Everything is great, from the location which is close to convenience stores, Seven Eleven, Lotus, pharmacies, and eyeglass shops. The staff are friendly and always smiling, although sometimes they seem confused when asked something, but still cute. The room is really beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious Thai-style bathroom. Parking is quite limited, so you may have to compete for a spot if you want to park near your room. The atmosphere is great, with a beautiful view of the sea all the time. The white sandy beach is clean and beautiful, especially with the fireworks show at night. The food is quite limited, but the taste is good. The breakfast has a variety of options in a buffet style. There are many activities to do, and the accommodation also offers various promotional activities.

The location and view of the accommodation were great. I was very impressed with this trip. The atmosphere was good, private, and the room I chose was right by the beach with glass doors on both sides, allowing for a beautiful view without having to open them. Or, if you wanted to feel the breeze and listen to the sound of the waves, you could open the glass doors. There were two layers of curtains for privacy. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, but there was a slight downside in that there were stains around the edges of the tub or on the top, which may have been caused by long-term use and the water being hard. There were also some dust and ants that needed to be washed away about 10 times before they disappeared. It would be great if there were shoes in the room because sometimes sand would get in. The staff were lovely and provided great service with bright smiles. The food was delicious. The beach was beautiful and easy to walk on without shoes. The room we chose was perfect for couples. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back again. However, next time I will book this room for a week. 😊🥰

I booked here for a friend & I to spend 5 days together… her first time in Thailand! This hotel was a great choice because she doesn’t drive a scooter and I wanted everything to be walkable… and boy was it! The 7-11, pharmacy, and several food options are all right out on the street in front on the road. Even better is we could walk barefoot out of our rooms, stroll down the beach, and there are several restaurants. A notable new restaurant is ~15mins down, called Sol Beach and it’s a must visit. Fantastic food & good vibes. But back to my review of Coconut Beach Resort. :) I booked a basic villa for me & gave her the fancy beach bungalow villa. I was happy she had a lot of light coming in and a sea view! Mine was like a dungeon compared haha - but it was cheap and only a few days, I only needed my room to sleep. AC worked great, good water pressure & hot water. Definitely not the nicest room in terms of things being new or having any counter space in the bathroom, etc… but I made do. I wouldn’t stay in that room again but I would recommend the beach bungalow with the big windows and more space if you can swing it, budget-wise. The staff at Coco cafe on the beach was great. Not much English, but they’re sweet and do their best. The soda/blended coffee drinks, panang chicken dish, and sweet potato fries were our favs. The chairs at the cafe aren’t that comfortable IMO but there are some great loungey beach chairs nearby you can move over to once you have your drink. There are also sun loungers by the pool. Wifi worked good enough for us to be online & watch shows and I even did a video call from my phone (in my friend’s bungalow) and it was smooth. Waking up to take a long stroll on [Klong Prao] beach and swim in the calm waters throughout the day was the best part. The sun doesn’t set right on the water here, as this resort is tucked in a little cove so the sun sets over the trees (where Chai Chet Resort is) but you can see it set on the water by walking down the beach a little ways (i.e. if you’re at Sol Beach for dinner). Either way, the water is sooo calm and the sky turns such beautiful colors it doesn’t even matter. It’s paradise!

I’ve been in SE Asia a month now. I’ve moved on but still yearn to find a place like this. A very Thai themed hotel. Rooms excellent etc for the quirky bathrooms. Beach is truly idyllic. Because of its position in the bay, such smoothe warm sea. Graduated and excellent for children. The hotel has loads of sun beds on the beach and around the pool. Trees on the waterline giving you lovely shade when you want it. The Coco Beach bar is literally on the sand and grass behind for both daytime food and drinks. Then on the evening, table cloths. Etc. Such a treat after the hectic BangKok and Pattaya. For us Europeans that love the bays of the Balearic Islands. This is the hotel for you!!! Food and staff are great. Excellent breakfast etc. just outside the gates. Two pharmacies. A 7/11 and another supermarket for essentials all within 100m. Also within that area, there are Thai, Mexican, Italian, restaurants along with a very modern sports bar with live music and for us football lovers, live football. !!!! Maybe not if your team play Liverpool and get thrashed and the Beach/Bar Thai manager reveals his Liverpool tattoo. He wears the lilac tennis managers polo shirt!!! Great and kind banter!!! I could happily come back here next Dec. For longer than the 7 days I spent here. Straight to the island of Koh Chang from Bangkok. Don’t hesitate guys!!! Book it!!!
