This deservingly 5-star hotel is well-located, being around a 10-minute walk from the massive new Lisboa Hotel skyscraper. Plenty of shopping and restaurants just a few minutes away, with a nice large square in front of the hotel and great views from the 15th floor room. Definitely worth paying to upgrade to a Premier room on floors 15 and 16 to get free breakfast buffet for 2 (from 7 to 11 a.m.), free snack foods from 4 to 8 p.m. in the lobby lounge (which are good enough to make a dinner out of) and unlimited free flow of house wine (which is good), beer, fruit juices and soft drinks all day long. The service level could hardly be better, the room isn't huge but big enough, everything you need is provided, comfort and cleanliness are guaranteed. Very satisfied and would have stayed longer. the true 5-star property is the Royal Hotel. Definitely worth it if you get the buffet breakfast included; it's extensive and filling, although a little too biased towards Chinese rather than Western food. 95% of hotel guests also appeared to be Chinese or Filipino. The indoor swimming pool is also large and great, but the gym is only adequate (on the small side, and only cardio machines, no weights). Good movies are shown on the big-screen TV in the room. Nice marble bathroom. This may only apply to the Premier room, because I never saw a standard room. The Premier upgrade is worthwhile, for sure!

Must check in into Hotel Lisboa early,(11am to 12pm) so that you can ask for a higher floor with smoke free room.(Better View)Remember to bring additional($ HKD)as deposit to Hotel Lisboa.(Refunable Deposit) Hotel Lisboa is one of the Best Hotel, I stayed at in Macau. The room are medium size(Superior)but clean, smoke free with amenities including toiletries and bath accessories. There's complimentary mini bar fridge with free drink & free drink.(6 drink & 1 macau beer)Which can be refilled daily upon request.(All contents are free inside the mini bar fridge, but you must leave all the empty can you drink on the table. Enjoyed the massage shower with built in steam bath(Jacuzzi)& Hydrotherapy to soothe aching muscles after a day walk at bathroom. (Can ask house keeping for help if you do not know how to use.) Classic elegance & museum quality art display in the lobby throughout. Hotel Lisboa is right in the heart of Macau. Hotel Lisboa is walking distance to all the famous attractions. (Senado square,Sam Kai Vui Kun Temple, Holy Mercy of Macau, St Dominic's Church, ruin's of St Paul's Church & other. Hotel Lisboa Concierge was very helpful when we call for help. If you want to enjoy your Macau trips & see more of the city. You must do some homework. To check & find out from your friends where to go, where to eat, where to shop, which Casino or Hotel to Visit.Plan your jounery well. Restaurant Tip: Try the Dim Sum Restaurant on the 4 floor opposite Grand Emperor Hotel. Food Tip: Try the morning breakfast(Mixed pork porridge with pig blood) around/near senado square. Try the Magaret egg tart at ABCD building along the (Av. Do Infante Dom Henngue Road) Ask around if you do not know where.

I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview!

I travel to Macau 3D2N with two young children. One thing really attract me about this hotel is the comfort and location. Room is big and free upgraded to bigger room with 1 double bed and 1 super size single bed which can fit in four of us! My children feels happy inside the room and they prefer to stay in the room than outside! lol..... Water pressure and temperature are great! (I am very particular on this) To most attraction, you need to walk behind the building to catch a bus which is only 1 or 2min away. To most attraction, by bus, it take about 3 to 6 stops depends on the location which is super duber convenient. For 4 of us, the average bus fare is about MOP4.20 per person, one way, thanks to the hotel location. Honestly, you dont have to take taxi which is far more costly. Opposite, across the road, you have 7-11 convenient store, money exchange, famous chain store for food souvenirs. The buffet breakfast cost about MOP120.00 per pax (include tax) and we didnt take that as there are few restaurant just few steps away. For asian foods, step out from the hotel entrance, turn right..two block ahead, you spot a nice and cheap restaurant for breakfast! Overall, I love this hotel very much and I definitely will come back again.

i booked my room well in advance and hence got a good discount. i visited in the beginning of dec which is peak period, so better to do advance booking, or else the prices will shoot up when u go there. rooms are big, spacious, clean and well done up. there's a coffee/ tea maker, safe and a minibar. theres also a study table with some sofas (this is the deluxe room). the bathroom is open with just a glass door separating it from the room. theres a tub, weighing scale and some toiletries too. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone since the rooms are beautiful and the location is excellent. it is walking distance from wynn, mgm grand, senado square, the temple, the lotus statue and st.paul ruins. you only need to take a bus to venetian which is in taipa and there's nothing around taipa (so best not to stay here). the only sad part of the hotel is that it doesnt have a 24 hour coffee shop / 24 hour room service. so if u have an early morning flight, like i did, you gotta go without breakfast. also if you like to have a mid-nite snack, this option is not available in the hotel and the closest you'll have to walk is to wynn. mgm grand too doesnt host a 24 hour resto/ coffee shop.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16. We were over to see The House of Dancing Water (which was excellent - though beware, we saw the 5pm show and it's nigh impossible to get a taxi afterwards at the City of Dreams. We waited an hour) and decided that we wanted to stay away from the Cotai strip as we have no interest in gambling. The Sofitel’s rooms looked gorgeous and fell into a reasonable price bracket so having booked it the night before, we made our way over after the show. Upon check-in, we were surprised and delighted to have our room upgraded when the staff learned that the trip was a late birthday present for my girlfriend, and our suite on the 17th floor was nothing short of superb. All we wanted was a room with a comfortable bed and a bath big enough for the two of us to unwind in after a long day, and our upgraded digs ticked both boxes off - and then some. Fantastic views from up high, as well. Having missed our dinner reservations at Fernando's (due to the hour-long taxi wait at the City of Dreams), we decided to instead dine at the hotel's Mistral restaurant, treating ourselves to the buffet spread - which was excellent. As the hotel is located conveniently in town, near the western shore of Macau's northern part, we decided to walk into Macau's historic town the next day and see the sights such as the Ruins of St Paul's and the historic fortress on the hill (which also contains the history museum and offers a gorgeous view of the surrounds, including the Sofitel's striking building) before heading home to Hong Kong in the afternoon. All in all, we had a lovely short stay in Macau - in no small part due to our plush room and the great service we enjoyed from all of the hotel staff - and would definitely choose to stay again at the Sofitel Macau on Ponte 16.

