Thessaloniki hotels & accommodations
This is my 2nd time in Astoria, the best thing is the staff in all areas especially Vasiliki in reception, and Tina in room service. I tried 3 room types Budget single stay was not bad at all very good value for money if you don't mind a back side window view. There are 2 types of double rooms, you better make sure you get the bath tub and 6/7th floor rooms they are th...
We had stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and the rooms interior are excellent. It even have a balcony where you will have a good view. You can also go up to their highest level at 7 whereby you have a good 360 degree view of the city. Breakfast is standard whereby you will have the same food everyday, not a slight change.
Stayed one night before my flight. The location was not too bad, but I felt farer than it looks in the map. The lobby is nice and spacious, so as the room. The room has a nice work desk so it's perfect for the-last-minute work before your flight. I ordered a red house wine and pasta from room service, They were just so good. I did not have time to experience the swimmi...
plaze hotel is very good, it is a small steps from pier. very nice, is in centrum - more restaurans and bar, very nice a good, thessaloniki is very good place..
Our expectations were exceeded. Elegant rooms, bathrooms and public areas. Located directly on the beach. Many restaurants, cafes etc. nearby. Excellent breakfast. Good waterbus connection to Thessaloniki (White Tower).
We loved every minute of our stay at The Met. Will sure be back here when we return th Thessaloniki. Clean hotel, great pool with even better view, the staff were very prompt when required and the loved the kids, especially Dimitri the pool life guard. Location is five minutes from the main hub by taxi which was only a €4 either way plus the hotel has a transfer servi...
This hotel, centrally located in Thessaloniki is a funky boutique hotel. From its tastefully foyer to its comfortable beds to their clean bathrooms with extreme strong water pressure, one can relax before going to town.
Hotel was good for one night. Staff was helpful but not very friendly, didn't show correct but line to the airport.
The hotel is a nice 3 star hotel. Located well a few minutes walk from the city attractions: City center, the port, the nice colorful area of Ladadika with many restaurants. The room was nice with comfortable double bed, free Wi-Fi and a desk suitable for my computer. Breakfast was with nice variety. The hotel has it's own parking but unfortunately they are charging 1...
We really enjoyed our stay here. The mattresses are awesome and the seaview also. We would definitely book here again!
I found the pella ideal for my needs. I was passing through Thessaloniki on my way to the UK.I'll be staying there again on my return. Also going to the great restaurant just over the road.
really nice, i enjoyed my stay there. the room was big and the hotel was really nice. The design inside and the view was good.
I did not find many choices and stayed here. I would not stay again, even with great location. It has very little room for walking or luggage. Steps are horrible with a suitcase
We had a most enjoyable stay. Staff we're amazingly helpful and attentive, went out of their way on all counts. Location was superb, only downside was the A/C as it wasn't very poweful
This was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff were very helpful and it was great having the market just downstairs. We would have expected more for breakfast at that price though.
Very clean and cheap, perfect for what you pay. The aircon did nok work, but we opened the window and managed the sleep for 1 night. For more nights it nights it might get uncomfortable without aircon
The main reason we had booked this hotel was its close proximity to the airport and the fact that they offer a Triple Room as we are 3 friends travelling together. The shuttle service was efficient - they arrived within 15 minutes of our call. The room was fine and reasonably large. The breakfast was sufficient and the front desk staff, Manolis, was really helpful and f...
Great quirky hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki. Greeted by great friendly staff and an early check in - they even gave me a little breakfast when I arrived to check in. Beautifully renovated with great furniture and art/ murals. Really comfy bed and lovely room. Traveled with a 12 month old who loved it and was welcomed by the staff and other guests. I stayed in the ...
Rooms are too dark. Breakfast is very average.
Great location to visit the city. It’s a convenient luxury hotel.
This is a nice hotel for a decent price in downtown Thessaloniki. There is a bus stop less than a block from the hotel and you can connect to the major lines from that stop. It's relatively quiet even though it's on a busy street (didn't keep me awake at night). The rooms were clean and mostly comfortable - the pillows were flat and rather hard and the shower stall ...
I believe gym needed for a 4 star hotel and i suggest breakfast should be richer woth more options and not same every day. The whole picture of hotel for me is positive enough and i recommend it, if i visit this area at the future i would choose it again
Forgot my necklace in the room at checkout . Owner had it personally couriered to my destination of choice even when I had left the city... can’t praise them enough AAA+
I met many nice people there,we have a great talk. We shared many travel experiences,I’m thankful for their sharing! But its location is on the top of Thessaloniki,if you are enjoying walking on the street to hostel,or you want to exercise for a while, you should stay here haha.
Everything was lovely. Breakfast gave us a really large option, which isn't always the case with smaller hotels in European cities. Really excellent. However, there were two major disappointments: 1. In asking for help to get to Chalkidiki without a car/which beaches to go to/how to get around/etc., the receptionist/conicerge was extremely unhelpful. We had to basicall...
Holiday inn Thessaloniki is so called 5 star hotel, but it is actually not. it is not located right in the center of down town but is reachable by foot. my wife and i stayed there for 2 nights and the hotel can fulfill our basic needs. one incident happened which i think it is worth sharing. I could not locked the window so I called Housekeeping to help. A man c...
Hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel staff polite and efficient and breakfast quite good. However, all thought the hotel is far from the city centre there is no frequent free suttle bus. There was no iron inside the room -which most 5 star hotel offer- and if you asked for one not only they did not provide but suggested you use a paid service.

