I had a great time in Yogyakarta for the second time after 9years. And it's also my second time staying in Duta Garden. The hotel changed a lot for the better. With the new wing having he villa and the old wing are still the perfectly clean same. The area is perfect. The pool is good after a long walked. Internet wifi connection superb! I've always love how gard...
This place is very decent, if a little old-fashioned. The decor in the rooms is slightly dated. However, it is clean, with a decent breakfast option and tea served to the room at 5:00 pm every day. The pool is quite large, though often occupied by noisy children. We were there during the World Cup, and the guest house turned on the games for everyone to watch in the co...
This is my second stay at this hotel. I came back for the same reason. A nice, uniquely designed room with a comfortable balcony. The hotel is styled like hacienda with interior like a colony room in a tropical country. This means a large poster bed, a spacious balcony and simple & rough furnitures. I like the friendly staffs conversing very well in English. They a...
my stay in Ndalem Padma Aari Guest House was very good, mee l come back to Yogyakarta than l will stay in this same guest house.
We stayed 5 nights at Rumah Palagan Guest House and we could have stayed there longer. The staff is SUPER friendly! The small restaurant serves nice food. The rooms and the hotel is very nice. It is quiet. It's good that the hotel has a pool, very cleaned. There is a woman spa in front of the hotel, highly recommended. 5 min. walking distance there is a very delicious ...
We were shocked that this place was so cheap! It felt like a 5 star hotel! We had our own small house, which was clean and very comfortable and you can even choose what time and where they deliver a big breakfast for you! Whilst the hotel itself is beautiful, you shouldn't stay there if you want to explore Yogyakarta itself and see the sights of the area, as it's 20km ...
Unclearhat the bed for the third adult was not included in the price. Would have booked a cheaper place otherwise. Charged night for extra mattress on the floor. Room was clean but overly perfumed. Bathroom was large but shower was over the sink/ floor - Asian/ "wet" bathroom style. Not close to major attractions but in a nice neighborhood with good restaurants a...
Feel like home. This hotel was originally a big house, and they change the bedrooms to hotel rooms. The room we were staying was very spacious with 2 twin beds and one single bed. The room is clean, and bathroom has bathtub and hot water. The most surprising element was the enormous size of breakfast that I could not finish. In front of hotel, small parking lot is avai...
We booked 3 rooms, and there is only 7 rooms in the homestay. Our room had what I think was an extra-king size bed. My 4 year old and husband and I slept in it very comfortably! We also had our 5 month old in the travel cot (we brought our own cot). So the room was big enough to look after us all! Each room has its own bathroom, which are all modern and have hot water....
I stay for 2D1N in this hotel with my family, the staffs are very friendly..they always greet us with smile. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a little bit small (no bathub) but clean enough. The breakfast is also good, it's buffet breakfast, but don't expect 5 stars hotel menu here. The environment is very good, you can walk around or you c...
I have good memory about this hotel (Guest House). The one, i choose this hotel because the price is very nice to my pocket. So, i just try this hotel. And i very happy stay in this Guest House. The room very clean, hot water, breakfast, high speed internet access, and very calm situation hotel. I hope, i could still have this price. This price very helpfull for me who...
Worted price, nice guest house, overall okelah
i would totally stay there again. friendly staff, the AC and hot water worked well, nice everything for the room except there's no blanket. and i got the room with no seating area. the pool is across the guest house, so basically they have 2 buildings. it was clean, quite large, and very peaceful. the location is not close enough to malioboro, will be hard if you plan ...
What a wonderful place! One of a kind. We had the feeling we were back in time and history. It's a part of the Kraton Palace complex, it used to be a residence for the princes and princesses. The people who run it and the staff were so kind, friendly and attentive! The lunch buffet is really tasty, with Jogja fare and they even had a traditional live music, which toget...
i stay at casa raffles hotel for 3 night when school holiday started. you know yogyakarta is well known for lack of hotel room supply in school holiday. i had difficulties booking hotel room a month before holiday in one of my favorite yogya hotels (ibis, mutiara, rumah boedi). so, i booked a junior suite at casa raffles. when first arrive i was dissapoint a bit be...
