"Staff was nice to upgrade us to the Suite due to unavailability of the rooms we booked (due to season rush) - the room offered great view bridge connecting Taipa & Macau Tower with bay separating Taipa-Macau. Hotel location is on a hill (though not very tiring) and has short cut opening (follow left after getting out of hotel exit) to road to casinos & MGM grand (may take about 10-15mins easy walk). The hotel is far away from the hectic activities of the city - walking distance (expect a little tiring climb) to Penha church & further (slope) leading to A-Ma temple. Easy to catch buses at A-Ma temple to visit other popular locations. Macau City itself being small - location does not add to much of travel time."

"The hotel could be accessed thru public transport system from the Macau ferry, strategically located. Just a few walks is the Ponte 16, ruins of Saint Paul, and other attractions Macau has to offer. The hotel was brand new, just a few days away from its opening so you could still smell the varnish and paints, wifi still being installed, but not a big problem. Food kiosks are just around the corner with few steps away from the hotel. Staff were cool and friendly. "

"It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing"

"Very relaxing and enjoyable stay for our anniversary! It was my first time staying in Mandarin Oriental, Macau from 16 to 17 Aug 2015 and it was definitely a good choice. The hotel has the best location with excellent service. It is one of very few hotels which do not have casinos and this makes the hotel so exclusive and luxury. Stunning view of Macau Tower, the bridge and the lake. Very warm and welcoming staffs. The check-in process was done professionally and efficiently with a detailed explanation of the hotel facilities such as Vida Rica restaurant, Spa and fitness centre as well as room facilities. Room was very luxurious, comfortable and you will feel the Mandarin Oriental ambience. My husband is a coffee lover and the Nespresso coffee machine totally matched his need. For the room amenities, I am very impressed by the bath & body products which were so refreshing and beautifully fragranced. A wonderful first time experience and we look forward to staying in Mandarin Oriental, Macau again. "
