Arrived at hotel during Macau Grand Prix week. Expecting the place to be frantic it was as usual calm and professional. The reception staff are a dream to deal with especially when I had forgotten my voucher. No problem Sir was the answer as he took me to the business centre to log on to my web site email and print off my voucher. My last visit I was upgraded to an executive room but this time no such luck, better luck next time. Breakfast was the usual good selection of east and west food with as always smiling staff. It is one of my favourite hotels in Macau.

The price is affordable for a 4 star hotel. There are small casino in the hotel itself. However, it is located slightly further from the city centre. You may need to take a 5 mins walk to access the public transport across the road in front of the hotel. There are shuttle bus to the jetty which provided convenient to the guest. Overall is satisfactory. We enjoyed our stay here as the room is spacious and the design looks grand.

This Hotel was located at Gonzaga and it's very near to some attractions such as Wine Museum, Grand Prix Museum, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. There are 3 Bus Stops around the hotel. 2 stops are just right in front of the hotel and another 1 is just behind the Hotel. So, it's pretty easier to get access to any bus routes and to anywhere you want from these bus stops. Hotel Staffs Performance are very good and the procedure to check in and out is very well managed. Hotel Wifi is fast enough and it's only for Hotel Guest. This Hotel also has a 24 hours casino if you wish to play some game anytime. Pros: Location, Staffs Performance, Cleanliness, Room Standard, Every Floor has Security Guard to walk around, New Renovated Hotel. Cons: Too less seats in the lobby, Waiting in the Long Queue at the Lobby to Check In and Out.

it was the best experience ever. after having been to usa hostel its so refreshing to finally be in a hotel which is very nice and accomodating. it is everything you would ask of a hotel, nice room, nice shower, internet, cable tv and good airconditioning. i would love to comeback to this hotel when i comeback to macau. its near some of the tourist spot like grand prix museum and lotus monument i think or that is what i call it. you can just walk and you can be near the place you would want to be. i like the food near the hotel authentic chinese food for a cheap price. it is one of the best experiences ive had in all of my travel. value for your money.

We were luckily upgraded to a suite with access to the club lounge. Thanks so much for the delicated services provided by the team of Club Millesime, including Victor and Princess. We can enjoy unlimited serving of drinks and wine, afternoon tea set and delicious refreshments in specific time slot. Everything was great especially the special room decoration and gift from the hotel, that was macaron and chocolate, it was just too heartwarming as this was our pre-wedding celebration. Few types of pillows and bath products are complimentary for guest to use. Coincidentally there was a firework show in the harbour on that night, which we can see part of it in our room! Thanks again to Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 for giving me a memorable stay in Macau.

Good location, at 5' from the Ferry Terminal and next to Sands Macau Hotel. The swimming pool was excelent, like a resort pool. It also includes a nice slides!!!! The Grand Prix and Wine Museums were very close. Rooms were very spacious and confortable, with all the amenities and with the ironing and board. The staff very attentive and very polite. The cleaning staff also very polite!!!

It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing

the hotel is located at the heart of the city, very accessible to the most tourist spots and shuttle buses, grand lisboa is just a couple of steps away. you may actually ride the shuttle of lisboa from the airport and then just walk to from there to this hotel. though the hotel doesnt have a shuttle going back to the airport, the bellboy can always call a taxi for you. the shuttle going to the city of dreams park beside the the hotel! walking distance to wynn hotel, mgm hotel, senado square, sait paul ruins, st dominque church, macau museum and other tourist spots at the area. just a ride going to the ferry terminal and from the ferry terminal going to the fisherman's wraft, sands casino, venetian, and other locations. The hotel is clean and the staff where very nice. we havent tasted the food though because we where busy walking around the city and there are a lot of food around the area.

Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed Caravel hotel. I love the luxurious feel of the sheets n pillows. It’s like you’re in a 5 star hotel. L’ Occitane shampoo, conditioner., bath gel are a nice touch. I love that there are lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, also. There’s a blow dryer also hidden in the closet drawer where the safe is. The room is small but it’s plenty for a couple. Love the hot cocoa machine. n they have a coffee machine also.. It was a nice walk to sightseeing locations! Bring your comfy shoes.