Nice Homestay with friendly staffs, nice traditional breakfast, good location easy to find, near train station and surrounded by traditional culinary. Booked two rooms for 3 nights, at 1st night was quiet and cosy. But then the 2nd nights was noisy from the other guests walked around & slammed door very loud after midnight, and also able to hear their talks from other ...
We arrived at the Maharani Guest House only 3 days after Gunung Kelod erupted. Yogyakarta was covered in volcanic dust. Shops and restaurants were still closed. The airport would be closed for another 3 days. We were the only guests. The room we were taken too very was large, clean with a fridge. The bathroom was a shower area and toilet in the one room. Large fl...
i picked this guest house randomly without thinking of the location or others' review etc just because it has swimming pool. nothing is wrong with the location in fact it covers and can reach important areas in yogyakarta easily, becak (rickshaw?) is always available in front of this guest house. the breakfast is modest but enough (toasted bread with 3 types of j...
Hot shower inside the room, breakfast with ftuites, rice and toasts with coffee in the center of Yogyakarta I think is already more than enough for their cheap price. After this I closed my eyes on dirty old room wich need to be improve its appearance. By the way they cleaned it perfectly immediately when I asked for room clean. Also staff is very friendly, really ...
Home sweet home, I think that is the best word for this guest house. We love to stay here.We stayed here many times. The staff so friendly and helpful, clean room with swimming pool. We will come back again :)
When we arrived at the agung Inn the rooms were dubble Booked so the owner took US to her other hotel. After one night in a really big room we could check in in the lovely agung in. The rooms are a bit small, but it is in the centre of Jogjakarta. Would definetly go here again
Room facing the road is a bit noisy, as eell as mulla waking you up in 4.30. The room is well cleaned, nice breakfast and friendly stuff
it will be better to lays clearly 1. stadnard of the hotel 2. image of the room (sample only) 3. list of grocery available Never expected no shampoo, soap, mirror, dustbin
The room was clean, and near to Malioboro which is the central of Yogyakarta tourist life. The internet running only in the dining/common room, NO internet in the room Breakfast is ok, but we are in yogya for culinary get away, so no one is complaining about the breakfast (u can choose toast bread or fried rice for the breakfast) The guest house is decorated in Javanes...
Unforgetable sweetest memory was gained by our family members... it is quite, artistics, and share a local wisdom very obviously.
Is in 2 locations across the street from each other..choose the better rooms as is fewer on that side and nice javanese garden..quiet location ..but only about 2 kms from Prawirotaman where all the nightlife is ..they rented us the hotel vehicle with driver for cheap price ..good place to escape yogyakarta hussle for a while and just watch the birds making nests in th...
Room was spacious added with 2 chairs and 1 table. I think it should not be there, as there was no function at all. Breakfast was not really good, as it is much more suitable as lunch. Good thing if they want to improve this to Indonesian type of breakfast such as lontong or gudeg (Jogja specialty). Staff was quite nice, though they didn't help me to bring my heavy bag...
We really loved staying at Sabana Homestay. The family is so lovely and took care of us all the time. They are such friendly people and their kids are cute. The owner got up at 3.30 am to making us breakfast because we booked a sunrise tour to Borobudur. The son of the owner asked us whether we want to have dinner in a good italian restaurant and drove us there. It wa...
I was in a group of 4 travelers and needs a room with 4 persons capacity. This hotel gave what I needed: a room for 4 persons with 2 size king beds.
We stayed at the Omah Tembi Homestay for a week in July. The setting along the eastern edge of Tembi Village is beautiful, and we saw lovely sunrises over the rice fields each morning after being awakened by the roosters. We enjoyed walking through Tembi Village and the surrounding area. The hotel is approximately a 30-minute (50-70,000 IDR) taxi ride from central Yogy...
