Thessaloniki hotels & places to stay

I met many nice people there,we have a great talk. We shared many travel experiences,I’m thankful for their sharing! But its location is on the top of Thessaloniki,if you are enjoying walking on the street to hostel,or you want to exercise for a while,you should stay here haha.

I did not find many choices and stayed here. I would not stay again, even with great location. It has very little room for walking or luggage. Steps are horrible with a suitcase

Large rooms with large terraces. Located on the 6th and 7th floors of a walk up. Had a modern lift installed to facilitate vertical movement. The host was very helpful with providing tourist info. She gave us a free upgrade due to availability. She made good recommendations on things to do and dinner places. The taxi trip from the train station only cost 7Euros.

overall OK, there was some smell from the bathroom, but it was clean. 3 minutes to the sea. Only one small supermarket nearby, but lot of restorants and bars on the beach. Wifi was VERY weak and it was only near the pull. No TV in the room. Nice garden, good staff, good clean room.

I found the pella ideal for my needs. I was passing through Thessaloniki on my way to the UK.I'll be staying there again on my return. Also going to the great restaurant just over the road.

Lot of Noise from the street on saturday evening. Requested and received a room away from street on sunday. Receptionist admited that on saturday night it is very noisy outside. So take care to get a room away from street when you stay there saturday night ! Very tidy and friendly staff.

We just stayed for one night and came from the bus station, which is easy to access from the hotel. Located on a main road, it can be quite noisy but shopping facilities and main square easily reachable by walking. Breakfast was basic, but a lot. Wifi was not so fast. The bathroom was a little unfortunate, since there was no real shower curtain.

I paid for a single but was upgraded to a spacious double. The location is very good. It is on one of the main shopping streets where I could find good restaurants, bars, convenience stores. The bus stop is just downstairs. It is also within walking distance to the railway station. The room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints.

Had a decent stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location for sightseeing as most of the sights are within walking distance.

Rooms are too dark. Breakfast is very average.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff were very helpful and it was great having the market just downstairs. We would have expected more for breakfast at that price though.

Forgot my necklace in the room at checkout . Owner had it personally couriered to my destination of choice even when I had left the city... can’t praise them enough AAA+

Very clean and cheap, perfect for what you pay. The aircon did nok work, but we opened the window and managed the sleep for 1 night. For more nights it nights it might get uncomfortable without aircon

Our expectations were exceeded. Elegant rooms, bathrooms and public areas. Located directly on the beach. Many restaurants, cafes etc. nearby. Excellent breakfast. Good waterbus connection to Thessaloniki (White Tower).

A good budget hotel if you want to stay in a good cheap hotel in the city center. friendly staff

The hotel is a nice 3 star hotel. Located well a few minutes walk from the city attractions: City center, the port, the nice colorful area of Ladadika with many restaurants. The room was nice with comfortable double bed, free Wi-Fi and a desk suitable for my computer. Breakfast was with nice variety. This is a nice hotel for a decent price in downtown Thessaloniki. There is a bus stop less than a block from the hotel and you can connect to the major lines from that stop. The apartment was very nice, clean, had everything we needed but the neighbourhood isn't very nice and it's a bit far out of the city centre.

We had a most enjoyable stay. Staff we're amazingly helpful and attentive, went out of their way on all counts. Location was superb, only downside was the A/C as it wasn't very poweful

The Metro is being built in Thessaloniki so in future would be easier if want to reach centre of shopping and scenic waterfront sites. Distances can be far walking to them even with a map as most street names are in Greek and roads are not as straight forward as they look. The main reason we had booked this hotel was its close proximity to the airport and the fact that they offer a Triple Room as we are 3 friends travelling together.