I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

The hotel is excellent. Very friendly staff;large,comfortable and clean rooms; and have an amazingly artistic boutique design and architecture (Which looks more of a typical Parisian hotel.) The buffet breakfast is also very good. There is a park outside with playgrounds for children and adults. (Actually there are actually plenty of parks in the whole Macau) It's the best place in main Macau It's located on the Historic Centre of Macau. All you gotta do is walk and see all of the old building, churches and all of the culture, history and art of Macau There are also the museums and old office buildings. There are also plenty shops all around these old buildings selling all types of items from luxury clothes to food. (There are plenty of shops selling Macanese delicacies giving free samples. There are also convenience stores and markets. The street food is superb. It is best to walk to walk aound as there is something interesting or attraction every few hundred metres which you would miss if you're public transport. (Take Public Public transport only wwhen goiung to the casinos in the Venetian area or airport.) Internet connectivity is fair

This hotel is definitely one of the most grand hotels that we have stayed. The quality of service from the staff is great. They go the extra miles to ensure their guest received the best service and help to resolve their problems (for my case is the ferry tickets back to Hong Kong). Also love the restaurants! The quality of the food is beyond words. The only negative experience that I have is the hotel ferry transportation service. WHen i arrived at the Macau Ferry terminal, the Grand Lisboa bus drivers refuse to let us board the bus because we have luggages.In the end, we need to take a cab to the hotel by ourselves. Only at the hotel, the staff mentioned that there are actually 2 types of Grand Lisboa buses. This misunderstanding could have been easy avoided if the driver directed us to the "correct" bus to the Grand Lisboa hotel.

We stayed for 2 days at Towns Well Hotel and booked 2 rooms. We arrived late at night and found the rooms set-up and ready. With directions found in the internet, we were able to easily locate the hotel. The hotel staff were pleasant to talk to and very accommodating. Luckily the guy at the reception spoke in English and Filipino. Location is the hotel's best-selling feature. We went to Senado Square early in the morning to take pictures and just went back to sleep again....no tourists yet :) Special kudos to the hotel restaurant. It was very late in the evening and we were hungry....with no restaurants open, we tried the hotel. They were just about to close but still accommodated us. The restaurant manager did not speak English but he made sure to call someone who can get our orders. Overall a great stay.....will definitely stay here again.

I checked in there at Jan 22 2013, we are two. Actually its not located at Rua da Felicidade 43-45 -as written my agoda booking receipt-, but its located at the next block; Rua de Caldeira. Strategic location. It is very near from historical tourism place in Macau such as Senado Square, Macau Museum, Ruins of St. Paul Church, etc. If you want to go to Wynn or Grand Lisboa, you can reach there by bus, 10 minutes from this hotel. I think its hard to find backpacker hotel in Macau as comfort as this hotel. The price was a bit higher than others backpacker hostel, but its worth because of good service and very comfort room we've got.

Hotel location is very convenient, can reach by public bus from HK-Macau pier, just stop at Old Opium House (yellow color building), hotel is just behind it. Walking distance to most of the tourist attractions in Macau old town. Front desk staffs are generally warm and helpful. We Stayed for 3 nights, There are many extra freebies in the room, like the handy phone, the mini nespresso machine and the free drinks in the mini fridge. For a 3 star hotel, I couldn't ask for more. Recommend for those who go Macau for sightseeing, food, Grand Prix visitors etc. If your main focus ison UNESCO sites, this hotel is worth to be consider to stay.

Even though we just stay for one night we find the hotel up to standard with extra comfortable bed and a view of the harbour from its balcony. It has a quiet atmosphere and cozy feeling. It is also conveniently located near the Art Museum of Macau (just crossing the road) and its location inside the Fisherman's Wharf gives easy access to the many restaurants and shops there. This nice boutique hotel would be ideal also for honeymooners.

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

The hotel is centrally located within 10 minutes by shuttle bus/taxi from the Hong Kong/Macau ferry terminal. The hotel overlooks the road where the annual Macau Grand Prix is held and if you are there at the correct time, you have a bird's eye view of the races. Just ask for rooms with sea view. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and the service staff friendly and polite. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus service to the ferry terminal leaving the hotel at the hour and half past the hour and from the terminal at 15 & 45 minutes past the hour.

