My family enjoyed our stay in this hotel. In my opinion, this is better than most hotels we've stayed at. The rooms are nice and clean. All the hotel staff (front desk, concierge and bell hop) were very helpful and accommodating. The location is also good. The hotel site is not a very busy area which I like. You just need to take short walks (10-15 mins) to see tourist attractions, e.g. The Ruins of St. Paul, Senado Square and Guia Fortress. The hotel also provides free shuttle service for added convenience to their guests. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Macau.

We had a great time at hotel lisboa. it's conveniently located at the heart of the city, just a walking distance to senado square, guia fortress, ruins of st. paul, etc. The staff are very nice. The drinks from the mini bar are free and replenished everyday as long as you don't take it outside the room or you will be charged. Likewise, all the stuff in the room including the umbrella and bathrobes may br taken home as long as you ask permission from the housekeeping department for they are under the custody of the housekeeper. You will need to deposit 1000 mop as security upon checkin but they are very lenient, they didn't even check the room when we checked out. they immediately gave back our 1000mop. check out time is at 12nn but we were allowed to stay until 3pm because our flight is at 8pm.

I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview!

The Rio Hotel and Casino proved to be an excellent choice for my fiancee and I. We stayed from the 25th to 29th October 2018. The reception area is impressive and provides a good first impression. I had booked a Deluxe room with daily breakfast and were told upon checking in that we had been allocated an extra large room. The combined area of the lounge/sleeping/bathroom area was huge, ( as big as an average 2 bedroom flat in Australia ) I was happy with the location of the Hotel as it was central to many of Macaus attactions ( almost at the base of Guia Lighthouse ) but not surrounded by other Hotels. There is gambling in the Hotel but we were there for the historic buildings, gardens and temples so I can not report on the gambling activities. On the 2 occasions I used the rooftop swimming pool in the late afternoon I had the facility to myself.

After a hectic day of sightseeing in the World Heritage listed Guia Fortress/Lighthouse and the Historic Centre of Macau, this hotel is what we are looking for to relax and refresh ourselves. Everything is taken care of, toothbrush & paste free bottled water and a nice city view overlooking the distant Guia Fortress/Lighthouse and the old section of the city. From the time we stepped into our room, there is a stand for my winter jacket with a drawer to unload my wallet and keys. Well thought out

Hello, Given the fact we booked last minute and didn't want to spend too much we ended up in the Grand Lapa after taking an online promotion. We had a very good surprise and my kids (4 and 6 years old) wanted to stay longer than the 2 nights we booked for the week-end. It certainly used to be a top 5 stars Hotel but it's ageing now and even though it is still very good you can see it is not all renovated and modern. Pros: - "Old hotel" means pretty spacious bedroom and bathroom which is a plus for us. - Dated but everything was very clean - Heated outside swimming pool with a slide for the kids (even if heated pool, in November you don't stay 2h00 in the water as it gets chilly after 30-45 minutes). - Friendly staff - Nice garden and playroom (though a bit old too) that the kids loved - Close to the Fisherman's Wharf so you can go walking and the kids loved walking there - Taxi available quite easily in front of the hotel - Old downtown Macau and Largo do Senado can be reached walking (but take between 20-30 minutes with the kids). If you take a taxi it literally takes lass than 5 minutes. Cons: - Not too many restaurant close by (but you have 2 or 3 inside the hotel) - You have to cross a public place (but no road) behind the hotel to access the spa/swimming pool, gardens and playroom. It's not really a cons but it's not quick to go back to your room if you forgot something. If you are looking for luxury and last modern commodity, it might not suit you. We are usually staying at 3 star hotels so an old 5 stars hotel was just a perfect stay for us. We would definitely recommend it and would go back again if we have the occasion.

