"There were three of us traveling so we booked a triple room and were pleasantly surprised by the easy and swift check-in, friendly staff, and the size and space of the room itself. There was an extra bed in its own little area and the room as well as the hotel in general was clean, modern, and comfortable. The air conditioner unfortunately was a little on the slow side, even at high speed so it was a little too hot for our liking. The hotel is super convenient to the ferries at the port and the main bus station. It was a slightly longer walk to the center of the old town area where all the shopping and restaurants were, but only by a few minutes. Our favorite perk of this hotel is something that we usually try to make sure is included in all of our hotel stays. The breakfast!! Here at the Lato Boutique Hotel, it is one to be rivaled! Not only was it included, but it was one of the best in our travels in Greece, from the selection, the freshness and yogurt with thyme infused honey... One night was not enough time here."

"We booked this hotel near the ferry port as we arrived into Crete on a late flight and had an early morning ferry out to Santorini. The room was nice but basic. Very clean. Beds comfy. Staff very friendly on the 24 hour reception. The center of Hiraklion was a 15 minute walk and the ferry port was across the main road. Very handy for a stopover. Not for a week's holiday. "