Overall, we loved it! Rooms were simple but clean. The AC and wifi worked well. Free breakfast was awesome! You have the option for western or Indonesian food - we got the Indonesian breakfast and it was so yummy! The pool was nice and the staff were helpful. They spoke some English so it made communication easy. Great location, close to restaurants and some bars. They...
Pros: The staff were friendly, basic breakfast were serve everyday (cereal, bread or omelette), Room were basic but clean. Just a few steps from Ruang Seduh (the best coffee shop in Jogja!) Cons: No Wifi in the room (which is crucial) the wifi only available at the common room. Bathroom were smelly (something with the pipe thing). Location were a bit far from city cen...
I thoroughly enjoyed my 10-day stay at nDalem Gamelan Guest House. The room was comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, the location was perfect for exploring Yogya, the small staff was helpful, and the price was affordable. I eat Indonesian food and the staff fixed whatever I ordered for breakfast: nasi goreng, gudeg basah, bubur ayam, or just mixed fruit and traditi...
It was the second time I was traveling to Yogyakarta and I repeated my stay. The owners are lovely. And they remembered my name! 😊The hotel is clean, large rooms, comfortable beds, hot shower, excellent breakfasts. You can rent motorcycles without problems and at a good price. They help you and inform you about the tourist routes you want to do. We were approached to ...
the great host ; mbak henny , pak eko and their sister mbak nani....our activity begin @ 4.30 am and mbak henny prepared for us pancake to brought along for early morning...the place is so clean managed by young couple...the breakfast was included and so delicious...we stayed for 5 night and surely will stay there again if I come to yogyakarta....surely recommended to ...
It was very great for 1 star hotel, or should I say 1 star guest house. Lovely room I got. It was a small compact beautiful room. It has clean and fine bathroom. The room was equipped with latest air conditioner and television. There is a small and lovely swimming pool. Overall, I recommended you to stay here when you go to Yogyakarta.
when I came, there were other people who stay/rent the hotel. I was very disappointed. Not recommended.
When we left this place, my boyfriend said 'That's the best hotel I've ever stayed at.' For the price, the room, facilities, food, staff, and services were all unbelievable. Especially the staff! They were so friendly and helpful. They booked taxis, rentals, drivers, tours, and a night at the Ramayana ballet for us! We couldn't believe how cheap it was to rent a motorb...
Couldnt expect for a better place with such affordable price!
What a budget friendly guest house! It's very close to my brother's wedding venue at UPN Auditorium Hall. I booked a room for 2 days stay for my in-laws. The staffs were very nice and friendly. The room was so compact, but clean and tidy. I felt uncomfortable with the semitransparent-glass bathroom door. The breakfast options were very limited, but i can tolerate in du...
We absolutely loved saying here! The woman who runs it is so sweet and helpful, she let us keep our bags there and hang out without booking a room when we did our overnight hike up Mount Merapi, which she also booked for us. The place is super clean and homey, free water refill and free tea, coffee and toast. There TVs, aircon, wifi and hot showers. You can pay 25,000 ...
I visited Yogyakarta last April with my best friend. It was a pleasure for two of us to stay here. The house is clean and neat. the staffs are really helpful & friendly. They serve hearty breakfast meals. Really feels like home. Anw, I had a allergy reaction during my trip in Yogyakarata & Mas Jaka help me to buy some medicines at the midnight! and they serve me hot gi...
I totally love this homestay! Everything are awesome..the room, the facilities, the staff are tip-top! The down part is the breakfast which is not that great but ok (anyway, love the tea though). Love the decoration & the homestay have a great ambience..suitable for couple or family to enjoy & relax especially after a long day. On our 2nd day the staff made a beautiful...
Good for utilising prior to leaving Yogyakarta. Catch Trans Jodja bus 1A to Airport terminal go through the Service Station opposite bus terminal, cross highway and it's down the side road on left. The couple run a Guest House for locals, nice breakfast, tidy, clean, only cold water for shower, but walking distance to Airport terminal.