It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing

it was our first time to use this hotel. my friends and i travelled for recreation - 3 days, 2 nights. though it was not my first time in macau, it was the first time of my friends. we booked our reservation 3 months in. we emailed all the special requests as well. all our requests were accommodated - non smoking floor, extra bed and separate beds (instead of king). we booked 2 rooms for 5 people. we paid 288 mop per night for the extra bed. the extra bed was comfortable and not hard at all. we called the day before to inform the hotel that we were checking in late. we arrived at 10 pm and all the rooms were ready to the specification we asked. the front desk was very helpful. the staff good speak english well and were very accommodating. it was a plus that the doorman and security guards were friendly - they gave us tips on where to eat and which bus to take to get around the city. the housekeepers, though had limited english, were very friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean, sheets were clean and the toilet was clean as well. this was a very good hotel for a 3 start rating. best of all, the location was excellent. less than 5 minutes walking distance to senado square. in front of the hotel was a free shuttle bus to city of dreams. it was also 20-25 minutes walk to guia fort and fisherman's wharf. hotel was not noisy as there was no casino - a plus for us. i would definitely recommend this hotel and will keep using it. very good! i wish that they could have free wifi in the future :)

Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed Caravel hotel. I love the luxurious feel of the sheets n pillows. It’s like you’re in a 5 star hotel. L’ Occitane shampoo, conditioner., bath gel are a nice touch. I love that there are lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, also. There’s a blow dryer also hidden in the closet drawer where the safe is. The room is small but it’s plenty for a couple. Love the hot cocoa machine. n they have a coffee machine also.. It was a nice walk to sightseeing locations! Bring your comfy shoes.

The stay at the hotel was very nice. I booked an executive room and was unaware that I could have gone straight up to the 16th floor to check in. The speedy checkout process in the business lounge was nice and fast. I was unable to find a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They appear to share a shuttle with another chain with Emperor labeled on the outside of the van. Much smaller than the big chains vans. They did have a shuttle to the ferry terminal which was good. For those with onward travel to HKG you have to ensure your time between landing and flight departure is at least 2 hours. I was unable to take the direct ferry to the airport because I would have only had 1.5 hours.

I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Room: The room is clean and equipped with the basic features that hotel room have, e.g. toiletries, kettle, TV, hair dryer, slipper and complimentary mineral water. Size of the room consider big comparing to the stay in Hong Kong's guest house a night before. Services: The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. They even help us to heat up the unfinished packed outside food. The buffet breakfast not expensive though, roughly MOP 36 with assorted buffet menu. Location: Can reach by taking public bus no. 26 (from Macau International Airport & Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal), if taking Cotai ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui or Hong Kong island. The hotel is just 200-300m from Macau Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal bus stop after you hop down from the bus no. 26. Walking distance (5 - 20mins) to most of the Macau tourism hotspots, e.g. "Leal Senado" Building, Senado Square, Holy House of Mercy, Cathedral, St. Dominic's Church, Ruins of St. Paul's, Mount Fortress & etc. Me and my bf even went to Lisboa Casino by walking (about 25mins from Mount of Fortress). There are free shuttle buses to The Venetian (every 30mins, last bus 9.30pm) near the Macau Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal bus stop.

Pros - 1)unbelievable steam shower, 2)jacouzzi in the bathroom 3)tv screens everywhere 4)view was amazing 5)staff very friendly and always wanting to please 6) best location - we could walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go Cons - 1)renovations going on , on lower floors and nobody told us until we complained about the noise and got moved. 2) the only reason i booked this hotel was because i read somewhere that it had the best views for new years eve fireworks .....well there werent any! So very disappointed!! 3) a bit of a communication problem - a lot of the staff were very friendly but dont speak or understand english very well, or should i say, we dont speak chinese at all! So there were a few times where they didnt know wot we were asking for.

We stayed for 2 days at Towns Well Hotel and booked 2 rooms. We arrived late at night and found the rooms set-up and ready. With directions found in the internet, we were able to easily locate the hotel. The hotel staff were pleasant to talk to and very accommodating. Luckily the guy at the reception spoke in English and Filipino. Location is the hotel's best-selling feature. We went to Senado Square early in the morning to take pictures and just went back to sleep again....no tourists yet :) Special kudos to the hotel restaurant. It was very late in the evening and we were hungry....with no restaurants open, we tried the hotel. They were just about to close but still accommodated us. The restaurant manager did not speak English but he made sure to call someone who can get our orders. Overall a great stay.....will definitely stay here again.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. Upon check out, Jack helped us with the luggage and helped us on how to get to the bus station going to Hong Kong The overall experience is really great my parents anniversarry become extra special as what Ros

