this hotel has the following good features. first, since this is a brand new hotel, everything in the hotel and in the room is brand new. moreover, since it is new, the hospitality of the hotel staff is really good. second, this hotel is located in a very good location. specifically, it is closed to the best restaurants in vung tau city (i.e., cay bang restaurant and ganh hao restaurant). it is also closed to some entertainment places, such as blue moon bar, dog racing stadium or a sofisticated coffee shop right in front of the hotel. however, there are some bad things existing in this hotel. first, the facilities in the room is very poor installed. it made me think that this is a cheap hotel rather than a 4-star hotel. second, the exterior of the hotel is not well maintained. third, the staff of the hotel is not very well trained, so the way they serve customers looks not professional as i expected from a 4-star hotel. in overall, this hotel is acceptable and i will carefully consider whether or not i want to stay in this hotel again.

We had a stay here and really enjoyed the room. Spacious, deluxe and comfortable. The view is very nice (we booked the deluxe seaview), next to the dog race stadium. The area is quiet, and very enjoyable. Staffs were nice and welcome drink was great. However, the breakfast is a big turnoff because of the quality. We hope that they will improve next time. Also the restaurant for breakfast is smaller than guests capacity. We suggest that you should stay on the highest floor possible for the best experience.

Vung Tau in general feels very dated, and so too does this hotel so it came to be expected. Reception staff are very friendly. I opted for an additional $5/night and got a room almost double the size of my friend's (basically a suite, with seating area, ensuite, main bathroom, etc). Location is great. Didn't try out the gym or pool though but they both seemed popular with the other patrons. I did try the buffet breakfast though and found it lacklustre. There were ants on my table and the 'continental' selection was lacking. I opted for the usual beef pho. I probably wouldn't stay here again as there are other options but I would if I had no other options.

We always stay at this hotel when we want to be in Bai Truoc (the front beach, where you cannot swim but have beautiful views of the ocean). Reception staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and the Deluxe rooms have amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast is excellent, especially now that they have replaced their brand of coffee. Ocean walk is across the street, parks and coffee shops nearby. Nice, large, clean swimming pool in the premises. Highly recommend and with the best prices in town!

We stayed 2 nigets in this hotel and had a great stay! It's an older hotel but everything works perfect. The style is quite charming in fact. The room is very spacious, we had a room room with swimming pool View, in my opinion the best option... The ones with sea views are more noisy because they have the boulevard in front. If you don't mind doing some stairs I would recommend tge rooms on the second floor. We cycled around in Vung Tau and came to the conclusion that this hotel has got the best location! It's fantastic to go to Front beach, especially in the morning; watch the fishermen and watch the people doing exercises. I love this city, so open and so clean♡

It is a nice 4-star hotel, located in a quite street but close to the front beach and many good restaurants. I booked two rooms and both were very clean, the staff was smiley all the time and very helpful. Breakfast was not so special but there were many kinds of food for us to choose. It's beyond our expectations and we will recommend it to our colleagues and friends.

I stayed in a deluxe suite with my son, for the price of a regular room thanks to Agoda. Although the hotel has no lift, it only has 2 floors so we managed. The suite was beautiful, big, clean and very modern. 2 huge tv's and a very well furnished living room, bedroom and bathroom. The water pressure isn't too good in the shower though so you must be patient to get cleaned up after the beach! The location is great, right in the middle of everything and only 10 minutes away by taxi to the beautiful quiet back beach. The front beach is a few minutes walk but certainly not as nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good enough. Reasonable prices too. I really recommend this hotel, especially if you can get a suite deal with Agoda. Really worth it!

trip started off on the wrong foot, so expectations were low. even still, i'm fairly confident that had the trip started out as planned, the stay still would have been enjoyable. the hotel and room was nicer than expected, as was the pool. in fact, the kids loved the pool and the view overlooking the ocean was very nice. part of the railing along the deep end of the pool was broken, but our kids weren't using that end so it wasn't really a problem. the only other real test ky hoa passed was when we decided to extend our stay another night. i booked the wrong room type on agoda (in the hotel lobby). the staff said they couldn't change the booking (only agoda could) which seemed weird. afer a few lengthy exchanges, we asked to speak with the manager. just when it seemed we were getting the standard VN runaround ('let-them-wait-and-maybe-the problem'll-just-go-away'), the manager emerged from the office with an agoda rep on the line, asking if we would speak with her. wow. overall, nice hotel. better than expected location (walking distance to cable car), quality of room, breakfast buffet, pool, and customer service. we didn't need to rely on the staff for activities or transportation, but i was impressed with the overall experience. would definitely go back.

