Traveling to Greece? Find Zakynthos Island hotels

The hotel is all in all excellent! The views are breathtaking, both from the pool level and from the sea view rooms. The sunset from here is stunning! The balconies offer privacy from adjacent balconies. The restaurant is unlike other hotel restaurants, it is top class! It offers great fresh and local food and amazing cocktails. The hosts and the staff are all very welcoming. You will require a car or some other form of private transportation to enjoy this hotel at its maximum if you also wish to explore the island. The city centre and Vasilikos area are only a 10-15 minute drive with a car. The West and North parts of the island would be an hour's drive. A negative for us was that you have to pass the Argassi town to get to the hotel which can get quite crowded and conjested. Because of its location within the trees on the hill you do get some wasps/bees circulating especially at meal times. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for our last night on Zakynthos, at the end of a 10 day island hop - our only regret is not booking this place for longer! The hotel is absolutely stunning, rooms beautifully decorated and the pool and grounds are immaculate. Nikos and Mary-Louise were so helpful and made us feel like honored guests, despite only being with them for the one night. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped us make the last 24 hours on the island feel really special - booking us in for last minute massage treatments and helping with the final day logistics, that meant we could squeeze in a day of boating, snorkeling and turtle spotting before heading to the airport. The hotel is a short distance from Tsivili town which can be walked in an evening, then only 2 mins in a taxi back. We have fallen in love with the Greek islands and will definitely be returning - including a longer visit to Kymothoe next time! Thanks again guys for your help and amazing hospitality :)

We loved our stay at this beautiful family run hotel. Dimitris and Yiannis are such fine hosts and take a lot of time to make their guests feel welcome and to help them with feeling comfortable during their stay on the island. They helped us organise a car and gave us directions for the best sightseeing options. The room was comfortable and cleaned beautifully every day. The breakfast is adequate and the ladies who prepare the food are very good hosts too. We can highly recommend this hotel for a really pleasant stay in Zakynthos.

We just needed a base in Zakynthos for 2 nights in October, before flying back to UK. Great budget hotel (~€30/night in October for "superior", seaview double room with a sort of buffet "breakfast"). A large (needed if it's raining and there are two of you), but stark room with a desperate requirement for a new carpet. The bathroom was basic, and, bizarrely, shared a central air shaft with the room next door. The shaft, which ran down the side of the bath/shower had a metal, slatted panel. The bathroom of the room next door had the same, so you could virtually see your next door neighbour having a shower/bath while you did, and hear them talking as if they were in the same room with you lol. The room was noisy at night, when guests come in late, as we were opposite the lift. Other than the aforementioned, it was clean and OK as a base if the sun is shining.

Our stay was excellent. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. The pool was great with a nice ocean view. Rooms were quite spacious. Overall was good value. It would be beneficial to hire a car to get around the island as the hotel is a little further up the mountain, and not right on the beach. However, the hotel does offer a shuttle service in the morning to drop people at the beach and pick them up at a specified time in the afternoon. The hotel is situated at the better end of the island (in respect to where the nicer beaches are), and only a short drive to beaches.

We got little sleep here unfortunately. Everything was great otherwise, very clean, good service and nice pool area. We had a superior pool view room. The doors on the pool side were double glazed which was great however, the doors on the hallway side were paper thin. Every person that moved or spoke in the hall was extremely loud and we were woken each morning in the very early AM (from 5 or 6 am everyday) by guests and then cleaners starting very early. I can't believe I didn't read about this in previous reviews, I wouldn't have booked. We were given two twins pushed together instead of a double. When I asked for a double, they graciously added a topper on the bed which got rid of the hole in the middle but the bed was still very uncomfortable. Holidays simply cannot be enjoyed with out a restful sleep and for this reason, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The room is nice and cozy. Great view of the beach from the balcony. Elena's son was very helpful. He drove us to Zante one night free of charge. But the water in the room switched off in the morning so we couldn't shower or flush the toilet. We told Elena when we checked out and she apologised but she never offered us a discount for the inconvenience caused. The shower is also very tiny. Just a tiny square with no shower screen or curtain so the water splashes all over the bathroom. It's a cheaper room but the location is a bit out of the centre. It's about a 20 minute walk and quite dark walking back at night.

We went the end of August/September. The pool is great, the rooms have nice terraces, kitchen, AC, which you need only at night because of the mosquitos, there is a nice cross breeze in the rooms. The bathroom is really small and water gets everywhere when you shower because the shower curtain is also too small for the shower. The beds are ok, rooms are big and well equipped. There is a little very mediocre store in front, and breakfast is not very good at all, I would recommend going shopping somewhere else and using the kitchen, eating on your terrace or by the pool. There is also a little pool bar and a good restaurant by the closest beach which is a few minutes walk If you need it, the bus stops very close to the hotel.

Perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the touristy areas. Vasilikos is a cute little village, with a very genuine feel to it. Olgas studios is very well situated - you can walk to the beach in 10 min, there are supermarkets, tavernas, an ATM, a car rental, bus stop etc. nearby. The room we had was spotless clean, with a very well equipped kitchen. We had a lovely, spacious balcony where you could see the sea in the distance and the beautiful mountains.. Lovely to sit on this balcony and have breakfast in the morning. The owners are very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Zakynthos!

My girlfriend and I have been traveling for 7 months and staying in hotels off of Agoda.com. This has been one of our favorite stays! Everything is like-new and our patio was sooo cute with an ocean view. There were fresh fruits in a bowl on our patio table when we arrived! The room was super cute as well! The restaurant is next door and has very good food! Our WiFi connection was decent as I need WiFi for my work. Two Thumbs Up! Loved our stay! Thank you Dionissis!:)

It is in a beautiful location surrounded by olive groves. There is a bus service to zante town just down the road. Very lovely family running the place. The "dad" was amazing (he speaks no English but very friendly and helpful). The flat is basic but clean and the breakfast every morning is fresh and delicious. The beaches are walking distance away about 15 minutes. It's quite and peaceful great place to stay.