this is our first time staying in this hotel. it is not a very big hotel but it gives us a very homely feel. we love the room's decoration even though the room is small. the location of the hotel is about 5 minutes walk to senado square, the place where it will lead you to most of the places of interest, like ruins of st paul, mount fortress, na tcha temple, st dominic's church, etc. the room is neat and clean and the bed is comfortable too. the hotel may not be very well known by the taxi drivers. if you are going to macau from hong kong, take bus 3 or 3a from the macau ferry terminal (outer harbour) to go to the hotel. alight at the bus stop once you have passed the senado square and asked the locals for directions to the hotel. the hotel is located at a small alley. the hotel provides free wi-fi in the room and the network is strong. there are also many shops just outside the hotel that sell local products like portugese egg tarts, peanut candy, almond cookies, etc. if you want to go to taipa where many casinos are located, a taxi trip will cost you about mop65.

First off: this was not the Best Western I thought I'd booked (which no longer exists) close to the stadium for the Macau marathon! Within this year, from the last race day, the Best Western changed ownership and it's a different hotel. This Best Western is no where near the stadium though it is close to the race route. Getting a taxi in the morning was stressful; however, the front desk staff were very helpful, calling different taxi numbers and walking down the road to flag one down. No breakfast was included in the room price. The room was small but comfortable. If I'd had more time I would have liked to check out the area as it looked like a cool part of town. I would stay there again (but not if I was in Macau to run the marathon-too stressful, not knowing if I'd get a taxi or not).

Our stay was perfect. We stayed last May 25-26. I love everything about this hotel -- the facade, the lobby, the ambiance, the space, the room, food, THE VIEW -- perfect. My requests prior to check in were accomodated, making our stay special. Elmer at the Concierge was very helpful. Thumbs up! The hotel rates itself as 3-star, well, so far the best 3-star hotel for us! We will definitely stay in the same hotel when we go back to Macau.

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

Our room is located on the 16th floor of Presidente Hotel. One can get a clear view of neighbouring 5-star hotels such as MGM,Star World and Wyn Hotel. It is also within walking distance to Holiday Inn, Landmark Hotel, Lisboa and Grand Lisboa Casino and many good restaurants. We were able to use the free shuttle services provided by the 5-star hotels to get to most of the tourist attractions as well as to Fisherman's Wharf and Ferry Terminal. It is quite clear that anyone can hop in and out of these shuttle buses irrespective of whether you are their guest or not. The place is neither busy nor crowded and we feel very safe walking around even late at night. Most people there are decent looking and very helpful when we ask for information or direction. The taxi drivers that we encountered need to show more courtesy and patience. Overall we have a good stay and we are thankful to Agoda for giving us a good rate through advance booking.

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

The hotel located 10 minutes walk to Guia Fortress (one of the must go attraction). The hotel staff was also super nice to direct us to StarWorld hotel, 5 minutes walk away for free shuttle service to Galaxy Macau (on the other side) and even to Border Gate to Zhu Hai, China. The shuttle bus to Galaxy macau runs till super late like 2am in the morning. Would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Macau. Also, Ryan and Carl helped me alot with my heavy luggage! I have no expectations when I booked at this hotel since we will only stay here for 1 night. I booked 2 rooms since we're 6 in the group. I checked their website and tried to sent email asking for directions but the email went back. ( I think email on their website is not working anymore). When we arrived at Macau via Turbojet we were approached by a fellow Fillipina and we asked for direction. She mentioned that we need to take bus 3A Praca Ponte Horte/Terminal but we're so excited so as soon as we saw bus 3A we hopped in. We took bus 3APortas Do Cerco Terminal so it took us an hour to figure our way back.Not everyone speak English as well and good thing the one that I asked when we got off at Portas Do Cerco Terminal showed us that way and he tried his very best that we should take another bus 3A Ponte Horte/terminal and we can see our hotel. It took us 30 minutes because it's traffic an it's raining. This is the last stop and as soon as we get off the bus we saw Macau Masters Hotel. The facade of the building is old and not that attractive but the inside is just fine.They charged the fee a 2 days before our stay so it was easy during check in.They have small cafeteria and lobby but clean. The elevator is also small so max of 3-4 per ride and you need your room key to get up to your desired floor. We were surprised to see our room because it's big with standard twin beds. There's also 2 chairs and table with cabinet and small ref inside. Their TV is also big and there's enough space to put things on the table. With complimentary drinks and water heater if you want to drink coffee. The restroom is big as well and with hot/cold shower and batch tub. They have extra bed sheets and comforters inside the cabinet and hangers for your clothes. There's enough bed pillows as well. The room is clean and they have room heater as well. There's free wifi as well. My nephew got too excited in opening cabinets and the door fell off but good thing he was able to move r