From the first impression at the fast informative check in to the end of my stay. No faults, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms spotless good mattress and pillows, clean bathroom, good choices for breakfast, take your pick of 6, fast internet cool air con and quiet at nights, laid back atmosphere with soft jazz sounds, perfect to see everything around, get it booke...
Large rooms with large terraces. Located on the 6th and 7th floors of a walk up. Had a modern lift installed to facilitate vertical movement. The host was very helpful with providing tourist info. She gave us a free upgrade due to availability. She made good recommendations on things to do and dinner places. The taxi trip from the train station only cost 7Euros.
overall OK, there was some smell from the bathroom, but it was clean. 3 minutes to the sea. Only one small supermarket nearby, but lot of restorants and bars on the beach. Wifi was VERY weak and it was only near the pull. No TV in the room. Nice garden, good staff, good clean room.
Good location 15 mins walk to most things. Constantino the receptionist is amazing at giving recomendations. Rooms are tiny but good. Bed was pretty comfy. Would stay again for sure
Lot of Noise from the street on saturday evening. Requested and received a room away from street on sunday. Receptionist admited that on saturday night it is very noisy outside. So take care to get a room away from street when you stay there saturday night ! Very tidy and friendly staff.
We just stayed for one night and came from the bus station, which is easy to access from the hotel. Located on a main road, it can be quite noisy but shopping facilities and main square easily reachable by walking. Breakfast was basic, but a lot. Wifi was not so fast. The bathroom was a little unfortunate, since there was no real shower curtain.
I paid for a single but was upgraded to a spacious double. The location is very good. It is on one of the main shopping streets where I could find good restaurants, bars, convenience stores. The bus stop is just downstairs. It is also within walking distance to the railway station. The room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints.
Had a decent stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location for sightseeing as most of the sights are within walking distance.

we booked this for only 3 nights, and the days were full with things to do - so it was ok. if you plan to spend time in the room, it will be disappointing: very small room, medium cleanliness, located on the central street=traffic noise, inefficient cooling (can be a problem in the summer). breakfast is always the same, but ok for 2-3 mornings. parking is horrible in t...

very good hotel in great location great views and peaceful. Clean hotel with free wi-fi even in room and air condition.

The apartment was very nice, clean, had everything we needed but the neighbourhood isn't very nice and it's a bit far out of the city centre.

The Metro is being built in Thessaloniki so in future would be easier if want to reach centre of shopping and scenic waterfront sites. Distances can be far walking to them even with a map as most street names are in Greek and roads are not as straight forward as they look. Pleasently suprised with how clean and fresh everything was and how friendly the staff was. The even called a parking house to check availability.

A city with very ggod food and excellent night life. The sea front is full of small and beautiful bar and caffes.
We spent actually 1 ful day for the sightseeing in Thessaloniki. It is enough for looking around the city center and visit 1 or 2 museum.
Very hot in July and August so it is better to visit it from the March to June and from September to November.
easy to communication in English. People are willing to help. taxi drivers are trust worthy. if you are energetic enough, 2 days 1 night at Thessaloniki is just good enough.
