I confused when I touch down airport. Luckily the tourist information counter guide me to check with Tops Holiday counter, they will arrange free shuttle bus send you to the hotel. The Tops Holiday tour counter just right end at the exit gate there. However it charge HKD24 per person when you want the hotel arrange shuttle service to airport. It has a casino in the hotel, hence I though it is suitable for non-gambling guest, but I was wrong. It is a standard 5-stars hotel, but not a luxury 5-stars. It cater many tour groups, hence I had a bad experience when waiting the lift go up together with a tour group who just checked in, it only 3 lifts at the lobby and it’s super slow… The check in process took some time, however they are willing to arrange the best room to adapt your requirement, such as non-smoking room, king size bed room, nice city view or so on. If you can walk, Lisboa casino and Ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral is within walking distance. Otherwise, take bus is convenience. The hotel is located small road, but got public bus serve in that line, otherwise passby the garden infront further down is a main road, many bus lines serving there. On the other hand, the hotel does provide shuttle bus to Lisboa casino. The garden opposite is Vasco da Gama Munument, feel nothing just a normal garden with a monument, walk further got a souvenir store. A side got 7-11 convenient store and few local restaurants, the taste not bad and not that expensive.

I would definately stay at this hotel again. I like to play Texas Hold'em and Poker Stars opened a great poker room at the "grand" Lisboa Casino. you need to just cross a footbridge to there, no need to go outside, 1 minute walk. better set up than at the Wynn. The room was clean, and modern. I had a morning flight, and i couldn't check in until 2 pm, but there was a concierge for my luggage, and lots of things to distract me while i waited. I will come back to this hotel again, and if the difference is only $20 stay here. 2 minute walk to the Wynn Casino and it's fountain show. and 1 minute walk to any bus to take you anywhere. I was winning at the Casino and tried to find a great dinner, but the restaurants i found didn't know how to make a steak and salad. Just next time venture outside for dinner. I didn;t try the room service food, so for that i can't say.

Location - The hotel is conveniently located near the Macau Ferry Terminal where you can ride hotel shuttle services going to The Parisian, The Venetian, Grand Lisboa (close to St. Paul’s Ruins), etc. The hotel also offers a shuttle service but you can easily walk from/to the terminal. Location is perfect too if you want a breather from a very busy job and city life since it’s quiet and not too crowded. Nice and clean room - I loved the European feel and sophisticated design of our room! We also got a free room upgrade and we were given a room overseeing the wharf (special thanks to the Filipino guy in the Reception). Friendly Filipino staffs - It’s really nice to meet our “kababayans” wherever we go. Based on experience, those working for this hotel are friendly, very polite and accomodating. I will definitely go back. 👍🏻

My first impression of this hotel was not positive. I waited for the free shuttle bus at the Ferry Terminal for over 30 minutes but it never came. So I just hopped onto the shuttle bus to the Landmark, which is located just around the corner from the Emperor Hotel. I got a deluxe room (16th and 17th floors of the hotel), which was spacious and clean. It was definitely a step-up from my hotel in central Hong Kong. Amenities included free internet (wired), two complimentary bottles of water, toiletries such as shampoo/body lotion/body wash/toothbrush/shower cap, etc. Loved the glass doors and transparent fuschia curtains to the bathroom, but if you are traveling with someone other than your significant other, you might consider staying at another hotel. The hotel is conveniently situated on Macau Peninsula, within walking distance of the Wynn, Grand Lisboa, and Lisboa Casinos. It is also right around the corner from the Landmark shopping & entertainment center.

This 5 star hotel is part of the Sofitel group. The brand will give you all the confidence. The hotel is situated a little way outside the glitzy strip, although it only takes 5 min to walk to the new Grand Lisboa. We paid a little extra and upgraded to the Executive Floor, with our breakfast, afternoon, drinks and canape served in the lounge on the 16th floor, which commands a fantastic view over Macau. The extra is well worthy the money. The room is very nicely appointed with super soft pillows and comfortable mattress. The blinds are eletric-operated which is a nice touch. The bathroom is again super-deluxe using Hermes toillery. There is even a tv screen over the bath. There is a screen which you can choose to open or close between the bathroom and the room depending how much privacy you want while in the bathroom. Super thick bathrobes are provided. The room has the usual iron ironing board safe tea and coffee making and complimentary bottled water.

we stayed for 3 nights and totally enjoyed our stay here. the hotel is near the grand lisboa casino, so we took the casino's free shuttle from the ferry terminal and walked from the casino to sintra hotel. the rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. the hotel is within walking distance to senado square and the main heritage walk (including st paul's ruins). there are lots of food places along the main road on the way to senado square. we could also walked to the bus stop where we were able to take the bus to most places in macau and taipa/coloane.

