Hotel experience”
We had a great experience in the hotel. The staffs were accommodating and very patient in attending us despite the language barrier. The place is very accessible since it is near to the places we wanted to go. All in all, we would highly recommend the place to our friends and relatives. Thank you for the great experience.

Good Location”
The location is very accessible to some tourist spots.. Bus stations is just along street. They do the housekeeping everyday..👍 The staff are friendly and accommodating . Though no one can speak english, they use the google translate to communicate with their non-chinese guests. Not bad for the price.😂

nonoy”
got this because the rest of the hotels were out of the budget and i reserved a bit late. but still, it could have been a lot better. go here only if it's last resort and you're not planning to stay a long time inside the hotel.

The Very Worst Hotel”
I booked 1 night at the Forson hotel with my wife, for a quick day-trip to Macau. Although we requested non-smoking rooms, and the hotel was supposed to be non-smoking, the rooms all stank of stale smoke and mould, with cigarette burns on all of the carpets and surfaces. Ashtrays were on the side table (non-smoking huh). The first room we were put into was severely mouldy, and the room they moved us to was a mild improvement, but nonetheless; damp and mouldy. The windows were as thin as rice paper, and adjacent to the street, so every cough, fart and sneeze of the passing pedestrians can be heard. Beds are rock-hard and have that plastic sheeting underneath to protect the mattress from bedwetting. Changing rooms from disgustingly mouldy, to tolerably mouldy required a significant debate with the receptionist. Of c, this isn't going to be a 5-star experience for this price (700HKD), but at least it should be clean, not stinky and at very least not mouldy! TERRIBLE

Worst hotel ever”
This hotel is right in front of a very noisy street. Compared to the room price this was the worst hotel I ever booked. Like all other hotels this one was totally overpriced on new years eve and the day before. But it is really annoying if you have to pay 160 US$ per night for such a bad room. I booked a non smoking room and of course I got a terribly smoky one. And other rooms smell bad, even if not from smoke, and so does the lobby. And some rooms only have a tiny window to a dirty narrow space inside. As a hotel guest you are not welcome - the female receptionist doesnt look at you and wouldnt even say hello. Such an awful experience you can only get here.

Newly renovated rooms, Great value for money”
Had a hard time locating the hotel. The given address is San Maa Lou which is the present day Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, a long main avenue in the heart of Macau Peninsula. The address should be "No 579 and 583 Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, Macau (Near Ponte 16)". It will be more easy to find and it will better market the hotel. Although the hotel is quite small, I think a hand-full of rooms only but it has a lot of things to offer besides its magnificent value for money. I salute the owners for the renovation being undertaken. The mixture of the classic exterior and facade with the modern rooms blends with the great history and rich culture of Macau. All the basic hotel room amenities are taken care of. Just some improvements needed like a little sound-proofing of rooms, customer relationship of "some" staffs, lobby restroom (I went back to the hotel after checking out to get my things that I left there in the reception, asked the reception staff if I can use the bathroom. Sadly, he said "no"). Overall, although it needs a little tweaking in some aspects, I give the hotel my two thumbs up.

Worth the price”
we were lucky enough to have booked this budget hotel. they were in the midst of total renovation. lobby might not be appealing as construction was going on hence dust was everywhere. our room was newly renovated hence it was considered acceptable for the price. it's within walking distance (mind you, 10mins walk) to senado square and other touristy spots. oh, the restaurant which served the famous double-layered steamed milk was just next door many picturesque buildings behind and one of the outlets of famous shop koi kei bakery was also behind this hotel. however it's the main disadvantage for those who come to this island sacredly for casinos as it is so far from any of them. the nearest also requires 20-30minutes walk that is the grand lisboa. good luck you all!

the forson has a great location right across the street from the larger ponte 16. restaurants, convenience stores all nearby. the lobby is currently under renovation, but the rooms are newly renovated and so there is no better bargain.

Lobby under renovation but rooms are new! ”
The rooms are not big, best if you can request for a room not facing the road if you mind the noise coming from the road. The lobby is undergoing renovations so it might seem very rundown but the room is newly revamped. The toilet is clean and spacious, basic toiletries provided. The location is great too! For the price we forked out, this is a good deal!

Great location, spacious for the price”
the location was superb, close to the fame senado square & tourism center. the lobby was in renovation progress, so i think it would be nice if we got some discount for this.hehe..other than that, everything was great!the room was satisfying enough, even though we were greeted with a bit cold reception guy.he cant speak english, but i guess lots of locals in macau are pretty much the same,so i rest my case.

Very nice hotel, in the heart of the city, within wlaking distance from most interesting areas, clean, newly decorated room. Also as i was, it's the cheapest one in the city, but still a good choice for budget travellers.

Fabulous Location but tiny rooms”
Arrived at hotel and was promply greeted and checked in, although very little english could be spoken by the check in staff. Was given room key and pointed to elevator direction, wow.... the elevator was just a box covered with wood - my wife and I assume this was to protect the interior metal claddings from getting damaged. Took elevator to 4th floor and noticed the 2 rooms - ours and another side by side as they are normally and opened the door to a beautifully presented room, very modern, clean and bright, excellent bed linen and bathroom towels. Views outside were those that we are already familiar with in the Philippines so had no problems with that. Room was a little tiny but lucky my wife and I are not large people. We undertook many walks from the hotel and discovered many great historical buildings in the area and some local shops were open 24/7, a fabulous Casino was also located nearby. Most of the larger mainstream Casinos were more down town location but we enjoyed walking, at all times of the day/night. We felt safe at all times. There were many restaurants including the world famous fast food chain type and numerous computer/electronic/clothing stores in the area. All seemed well patronised with the many visitors that were in the area. We would suggest that if you need a large room then choose elsewhere however if small, comfy and budget conscious then this hotel is better than some other we have stayed at.

Pleasant stay in the budget hotel”
generally satisfying and pleasant. i cross over from Shenzhen. i was feeling stomach upset due to perhaps eaten unhygienic food in China as I stayed in Zhuhai, Panyu, Shenzhen before I went to Macau. I was looking to walk around the city but was refrained due to the purging.

Good location but price too high.”
The hotel is located at the centre of Macau. Very good location and easy access to the tourist attractions. The lady receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room is quite clean but small. However, price too expensive for such a room. Overall, it is satisfiable for one night stay.

Nice hotel in a nice location”
The hotel is ideally situated and easy to find. There's a nice large sign in front of it, and it is on San Ma Lo, which is of walking distance to Senado Square, the Grand Lisboa, and the local scene for a more unique experience. It is close to public bus stops and is not too far from the border gate. The hotel was very clean, and had all the necessary parts. The only negative was that the internet was down when I stayed, but that should be fixed soon. The beds are also quite firm - but whether that's a positive or negative is up to you.