We went to check in early but need to wait until 3pm to check in into the Grand Suite. We went to the buffet which cost 418++ and the food is just excellent. Worth the price as the seafood, Chinese food and the variety spoilt our choices and I filled every bit of space in my stomach. When we went back to the receptionist at 4.30 pm, they made a mistake and told me that our room is not ready. My wife was frustrated but the staff was quick to make amendments and gave us a free 1 room super suite upgrade at level 24. The room is the best we could every imagine and it is too luxurious for only both of us. The amenities inside made us speechless and the view made us awake and would not want to sleep. They provide the corner unit which we had the maximum view. We have complimentary soft drinks in the fridge and we could not ask for more. Lastly, the conceirge staff is the best as she recommended us the right place to visit and help to provide all relevant details to book the turbojet back to HK. Thumbs up !

I took a day off from Hong Kong to visit Macau. I selected this hotel because it was very close to the main Turbojet ferry terminal (though not for Cotai and other ferries). Hotel is visible from the ferry itself. There is an airconditioned elevated walkway for two thirds of the distance to the hotel - which made life easy for me since I had my suitcase. Outstanding location for this purpose. Hotel itself was very nice. Rooms and bathrooms were of adequate size and well furnished to 4 star standards and worth what I paid for it. A few tips for Indian travellers: Many reviews say the bed is hard - but the hardness is similar to coirfoam and sleepwell mattresses which I use at home and I did not find it a problem. Only those used to spring mattresses will find it hard. Bathroom has no hand flush or bidet system, so be prepared. If you are a vegetarian, there is absolutely nothing to eat near the hotel - be prepared to travel very far to find food. Shops nearby (there are many) will sell you bread, cheese slices and butter only. Nobody speaks English and people including shopkeepers are very rude. A few tips for family travellers: This hotel has entire floors dedicated to "services" like Sauna 18 (which means "massage services" if you get my meaning) and table dancing (that is what it says on the lift button). Outsiders also come. The latter apparently is an adult show where a man and woman do "everything" in front of a crowded audience - touted to me as a f*** show. This is not a place to take children unless you want to answer some embarassing questions - and definitely not for adolescents. The casino has mainly black jack and if you dont speak Chinese and are not a gambler, you cant understand anything at all. Rooms are full of smoke. There is no Roulette (it is there in 3-4 nearby Giant sized casinos - Macau is full of casinos around every corner, full of smoke and crowd). There are good buses nearby to go all over Macau. Great location for sight

I had booked a Deluxe City View and Wynn gave me a free upgrade. The room was the best room I have ever seen in my life. It's spotless clean, it's got all the amenities you can thing of and the view was simply breath taking. The front desk were really accommodating and acted like a real 5 star service reps. The location was central and you could walk to all of the surrounding hotels. Overall, I can't say a single bad thing about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

First off, we arrived in Macau by ferry and took a free shuttle to town. Then we tried asking for directions to this hotel, but every English speaking person pointed our way to the Holiday Inn. So I had to ask the Holiday Inn staff, who was very helpful, to write this hotel's name in Chinese so that I could show it to the taxi driver. If you don't speak Chinese, be prepared, not so many people on this island speaks English. As we arrived at the hotel, all the fuss we had while trying to get there vanished. Since we went to Macau not to try our luck at the famous casinos, but to explore the Chinese-Portugese little city. This hotel is not far from the main attractions; the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Macau Museum, the Guia Fortress, the Senado Square, all of these (and more) are in a walking distance. We covered so much area in just one day. The location is more than great. The room is clean. The taxi fare isn't expensive. My friend is going back soon and she said she wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay.

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.