Wifi was not working when i was there. stayed in a triple room, everything was okay and acceptable just that the place is quite old. after checking in, i found the fasters and easiest way for me to get around. From the hotel, take bus 9/9A to bus stop M168. from the bus stop, cross the road to grand lisboa. from there you can cross over to grand emperor hotel and take shuttle bus to city of dream and walk to Venetian. to return to hotel, go back to grand lisboa, take bus 9/9A from the bus stop directly outside grand lisboa and alight at M84

The hotel is very near to the custom/border to Zhu Hai, around 5-10mins walking. It's very convenient to go everywhere, because the bus terminal is at underground/beside of the custom. Also a lot of Free casino/hotel shuttle bus nearby. Looking for restaurant shouldnt be any problem too. If boring at night, you can go to the arcade center which beside the hotel, but smelly.

The hotel's location is absolutely amazing. It's walking distance from the Ruins of St Paul and Senado Square. On your way to these landmarks you'll see lots of shops and restaurants in Senado Square which you can eat at, including there famous Portuguese tarts and pork bun. Not only that it's also walking distance from Grand Lisboa Casino, Lisboa Casino, Wynn Macau Casino, Starworld Casino, MGM Casino and many more. You can practically walk to all these casinos without sending a single cent on transport (trust me my friend and I went to all the above places in a day without catching a single transport). Then if you want to go to the other casinos further down in Macau, I would suggest you to look on some of the casinos websites and see what free shuttle buses they offer to other casinos. We found that you can catch a free shuttle bus from Star world casino to Galaxy Macau casino, which you can then probably walk to Venetian Macau. So you can probably find a way to travel to all the big casinos without catching a single transport. The hotel is pretty decent for the price you pay, you definitely can't complain. The room is clean and comes with most toiletries, even toothbrush and a small toothpaste. My friend and I were worried about the Wi-Fi because everyone complained about it, but we absolutely had no problems with the Wi-Fi at all. The place is also walking distance away from shops and food so you don't have worry about that. Finally the hotel is really convenient to get to/from Macau ferry Terminal. You can catch buses 10, 10A, 3 and probably others (but that's all we know from our experience) from a bus stop that's like a 5 min walk to from the hotel. Public transport is also really cheap there. This is definitely a hotel we would go back to because it's so convenient and cheap. So if you're on a budget, we would strongly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is definitely one of the most grand hotels that we have stayed. The quality of service from the staff is great. They go the extra miles to ensure their guest received the best service and help to resolve their problems (for my case is the ferry tickets back to Hong Kong). Also love the restaurants! The quality of the food is beyond words. The only negative experience that I have is the hotel ferry transportation service. WHen i arrived at the Macau Ferry terminal, the Grand Lisboa bus drivers refuse to let us board the bus because we have luggages.In the end, we need to take a cab to the hotel by ourselves. Only at the hotel, the staff mentioned that there are actually 2 types of Grand Lisboa buses. This misunderstanding could have been easy avoided if the driver directed us to the "correct" bus to the Grand Lisboa hotel.

Hotel east to find if you use google map and have hotel's chinese name so you can ask for direction to local Towns Well Hotel 鎮興旅館 (Zhèn xìng lǚguǎn) No 6-6A Calcada das Verdades, Macau City 板障堂街哪咤廟斜巷6至6A號, 澳门市 (Bǎn zhàng táng jiē nǎ zhà miào xié xiàng 6 zhì 6A hào, Àomén shì) Hotel location was near Ruins of St Paul, senado square, lisboa casino. Quite hard to find restaurant here, except you want to eat at hotel's restaurant or Mcd. Location quite good for shoppers, a lot of international brand store arround this hotel, for example : esprit, ecco, nine west, bossini, giordano, sasa, etc Good english speaking and helpfull staff, hotel have vending machine for drink and local sim card.

The rooms in the hotel were fantastic. Not only were they spotless and beautiful, they were also equipped with automatic curtains, and also a TV that rises from a table automatically. Many of the rooms offer fantastic views of the ocean as well, perfect for sunrises as the ocean view faces east. The service was faultless, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Duty Manager on the day, Tom Jordan, personally escorted me to the room and explained its functions, which was a perfect display of 5-Star service. Located conveniently close to the ferry terminal as well and some casinos are within walking distance as well. Would definitely return and would certainly recommend.