I choose the family suite which is very cheap if you travel in group. Staff is very helpful. Only 1 bathroom have water heater. Cleanliness need to improve as I did the sweeping myself before I enter the room.
I stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights and was nice. Quiet place to rest after my tired days. Though there are only 3 rooms for rent and I was the only guest to stay at that time, but nothing worried about, unless you are a kind of person who's easy to get scared. The house guard is officially only one guy, but sometimes in the other day they have another people work...
Superb. Will coming back with family and friends. They only have 5 rooms and all rooms are clean and cozy. You will feel like you live in your own home, or you stay in a friend's or relative's house rather than in a bussiness establishment. Breakfast were nice and personal. You don't have a choice of menus but they will serve you Indonesian typical breakfast with cond...
Hotel was difficult to find in the dark. Didn't meet the real staff at arrival and departure. So never checked in and out. Nice bed, beautiful view on the ricefields. Snowy tv-channels, very noisy airconditioning in the bathroom. Didn't accept breakfast of white soft bread with coloured sweet jelly (jam/confiture). One of the 'staff' offered me to get Nasi G...
I found the hotel to be strategically located. It's within 15 minutes walk from the city center (Malioboro, the Palace, etc.), that if you can stand the heat of Yogyakarta. There ware various food stalls along the street, a very convenient alternative to more expensive restaurants. I really like the hotel architecture. You wouldn't believe that such a beautiful woode...
I arrived In Yogyakarta at another hotel. It was awful. After a couple hours of frustration I found this place on Agoda and booked it. I took a meter taxi near by, and walked around. It is hard to find. If you go past normal business hours it will be very tough. The night security did not speak any English and could not direct me over the phone. He also couldn't check ...
A friend recommended Omah Garuda Guest House and now I will recommend it to anyone visiting Jogja. The entire place is very clean & comfortable. The house is in a good location - quiet and peaceful but also within walking distance to food/coffee, shopping, etc. And best of all, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were very happy with the Borobudur/biking...
I would say I was totally impressed by Ipienk House. It started even before I reached Yogyakarta. Called the property a day before to ask for pick up at the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. What shocked me was I was picked up by a Mercedes Benz. The driver was helpful in giving suggestions of places to visit in Yogyakarta. Check in was fast with no ha...
The room is clean and nice, the staff was very kind and helpfull, and it's located not too far from jogja ring road (main highway) and bus station.
Zen peaceful environement, just for breakfast need some breads or cakes also milk
First time i booked a hostel in Yogyakarta and i I chose Wake up homestay. I was amazed by their service..and how the hostel is. The location not so far from Tugu station, malioboro, trans jogja and beringhajo market. The bed pillow n blanket so comfortable. They had nice bed bunk with 100% excellent privacy, clean bathrooms. The space between other beds were wide wher...
It's often the case that a guest house is just for budget traveling, we don't usually expect much from it but this one is more than whatever you expect. Most of all, the staffs were really impressive and do their job from the bottom of their heart. I was very touched by their service.
It was fantastic!!! Thanks you guys
Didnt expect that the guest house would be this comfy,, and the room is so clean look like 3rd star hotel for me and the price is cheap too,, thanks for the hospitality
the owner of the guest house is a very nice woman with lots of knowledge about the city and its surroundings. The rooms ar big with good beds and warm water showers.
We had a pleasant stay as the room price is cheap but comes with air cond! We didn't expect that hahaha. The staff was nice and helpful.
Not suitable for short visit
I do really enjoyed staying 3 nights at Rumah Panjaitan during in yogyakarta, it does Feels Like Home!! the hosts clearly so nice and helpful. Shout out to da free breakfast that help me and my friend getting ready before went out!! Thankyou Rumah Panjaitan :):)
This place is beyond my expectation. It's a very big house with many big and comfortable rooms. Each with towel and inside bathroom. Nice. Location near ringroad street. Easy to find. Staff very friendly and responsive. - breakfast. Just bread and jams. Overall it's nice with cheap price.
