Hotels near Front Beach

It is a good option when you dont want to go to the beach for swimming because the sea is not so clean. It is opposite the Front beach, you cannot swim in the Front. But Seaside has a clean and nice swimming pool for you. The room is spacious and has a lovely balcony with a beautiful view, pretty good breakfast, friendly staff. I think with a price of around 1.1mil, it is the best option. But if the price is higher, i would consider Malibu. Anyway, thank you Seaside for a wonderful trip.

This is a great spot for travelers to the front beach area, not far from Saigon Ferry terminal and some good drinking holes. The rooms are a bit dated but for the price through Agoda very good. The pool is magnificent and gym has what the fitness fanatics would like. Breakfast is Asian and European so catering to all, dined here a couple of nights and very good food. Definitely staying here again. Staff fantastic.

We always stay at this hotel when we want to be in Bai Truoc (the front beach, where you cannot swim but have beautiful views of the ocean). Reception staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and the Deluxe rooms have amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast is excellent, especially now that they have replaced their brand of coffee. Ocean walk is across the street, parks and coffee shops nearby. Nice, large, clean swimming pool in the premises. Highly recommend and with the best prices in town!

We stayed 2 nigets in this hotel and had a great stay! It's an older hotel but everything works perfect. The style is quite charming in fact. The room is very spacious, we had a room room with swimming pool View, in my opinion the best option... The ones with sea views are more noisy because they have the boulevard in front. If you don't mind doing some stairs I would recommend tge rooms on the second floor. We cycled around in Vung Tau and came to the conclusion that this hotel has got the best location! It's fantastic to go to Front beach, especially in the morning; watch the fishermen and watch the people doing exercises. I love this city, so open and so clean♡

It is a nice 4-star hotel, located in a quite street but close to the front beach and many good restaurants. I booked two rooms and both were very clean, the staff was smiley all the time and very helpful. Breakfast was not so special but there were many kinds of food for us to choose. It's beyond our expectations and we will recommend it to our colleagues and friends.

Staff were efficient & courteous. Located right in town near Front Beach; traffic noise was insignificant and there are food options in town within walking distance. If you are into the beach scene, you would do better choosing a place at Back Beach. The breakfast spread is decent but location could be better ventilated; we encountered some mosquitoes there as well. The hotel facade looks colonial and there's a grand central staircase to access the second & third floor. The public areas may seem dark but the rooms are bright & spacious. We were concerned of noise from the in-house casino but got allocated a room far from the casino and noise wasn't an issue. The only let-down was the cancellation of the weekend buffet due to wet weather; this should have been communicated to guests earlier or better yet, planned so that weather does not impact it too much in the future.

Benefits of staying on front beach are proximity to ferry terminal, you can walk to hotel in 10 minutes , and you are close to restaurants and other things in Vung Tau town. Hotel has 3 sections, the reception building has the restaurant, which is fine, and is a brisk walk from street, but they have a golf cart to transport you up and down. Pool is great , located near bottom of property, very small fitness room, but Ill take the pool any time. Place is spotless and they clean your room every morning. Breakfast is very Vietnamese, but they have omlettes, fruit, bread and strong coffee. Bathrooms in main building are modern and rooms with balconies have great view of front beach area. You are quiet yet close enough to things. Renting a scooter at front desk helps with the hill. Great place.

From speaking with other travellers, this hotel was the best value for money. It was located at front beach (back beach is a little more popular) but we found this a bonus. The hotel itself is quite old but kept clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The pool that is advertised actually belongs to the Rex Hotel next door but we had free access to it as long as we took a voucher from Royal Hotel reception.

I used Agoda to book a room at Pacific Hotel (a budget hotel), located in Vung Tau, Vietnam. After spending three nights and four days at Pacific Hotel, I have mixed impression. The superior twin room that I dwelled-in was very clean and was much larger than other superior twins at other budget hotels (about thirty-five squared meters), while the air-conditioned unit was strong enough to cool the airy room. The toilet was another matter. It required about thirty minutes between flushes (i.e. to fill the entire tank with water), while, overall, the bathroom lacked sufficient complimentary soap and shampoo. However, since the hotel is centrally located next to a popular public park and a populous beach (both are located in Front Beach, near the hydrofoil station, while the greyhound racetrack is nearby, and multitude of bars and food stalls abound), together with clean spacious rooms, I still recommend Pacific Hotel.

The Lam Son is located on a side street very close the the front beach. Upon arrival I was greeted and check-in quick and easy. The "deluxe" room I had, had a large flat screen tv, air conditioning, refrigerator, desk, comfortable double bed and seating area. I had a good night sleep and the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The only negative was no hot water, although not a big problem with the hot temperature.

Breakfast limited in choice - only Vietnmese food - but I found it excellent, especially the soup. (Ideal bistro next door, if hotel choice inadequate) This hotel is central to bars, restaurants etc, but situated in a nice quiet street. Walking distance from the ferry terminal - about 10 minutes, 3 minutes from front beach. The main bathing/wind surfing beach, the back beach, is a 30,000/40,000 motorbike taxi away.....or a healthy 25 minute walk.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel as a couple getting away from HCMC for vacation. Compared to other hotels we've stayed at in the price range, this was in-line with what you'd expect on the whole, a bit nicer in some ways, a bit worse in others. It's a local hotel, so don't expect to see Westerners there. First, the room itself was fairly spacious I thought. Decor and nice lighting are NOT things you'll get. It had a very large window that took up nearly an entire wall, and which let in a large amount of natural light, and fresh sea air if opened. The drapes didn't block much light, though, so bring an eye mask if you don't feel like waking up at 6 AM (and earplugs due to the guard dog barking at the sun). The beds were free of pests, and the bedding was clean, though a bit ragged and ill-fitting for the mattress. The beds were also very comfortable and soft, a welcomed surprise. The TV had a decent selection of channels. The AC worked well. There was plenty of hot water. There was a mini fridge, a closet, some chairs, and a small table. Decent WIFI also was present in-room. The staff was nice and we had no problems with them. Payment was accurate and professional (we stayed 2 nights past the Agoda booking and were charged appropriately). A big con, however, was the security. Not only did the door only have a basic, easily-picked handle lock, but that lock didn't even work! The hotel seemed safe enough, as did the area, but still that's a big oversight. Deadbolts should be the norm for hotels, but here there was nothing keeping people out of our room. That said, no one did come in. Also, there was a safe downstairs we could use to store valuables in. The area was quiet, near the mountain, so fairly green and shaded, and close to some Western restaurants and one of the beaches. A bit of a walk to the main beach, though, but still I enjoyed it.
