“Staying on weekdays during the month of Ramadan.”
I will share my good experience of staying 1 night on a weekday during Ramadan. In my experience, the operational hours of most attractions here are from 06:30 AM to 05:30 PM. - Some attractions for adults only allow guests weighing less than 70 kg (outbound, aquapark). - Some are closed during midday from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM (outbound, bouldering, horse riding, fragile garden). - Some operate only in the morning or only in the afternoon (morning only: wave pool; afternoon only: superslider). - Some attractions are closed on weekdays (free attractions closed on weekdays: river sand play, wild splash, angelfalls, symphony park). - Some attractions require payment (visioneast, fun rider, kids station - indoor playground). - Some attractions are closed during rain (the little train is closed during light rain). So if you really want to try everything, come on the weekend. I stayed on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. There are 2 parking lots: 1 in the basement and another behind the hotel (outdoor, exposed to rain). Arrived at the hotel at 1 PM for check-in (but couldn't enter the room yet), this was to play first so I have enough time to enjoy the attractions since they close at 05:30 PM + it could rain anytime in this rainy season. Everyone will get their room at 3 PM (informed via WhatsApp about the room number, then pick up the key at the reception). The reception area only has 2 small desks (when I went there, only 1 desk was open with 2 staff members, and there was no long queue), no waiting room. Items can be deposited before playing. After going to the reception, we will receive a voucher (1x little train, 1x outbound, 1x ATV, and 1x horse riding). Just go through the glass door, turn left and have a welcome drink at the front of the restaurant where there were 3 varieties, my favorite was the sweet one! Then walk straight; there’s a door leading to the outdoor area. First, we encountered the little train which was still closed due to light rain, so we went left first and tried the ATV. Quite shocking because at the first attraction, the staff was not very friendly, not smiling at all. My advice for beginners and those usually riding automatic scooters is to stay in gear 1 on the ATV and not change gears to make it smoother 😂 The ATV is given 12 minutes, and you can switch people in the middle. Helmets are mandatory. Next up, horse riding. There are 2 horses: a pony and an adult horse. My child rode the pony, just 1 round, and there’s a photo spot in front of the Eastparc sign at the end of the ride. The staff smiled the whole time from start to finish, very friendly! Next was Adventura, I got too caught up chasing my child to record a video that I misstepped. There’s a rope that’s quite high inside, I stepped but it turned out to be less high, so I fell onto the paving. My forehead started bleeding a lot, when my husband asked for help, immediately some staff came to accompany my child while my husband took me to the clinic which is very close. There, the health staff treated me well. If the bleeding didn't stop, I would have to be taken to the nearest hospital (RSKIA Sadewa), fortunately, the bleeding stopped shortly after, and I was ready for adventure again 😄. Thank you very much Eastparc staff who were so kind; my child even learned to ride a scooter while I was at the clinic. Bouldering has several difficulty levels, it was also fun. We went back to the Little Train, which was now open because it stopped raining. 1 ticket for 2 rounds. The most comfortable seat is in the middle; if you sit in front, you can’t see ahead. Next, played for a while in Dinoplay (the outdoor playground) and then passed the aquarium and koi pond towards the fragile garden. There are iguanas that kids can touch, as well as other animals like sulcata tortoises and snakes. It is covered here so it is safe during rain. Finally, it was time at 3 PM, I picked up the key at the reception. In the room, there was a box of bakpia with 4 pieces of assorted flavors, and an extra bed for 1 child for free. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided; slippers cannot be taken home. Towels for water attractions must be those from the room; they are not provided in the attraction area.
