay itself is a lovely area in Rhodes. When we arrived, as we were on our honeymoon, Dimitra - very helpful member of the reception staff - informed us that they had upgraded our room to a sea view and we would be given free massages too - very nice of them! The massages were amazing - certainly one of the best massages I have ever had - make sure you get a massage by Maria during your stay it was heaven! The room was very nice - super clean with all the facilities you would expect - TV, fridge, wifi - only small problem we had was that the air con wasn't on for the first few nights we stayed - it was early in the season so just getting up to the high temperatures - when we asked how to turn it on as our room was very hot - we were told that the air con for the rooms was all linked together so if it is on in one room it is on in all of the rooms, so they centrally control it and it wouldn't be turned on for a few days yet! Thankfully the following day it was turned on but if you like to be in control of the temperature in your room this maybe a problem for you. The pool area is very nice and the pool bar is also nice - where they serve the late breakfast option - this is a great idea and not one I have come across before - for those who like to sleep in past the breakfast serving hours - they offer a late breakfast option which they serve in the pool bar area - in my opinion this was maybe even nicer than the buffet selection serve at normal breakfast time. The food in the restaurant at dinner time however needs a lot of work - on the first night the chicken in the buffet wasn't cooked through- some pieces were pretty raw - they were really apologetic but that really shouldn't happen - there are other eateries in the area about 10min walk away so we chose to eat out of the hotel most nights. All in all a great value pretty modern hotel though - would certainly recommend a stay there.

We stayed in the freshly renovated room with private pool for usd 55 a night : great value for money. Slightly out of the main area and quiet but no problem when you have a car or a bike. Mos for airport pick up is great and well priced, he has some tips on the island ... just book through the hotel. Staff on size is great. Only down would be the breakfast which is a bit limited and the same from day to day. But great stay

Very nice hotel. Small boutique place right in the middle of old town, but away from the noise. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Gave us a great list of recommendations for restaurants (all perfect) and things to do. The building itself feels and looks like an old castle, with an old well and (new) Jacuzzi in the courtyard. And it is only 3 minutes walk to main square, but avoids a lot of the noise and foot traffic of the tourist areas.

Very cheap to pay. This is actually a cottage style hotel designed tastefully and giving me a "wow factor". Very good housekeeping. There are so many olden days items inside the bedroom. The entire building was actually an old style restaurant. The restaurant serves all day dine-in at the best price you can find in Rhodes. It is always full because the food tasted really excellent and authentic Greek. The breakfast is the best part and it is free and you can order anything you want from the menu. The breakfast itself is already easily valued at 1/3 of the hotel price you paid for. The dinner menu is amazing and I must recommend the fried cod fish, pork chop and baklavas.