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

In haste and on the cheap, I booked this hotel on the fly, as a day trip from Macau. I was amazed at how well appointed it was. It was not the cramped motel cheepo place I was expecting at all, but quite a beautiful hotel. A large clean and spacious lobby with a staff that was beyond courteous awaited us at check in. Upon check –in there was a bit of difficulty finding my reservation (probably due to my last minute booking with Orbitz) but they were very gracious as they pleaded for my patience. I was treated like royalty and tended to in every respectable way. The concierge and managers spoke English very good and were a considerable help in getting around and getting cabs for us to take us to any destination. I would like to thank and commend the management, and especially Sara who made getting our New Year sightseeing around Zhuhai fantastic. They were all very understandable and we were able to explore the town a little more boldly as a result. I never felt as though I was on my own, lost or out of luck as long as I had the hotel key and concierge business card. As soon as I showed it to any cab driver they knew exactly what to do. I can only describe the staff in general as gracious, courteous, respectful and eager to please. The executive room was about as large as a Manhattan loft and clean and included the following; a nice big DLP TV with remote, a huge king size bed, large work table, dual air controllers, spacious bathroom with large shower room and tub room, modern toilets, 2 spacious closets, a safe, robes, umbrellas, flashlight and emergency evac hood with oxygen (just in case) Spartan but functional mini bar, complimentary bottled water, toiletries including toothbrushes and combs as well as soaps and shampoos. About 10 minutes after arrival a call from the front desk asking if everything was to my liking. I also recommend the laundry if you need. It is very affordable and efficient.

Staff are very helpful (especially Jenn) which makes stay better always in any hotel. Room is enough spacious, clean and comfortable. The best part is Free Phone facility with internet and international calls. Take 26 or MT4 from airport with MOP6 to get down just in front of the hotel. walkable distance to many tourist attractions like Sedano sqaure, A-Ma Temple, Macao Museum, Ruins of St. Paul's, etc. All the bus routes are accessible for here.

We went to check in early but need to wait until 3pm to check in into the Grand Suite. We went to the buffet which cost 418++ and the food is just excellent. Worth the price as the seafood, Chinese food and the variety spoilt our choices and I filled every bit of space in my stomach. When we went back to the receptionist at 4.30 pm, they made a mistake and told me that our room is not ready. My wife was frustrated but the staff was quick to make amendments and gave us a free 1 room super suite upgrade at level 24. The room is the best we could every imagine and it is too luxurious for only both of us. The amenities inside made us speechless and the view made us awake and would not want to sleep. They provide the corner unit which we had the maximum view. We have complimentary soft drinks in the fridge and we could not ask for more. Lastly, the conceirge staff is the best as she recommended us the right place to visit and help to provide all relevant details to book the turbojet back to HK. Thumbs up !

the hotel itself was worth the hefty price tag - splurge and enjoy yourself in one of their suites. we took the ferry from hong kong to the cotai strip (per recommendation from hotel conceirge in hong kong) to avoid longer immigration lines at the main maccau ferry terminal. we then grabbed the wynn shuttle. great because it was free, but they just dropped us off with our luggage at the stairs of the casino with no directions as to where to check in and, as you know, casinos don't have the most straight foward layouts. they could have provided better service then having us trapse around with our bags. only other issue was that at the time of booking, they said we could book our ferry trip to hk international airport once we arrive at the hotel...great except that they were already completely booked for our preferred time and had to spend 4 extra hours at the airport. i was not happy! turns out the grand prix was the same weekend of our stay, but no warning was given to us to book in advance.

We don't usually stay that long in this hotel but the only good side of it is the location. It's near the Ruins and going down you'll reach Senado. Also, there's a cheap food shop around this hotel. 7-11, Filipino Store, Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut and a grocery store. If you're booking this hotel please take note of these tips: - Upon arrival in Macau, take a FREE SHUTTLE BUS going to Grand Lisboa(SJMExpress). We didn't spend any patacca in Macau for our bus transportation. We availed all the free shuttle bus. - When you reach Grand Lisboa, you can walk going to Holiday Hotel and reach there around 10-15minutes. But if you choose to take a public bus, take the Bus 7, 8 or 17 and get off HOSPITAL KIANG WU or bus stop before the hospital. Be ready with your coins-6 MOP (adult) or 3 MOP (child) for bus ride. They won't give you a change so make sure you pay exact amount. Use your google maps. It's so helpful! - You can leave your bags in the reception if you still have a lot of time before your flight for free! The only downside of this hotel is their facilities. It's a bit old but as far as I an remember they are in major renovation right now. So don't expect too much!

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.
