"This is my first experience both in booking with Agoda as well as staying in Hotel Lisboa. It was a very enjoyable booking and stay. My mum and I stayed there on the 10th & 11th of December on the 7th level (smoking floor). Although we tried to ask for non-smoking level, there wasn't any ready for us to check in straight. Since we checked in way before their supposedly check in timing, we are fine with any ready room. They were very sweet enough to give us upgraded room with nice view of Grand Lisboa. The room was spacious, nice couch, big flat screen tv, clean bathtub with massage shower, cute shampoo bottles that look like expensive perfume...etc. Their staffs from the receptionist to porter, from behind desk to over through phone calls, were friendly and patient. Location was perfect. Grand Lisboa at the side, Wynn and Star World just opposite. The famous egg tart is just two streets across and famous tourist attractions within walking distance (as long as you are willing to . Only two small cons. Our room wasn't really sound proof so if you wish to have a more quieter stay, maybe you can ask to be allocated to a quieter floor or maybe the last room in the corner? Also, because there are lots of big hotels and casinos around, there are lots of ladies raoming about the restaurant levels of Hotel Lisboa. Can be quite a sight but well, it didn't bother us too much though. On the whole, really enjoyed our stay!"

"It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing"

"I had booked a Deluxe City View and Wynn gave me a free upgrade. The room was the best room I have ever seen in my life. It's spotless clean, it's got all the amenities you can thing of and the view was simply breath taking. The front desk were really accommodating and acted like a real 5 star service reps. The location was central and you could walk to all of the surrounding hotels. Overall, I can't say a single bad thing about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel."

"i booked my room well in advance and hence got a good discount. i visited in the beginning of dec which is peak period, so better to do advance booking, or else the prices will shoot up when u go there. rooms are big, spacious, clean and well done up. there's a coffee/ tea maker, safe and a minibar. theres also a study table with some sofas (this is the deluxe room). the bathroom is open with just a glass door separating it from the room. theres a tub, weighing scale and some toiletries too. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone since the rooms are beautiful and the location is excellent. it is walking distance from wynn, mgm grand, senado square, the temple, the lotus statue and st.paul ruins. you only need to take a bus to venetian which is in taipa and there's nothing around taipa (so best not to stay here). the only sad part of the hotel is that it doesnt have a 24 hour coffee shop / 24 hour room service. so if u have an early morning flight, like i did, you gotta go without breakfast. also if you like to have a mid-nite snack, this option is not available in the hotel and the closest you'll have to walk is to wynn. mgm grand too doesnt host a 24 hour resto/ coffee shop. "The Grand Emperor Hotel was in a good location. A smaller casino hotel meant it was easy to access our rooms, the resturant and casino. The larger casino's were only a 5min walk away. Walking around this area of Macau was the best way to get around and enjoy the streets and alley's. We booked a Superior room, rooms large, king size bed, the blurb said included breakfast. Be aware - the Superior room booking included breakfast, the AGODA voucher said breakfast not included. Presenting for breakfast we were told it was not included. A quick email to AGODA and we were told it was at the hotels discretion. Not a good look, very disappointing. We contacted the other hotel we had booked that had breakfast included in the room type but not on the AGODA voucher and it was honoured without question, they actually found it strange we asked!!"

"This hotel would have been 5 stars maybe 20 years ago. The hotel is getting older but still not bad. I certainly would not pay 5 stars price. Majority of the staff are excellent except the receptionist. If you have plenty of money to burn in the casino they would treat you like a king. Eg i had some misunderstanding with Agoda regarding our booking, they suggested me to call Agoda directly (i had no phone at the time) that was not 5 star service. If you are looking for 5 Star hotel then you might want to keep your options open. Apart from that every thing was good."

"Honestly I was looking last minute for the cheapest room in Maccau (A place I have never been). I found this one for $72 USD a night. The cheapest. I was a bit worried it would be some flea bag hotel . I arrived in Maccau around midnight and grabbed a taxi. All free shuttles to hotels had already stopped. I asked a friendly Filipino janitor how much a cab should be to the Metropark Hotel. He told me the Taxi driver would ask 50 MOP but it should only be 30 or 35 MOP. Armed with that information I caught a taxi quite easily out front. The driver asked 100 MOP. Putting on my "shocked yet likable" face I told him I only had 50 MOP. He said we had two options: Go to the ATM or he could drop me off back at the airport. He had me so I said "Okay well I guess it is 100 then". On the way I made some light conversation saying it was my first trip to Maccau and how excited I was to be there. He only charged me 90 MOP. The room was fantastic! Just short of luxury. A+"

"Our room is located on the 16th floor of Presidente Hotel. One can get a clear view of neighbouring 5-star hotels such as MGM,Star World and Wyn Hotel. It is also within walking distance to Holiday Inn, Landmark Hotel, Lisboa and Grand Lisboa Casino and many good restaurants. We were able to use the free shuttle services provided by the 5-star hotels to get to most of the tourist attractions as well as to Fisherman's Wharf and Ferry Terminal. It is quite clear that anyone can hop in and out of these shuttle buses irrespective of whether you are their guest or not. The place is neither busy nor crowded and we feel very safe walking around even late at night. Most people there are decent looking and very helpful when we ask for information or direction. The taxi drivers that we encountered need to show more courtesy and patience. Overall we have a good stay and we are thankful to Agoda for giving us a good rate through advance booking."
