    Good Connection To Airport/Ferry Terminal”

Arrived from Hong Kong to Outer Harbour, took Sofitel Ponte 16 shuttle bus, and walk less than 5 min to reach this property. Walkable distance to St. Paul Ruin and nearby tourist attraction(alley may be confusing, and some climbing, not recommended for elderly). Nearby bus eg. 26A, can bring you all the way to Hac Sa beach and the Coloane Fishing Village (and to Taipa/Coloane). Below hotel attached one small restaurant (dim sum anf hot dishes), can get crowded during meal time, but served with nice food and reasonable price. Room ia spacious. WIFI is extremely weak, and lobby do not provide free WIFI too (unreasonable excuse). Hotel staff are friendly and able to answer if any questions about travel tips, where to eat, how to go airport/harbour and etc.

The most horrible front desk staff in my life”

I do not usually write bad reviews. I only write good ones and if my experience is not so pleasant, I don't bother giving bad reviews. But for this hotel, I must say, I've never met such an unprofessional hotel employee. We were checking out early in the morning to catch a flight, so when we were checking out, we asked the front desk if he could call a taxi. He just stared at us like we were some dirt on his desk, he called somewhere, spoke chinese, and then hung up. He didn't say anything to us and did not even make an eye contact, but started doing his thing. He just let us stand in the front desk and ignored us. Didn't even bother to say "There is no taxi available now". After 30 secs, we asked again if he called a taxi for us. Finally he said, "No taxi". And that was it. It wasn't even busy that time. It was 6 in the morning for heaven's sake, and there was no other guest standing in front of him. Yet he decided to just ghost us. Haha. What an experience!

    complete personal hygiene supply

East Asia Hotel is good as to location thou the lifts are so small to carry three persons with luggage. Room for three persons is spacious. Bathroom supplies are well provided. Room is clean and comfortable to stay with. The front liners staff were quite unfriendly but the rest of the staff are nice. The waitress on the restaurant on the ground floor easily got angry considering that they don't know how to speak English. So far we enjoyed our stay in this hotel as well as in Macau.

    Value for money!”

Clean room, affordable, near the heritage site

Hotels in Macau can be quite expensive and it was a joy when we found East Asia because it's quite affordable compared to others. But what we were more pleased when we arrived at the hotel and saw the room. It is newly renovated, room is big and clean, so is the bathroom and good location (just 5-10 minute walk from the heritage sites). They also have free wifi. Don't expect a view though. There were three of us who stayed in a double room and they did not charge us extra. If you're traveling on a budget but still want the comforts of a basic hotel, this is the right place to stay in.

    Our first time in Macau”

    Position, ease of access, cost

We travelled with our son who lives in China. The hotel was acceptable in every way, it is so central that we were able to walk everywhere, exploring the alleyways and generally getting a feel of the surrounding area. We would enjoy returning to the area and would most certainly use the East Asia Hotel again - lovely hot water in the bathroom, air-conditioning that works, windows that open, what more could a traveller want.