I booked this hotel for one night during my business trip. The location is closed to both park and beach. Many coffee shops around the hotel. The hotel is quite old, but they clean them well. Only the fridge and bathtub are outdated, I think they were used more than 10 years. The complimentary bottles of water were a local band. The smell was like tap water. I could not drink it. However, their services were nice. Fast check-in and check-out. The breakfast was fine for 3 star hotel. Variety of foods; Vietnamese; Korean; and some western foods. The foods taste ok for me. All in all, the hotel is a good choice for 3 star hotel. By the way, the Agoda price is cheaper than the walk-in price. I booked one more day. The price was a bit more expensive.

Another hotel I have stayed in over the past 8 years. Staff really friendly and pleasant, willing to help in anyway they can. Price good with breakfast, other meals good although menu hasn't changed much. Beer always cold, aircon in all rooms that actually work, staff at the front desk will help you will travel arrangements back to Ho Chi Minh. Will stay there again on my next visit.

Great location very very big and very new room. I think just renovate, room outside also is big area, Hotel is very quietly, come to 11.00pm all the coffee house is close, the hotel just infront the sea view turn at the back hotel is a main road, very convenient for the food restaurant, i like it, best features of the hotel, customer service with smile and english very well can understand. but we book with agoda offer very cheap.

I booked a deluxe room for $24 and I will say that this is the nicest room I have booked so far in Vietnam. Stylishly remodeled about one year ago. Hardwood floors; matching dark wood furniture; beautifully tiled bathroom with glass enclosed shower; nice Samsung flat panel tv with English sports and movie channels (although all the channels were fuzzy - perhaps they need to realign the satellite dish); comfy mattress with a thick soft comforter; and very quiet, right up until about 7am when the streets begin to buzz with motorbike traffic. Reception staff speak excellent English and are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site that serves reasonably priced meals, and also a bar with a pool table. Very convenient. It is a short walk to a beautiful park filled with interesting sculptures and from there to the sea side. You are not near a beach, but a harbor filled with fishing boats, very scenic location. Just to the north is the cable car, just to the south is the ferry stop, and farther around the corner is the giant Jesus statue. If you want to walk on the beach, you will have to hire a taxi. Restaurants and bars are numerous in this part of town. All that said, this is a great hotel! I will definitely be back!

we arrive at airport hcm city and take the bus no 152 from the airport which take us direct to the hcm city central bus station. it cost us or around. from there we did 10 minutes walk to the ferry jetty eventhough we can take another bus to the jetty. the hydrofoil ferry cost us or usd10. we arrive at the vung tau jetty 2 hours later and walk to lam son hotel. the hotel is located near town where there are access to few restaurant, salon and spa, etc. its basically an old hotel however very well maintained and clean. it also has all the cable movie channel, a massage spa in-house and restaurant.

i stay a night at song huong which located behind rex hotel and royal hotel. in fact, my room on 2nd floor oversee the rex massage spa entrance. the hotel is an old hotel, however, it is very clean, has a spacious room, cozy wall to wall carpeted, wooden furniture and a balcony.it cost less than usd30 compared to royal hotel and rex hotel, considered cheap. it has all the cabel tv channel and great restaurant with reasonable price for dining. it location is also within less than 3 minutes walk to the town square.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel as a couple getting away from HCMC for vacation. Compared to other hotels we've stayed at in the price range, this was in-line with what you'd expect on the whole, a bit nicer in some ways, a bit worse in others. It's a local hotel, so don't expect to see Westerners there. First, the room itself was fairly spacious I thought. Decor and nice lighting are NOT things you'll get. It had a very large window that took up nearly an entire wall, and which let in a large amount of natural light, and fresh sea air if opened. The drapes didn't block much light, though, so bring an eye mask if you don't feel like waking up at 6 AM (and earplugs due to the guard dog barking at the sun). The beds were free of pests, and the bedding was clean, though a bit ragged and ill-fitting for the mattress. The beds were also very comfortable and soft, a welcomed surprise. The TV had a decent selection of channels. The AC worked well. There was plenty of hot water. There was a mini fridge, a closet, some chairs, and a small table. Decent WIFI also was present in-room. The staff was nice and we had no problems with them. Payment was accurate and professional (we stayed 2 nights past the Agoda booking and were charged appropriately). A big con, however, was the security. Not only did the door only have a basic, easily-picked handle lock, but that lock didn't even work! The hotel seemed safe enough, as did the area, but still that's a big oversight. Deadbolts should be the norm for hotels, but here there was nothing keeping people out of our room. That said, no one did come in. Also, there was a safe downstairs we could use to store valuables in. The area was quiet, near the mountain, so fairly green and shaded, and close to some Western restaurants and one of the beaches. A bit of a walk to the main beach, though, but still I enjoyed it. A motorbike would be a good thing to have in VT regardless, especially as the traffic is so light and the ride