This is a great stay, the hotel staff have been very helpful and polite. They are not overly friendly but they are all very willing and able to help. We got connecting rooms, for the price of RM 370/room, it is a big room, with a chic coffee machine, and great view outside the window, can see Grand Lisboa, and tiny St Paul at night and there is great sea view at the other side, very relaxing! The location is unbeatable, walking distance to St Paul, the souvenir street, Senado Sq, Ama Temple, the famous A Lorcha portugese restaurant (next to Ama Temple) are within walking distance (or take a bus just that we feel bus is very cramp). If you want to go to fisherman's wharf area (Lisboa, Wynn etc), just walk few minutes to Ponte 16 Sofitel and board their free shuttle bus, very efficient. If you want to go to Venetian, Galaxy side, just take Ponte 16 Sofitel free shuttle to fisherman's wharf jetty, and change to Venetian etc free shuttle, very frequent and fast, 20mins can reach Venetian from there. If you want to go to the Rua do Cunha (Gun Ya) Street, Galaxy bus is nearer. Better avoid Macau Taxi, they tend to over charge by taking longer route, wasting time too. For my time, until 31-Dec-2015, there is birthday promo for Cotai Jet Ferry from HK to Macau, it is 25% off for Birthday Person + 1 guest. And there is another WeChat promo 20% off. But this will drop you at the Jetty near airport (Venetian area), but just take bus to Venetian and then switch to bus to Fisherman Wharf Jetty and take Ponte 16 shuttle and then walk short distance. We took the normal bus (forgot the number) as advised by the Tourist Information, it took us freaking 1 hour 20 mins, because of all the stops and longer indirect route.

Fabulous luxurious accommodation at a very reasonable price. To our regret we spent only one night at there. Every detail of the décor in this hotel was done with great taste and passion. Our room was spacious, the balcony had a table and arm-chairs. Stunning view to the harbour. It was so quiet, nice and cozy with special character in comparison with other modern casino hotels in Macau. Breakfast was so-so , though dinner was delicious. If we have a chance we would love to come and stay with you again.

Our room is located on the 16th floor of Presidente Hotel. One can get a clear view of neighbouring 5-star hotels such as MGM,Star World and Wyn Hotel. It is also within walking distance to Holiday Inn, Landmark Hotel, Lisboa and Grand Lisboa Casino and many good restaurants. We were able to use the free shuttle services provided by the 5-star hotels to get to most of the tourist attractions as well as to Fisherman's Wharf and Ferry Terminal. It is quite clear that anyone can hop in and out of these shuttle buses irrespective of whether you are their guest or not. The place is neither busy nor crowded and we feel very safe walking around even late at night. Most people there are decent looking and very helpful when we ask for information or direction. The taxi drivers that we encountered need to show more courtesy and patience. Overall we have a good stay and we are thankful to Agoda for giving us a good rate through advance booking.

I booked 2 rooms. Requested for adjoining room but they couldn't arrange for us because we check in before 3pm. However, they arranged our room on the same floor and it's only two doors next. Good enough for me. Beds are big, can accomodate two adults with two types of pillow: soft and firm pillow provided. The hotel is within walking distance to grand lisboa. To Ruin's of St. Pauls need at least 15 minutes walk. If you are bringing elderly like me, I suggest to hail a taxi. Taxi fees around MOP30. Restaurants around the hotel are all cooking spicy dishes. This hotel doesn't provide shuttle bus to the airport but to the ferry terminal. From hotel to macau airport is around 15 mins.

extremely good location. 10 minutes taxi ride to anywhere in downtown macau and all other attractions. 15 minutes ride to airport, provided traffic is good. many other casinos and hotels within the vicinity such as wynn, grand lisboa, etc. casino is massive and if you do manage to get bored, head across the street to wynn. hotel also provides bus services to the china border, airport and ferry terminal. room service was excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We walked from the ferry terminal, although a little awkard crossing the road and going up and down the stairs it was only 10 mins. There is a hotel shuttle if you want to wait for it. Hotel check in was quick and easy and our std twin non smoking room was big, clean and quite nice. Location is great easy walk to other big casino hotels, Sands, Starwood, Wynns, MGM and Grand Lisboa. Great value hotel compared to the larger hotels.

The standard single room which I stay for 5 nights is rather small, but the bed is large enough for myself and the cleanliness of the room is superb, fully equipped with amenities, kettle, hair dryer etc. They clean the room every morning Aircon works well and there's English Channel on tv that I can watch everyday. The drawer big enough to hang our clothes This hotel is very near to various ancient landmarks of Macao, easy to go by bus to every direction. The only complain I have is a cleaning service lady with short hair who is very rude , the rest are very friendly. Overall, I'm fully satisfied staying in this hotel! From the airport you can take bus #MT1 and stop at Freirra Amaral in front of Grand Lisboa Casino. From there then take bus #7 stop at Kiang Wu Hospital (5 stops from Freirra Amaral) then walk about 3 minutes to McDonald's and the Holiday Hotel is very near to Super market 711. On the way back to the airport you have to go to the bus stop in front of Post Office (10 minutes walk from the hotel) then take either bus number 8, 9, 9B, 12, 22, 25, 25B (only 3 stops) to Freirra Amaral. From there you must take bus number MT1 to Macao International Airport. Please take note, bus #MT1 only available every 20 minutes from 07:00 am.

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.
