Old hotel”
You can tell it’s an old hotel trying to be maintained. Only thing I disliked was the shower had no curtains and made a watery mess. Amenities was perfect it had everything you needed like micro, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Check in was friendly forgot her name she had like blue eyes but she was excellent! First room window couldn’t close which I did call it in and was moved immediately for safety concerning which I did read the reviews btw of people braking in so that was handled perfectly. Parking should be considered free due to the area. If that was free this would’ve been a 5 regardless how out dated it is. The only new modeled was the lobby area which was so pretty. Breakfast was like on a go type of selection which was fine because I grabbed a muffin and banana and went to work. So out of 5 I give it a 4.

The price was 20 dollers more than was satisfied ,hotels that were cheaper gave the same level of comfort and luxury . 5 minutes away such as Oakland executive . No reason to Pay more money

*it’s a decent place, *A little above average. *Fairly clean, -bathroom shower don’t get cleaned properly -the parking lot is not clean & don’t feel secure even though security & police always circling the area -a fence would remove the sense of freedom and charm but heighten the sense of security -too many homeless parked on the street unscrupulous characters walk around -sometime house keeping don’t change the towels and bed spread and clean the shower They just replace the soaps & put towels in the rack It’s good enough for the price ,could be. Better But it’s fairly clean and not run down extremely

It’s Oakland……”
Wanted San Fran but not at the time we needed at 450+ per night, and I mean plus! So we tried this waterfront Oakland location with our fingers crossed. It was a solid 3 but for $270 per night including taxes and fees, u can get a very nice San Fran hotel most of the time….just for us, not this time. Wouldn’t choose to go back but u never know!

On an 8 day road trip around California, we left the car at the hotel and took the shuttle to the ferry at Jack london square. Great service from the team at Executive Suites.

Great service at bar and restaurant. .. Truck stolen from lot at night. No cameras working, no security on lot till after 11pm. Was planning to come back, but now gonna stay in a place with FULL gate and guard. Oakland has such a huge homeless and drug issue, be wary where you stay, eat and visit. Missing my truck and tools.

Had an amazing stay with my wife and we both were happy with the experience. Very attentive and helpful staff. Thank you to Doris in the reception/shuttle who was very warm and helpful and always smiling and attentive. She also gave information on sites to see.

Convenient to the airport”
Staff friendly enough but nothing to rave about. Hotel out dated. Hard to find the room. Location is close to airport which apparently means it needs gated security. Not a place to stay on vacation but ok if you just need something functional near the airport.

Our service is normally raved about, as we are one of the best reviewed hotels in Oakland. Also, many guests actually stay here for their vacation, as we have a beautiful waterview. We were given a room that already had an occupant in it which was very embarrassing for both of us, there was only one face towel and our room, and the TV was stuck on a Spanish station where the remote didn't work to change it.
