"S$350 for a 2-bedroom suite was not very expensive neither was it really value for money. We asked for dental floss and they didn't have it, the surrounding didn't have much to see as well pretty quiet for a weekend. The location was pretty near to Macau Ferry Terminal but it might take 15-20mins walk as it is not a straight road. Free shuttle bus is available - it is blue in colour named macau fisherman's wharf that drop by Legend Palace Hotel before arriving at Harbourview Hotel. Cleanliness was good except that I found a bright red hair in the bathtub. Checking in and out was a breeze, and reminder that there is a MOP1000 refundable deposit. Concierge service was great, helped us to book a maxi cab (7 seater) within 5 mins despite telling us there are only 50 maxi cabs serving whole Macau. Overall was a good stay but probably will try out other hotels in future as the location is quite a distance to places of interest. Despite free shuttle from hotels, it takes quite a bit of waiting & traveling time so ended up we had to Uber or cab quite often. "

"Hello, Given the fact we booked last minute and didn't want to spend too much we ended up in the Grand Lapa after taking an online promotion. We had a very good surprise and my kids (4 and 6 years old) wanted to stay longer than the 2 nights we booked for the week-end. It certainly used to be a top 5 stars Hotel but it's ageing now and even though it is still very good you can see it is not all renovated and modern. Pros: - "Old hotel" means pretty spacious bedroom and bathroom which is a plus for us. - Dated but everything was very clean - Heated outside swimming pool with a slide for the kids (even if heated pool, in November you don't stay 2h00 in the water as it gets chilly after 30-45 minutes). - Friendly staff - Nice garden and playroom (though a bit old too) that the kids loved - Close to the Fisherman's Wharf so you can go walking and the kids loved walking there - Taxi available quite easily in front of the hotel - Old downtown Macau and Largo do Senado can be reached walking (but take between 20-30 minutes with the kids). If you take a taxi it literally takes lass than 5 minutes. Cons: - Not too many restaurant close by (but you have 2 or 3 inside the hotel) - You have to cross a public place (but no road) behind the hotel to access the spa/swimming pool, gardens and playroom. It's not really a cons but it's not quick to go back to your room if you forgot something. If you are looking for luxury and last modern commodity, it might not suit you. We are usually staying at 3 star hotels so an old 5 stars hotel was just a perfect stay for us. We would definitely recommend it and would go back again if we have the occasion."

"Our stay at the Lisboa hotel was almost perfect. Our check in was smooth and we were upgraded to a bigger room (thanks!). Room was grandly spacious and the bathroom was absolute joy - there was a steam jacuzzi with massaging and audio functions and boy, you don't really want to get out! Our unit was on the 16th floor and we had a gorgeous view of the bridge and river. At night, the buildings are lit up which further adds to its old world charm. All in, if you want a real Macau experience, do try out Lisboa Hotel. You almost feel transported back in time but it was the very experience we had wanted to try when we booked this hotel. Looking at the wonderful upkeep of the hotel, we were surprised to know it is the oldest 5-star hotel in Macau. "

"Greeted and served very well by a girl name Ally at the reception. We wanted our 3 rooms on high floors facing the sea and she gave us just that. The view was wonderful. We could see the ferry's wharf, the bridge to the airport etc., fisherman's wharf and the Sands Casino and Hotel. At night when the lights were turned on, it was just beautiful. The Sands Casino and hotel is just a short 150m walk away. From there you could take a shuttle bus to the Venetian and onwards to the City of Dreams. The casino at the hotel is not as big as those in the Sands, Venetian or Lisboa. Set dinner @ RMB99 per pax at the Japanese restaurant next to the lifts was pretty good. Special mention must be made with regard to the bell hops who were always pleasant and helpful. There are hourly bus shuttle right in front of the hotel to the ferry's wharf. There's also shuttle bus in front of the casino to the immigration checkpoint leading to Zhuhai. A value for money hotel."

"I feel like a valued hotel guest. The hotel manager Tom and his concierge crew named Alex, Michael and Steven are all very friendly and helpful. The 2-bedroom suite is very big, beautiful and cosy for my family of 5. This hotel is 5 mins walk from outer-harbour ferry terminal. Very convenient as 1) you can either choose to walk with luggages, or 2) cross the underpass to opposite side of road to take the free shuttle that takes you to "Fisherman's Wharf". The experience would have been perfect if the Fisherman's Wharf shuttle bus driver can be more polite and customer service oriented. Other than that, all experience in the hotel itself is a perfect 10. "

"My room was upgraded to Delux Double so I do not know how the standard room looks like. The Delux room exceeded my expectation. It was lovely, with views overlooking Macau residential areas. They didn't provide sugar for the Lipton tea bags provided but it's better that way right? =P Location was good, you can take buses to anywhere (we crossed over to China!), or even walk. Food wasn't a problem. If you're hungry in the middle of the night there's McD nearby and a 24/7 bakery shop. The hotel frontdesk personnels are relatively young. They can speak basic english, and they'll show you directions if you're not sure of where to go. For the price I paid, it was really satisfying experience, although we didn't spend much time in the hotel. At night the area was pretty dead but then again it was 2am on a monday morning. most people was probably asleep for work the next morning. hehehe."

"The room we booked was so spacious. It had its own living room, a powder room, a bedroom and T&B. The check-in and check-out processes were quick, though be prepared to pay for security deposit (they accept credit cards). The hotel was a 10-minute walk from the Macau Ferry Terminal. We didn't mind the walk as the weather was cool/chilly. They also provide a free shuttle service which goes around their hotels only."