Hello, Given the fact we booked last minute and didn't want to spend too much we ended up in the Grand Lapa after taking an online promotion. We had a very good surprise and my kids (4 and 6 years old) wanted to stay longer than the 2 nights we booked for the week-end. It certainly used to be a top 5 stars Hotel but it's ageing now and even though it is still very good you can see it is not all renovated and modern. Pros: - "Old hotel" means pretty spacious bedroom and bathroom which is a plus for us. - Dated but everything was very clean - Heated outside swimming pool with a slide for the kids (even if heated pool, in November you don't stay 2h00 in the water as it gets chilly after 30-45 minutes). - Friendly staff - Nice garden and playroom (though a bit old too) that the kids loved - Close to the Fisherman's Wharf so you can go walking and the kids loved walking there - Taxi available quite easily in front of the hotel - Old downtown Macau and Largo do Senado can be reached walking (but take between 20-30 minutes with the kids). If you take a taxi it literally takes lass than 5 minutes. Cons: - Not too many restaurant close by (but you have 2 or 3 inside the hotel) - You have to cross a public place (but no road) behind the hotel to access the spa/swimming pool, gardens and playroom. It's not really a cons but it's not quick to go back to your room if you forgot something. If you are looking for luxury and last modern commodity, it might not suit you. We are usually staying at 3 star hotels so an old 5 stars hotel was just a perfect stay for us. We would definitely recommend it and would go back again if we have the occasion.

It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing

I loved Sintra Hotel! The location is excellent --very near the tourist attractions like the Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul, Casino Lisboa. There is a bus stop a minute away from the hotel, and you can ride the bus to go to the Macau Tower, Fisherman's Wharf and other places. It also provides free shuttle to the Macau Ferry Terminal, where you can hop on the free shuttle service to The Venetian and City of Dreams. Very convenient. The room itself was excellent too, very reminiscent of Shangri-la decor, beds and bath. It provides not only the basic shampoo and soap, but also a shower gel, cotton, q-tips, sewing kit, shaving kit. It also has an LCD TV featuring many English channels (not just Chinese channels). The view outside our room wasnt very nice, but we hardly look out the window anyway. The service was excellent. Everyone from the waitresses at the restaurant, the reception staff, the bellhop and the guards were very helpful and friendly. The guards and the bellhop speak English very well, and they can give you good directions and tips. Two minutes away from the hotel is Margaret's Cafe, serving yummy and cheap sandwiches, great coffee and the best portuguese egg tarts. All in all, it's two thumbs up for Hotel Sintra! If I ever go back to Macau, I will definitely book here again, and will recommend the hotel to all.

The place is strategically located in the heart of the old town and just a few minutes walk to the famous attractions and good eateries. The room is spacious and with quality amenities. The only down side about this hotel is that there is no in house cafe, the cafe next door where they serve your complementary breakfast is quite a disappointing one. So it's best not to opt for breakfast being included with your room stay, you can get really nice meals for reasonable price just a few streets away. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Overall it's a place worth your pennies if you're into seeing the heritage side of Macau!

The stay at the hotel was very nice. I booked an executive room and was unaware that I could have gone straight up to the 16th floor to check in. The speedy checkout process in the business lounge was nice and fast. I was unable to find a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They appear to share a shuttle with another chain with Emperor labeled on the outside of the van. Much smaller than the big chains vans. They did have a shuttle to the ferry terminal which was good. For those with onward travel to HKG you have to ensure your time between landing and flight departure is at least 2 hours. I was unable to take the direct ferry to the airport because I would have only had 1.5 hours.

I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Pros - 1)unbelievable steam shower, 2)jacouzzi in the bathroom 3)tv screens everywhere 4)view was amazing 5)staff very friendly and always wanting to please 6) best location - we could walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go Cons - 1)renovations going on , on lower floors and nobody told us until we complained about the noise and got moved. 2) the only reason i booked this hotel was because i read somewhere that it had the best views for new years eve fireworks .....well there werent any! So very disappointed!! 3) a bit of a communication problem - a lot of the staff were very friendly but dont speak or understand english very well, or should i say, we dont speak chinese at all! So there were a few times where they didnt know wot we were asking for.

We got the double room that came with a HUGE king-size bed! And the bathroom was super roomy too! Basic toiletries (bedroom slippers, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo) provided and replenished by the honest and dutiful cleaning lady! Bath towels and hand towels were changed anew with every new round of housekeeping (we stayed for 4 days in all)! Good sound insulation because we didn't get disturbed by other guests inside the hotel or the human/vehicular traffic outside! And we highly recommend the in-house restaurant for tasty, affordable dishes from as early as 8am to as late as 10.30am! The front desk operates 24/7 (a lady during the day, and a gentleman at night), and was very helpful in giving us sightseeing advice/travel directions, as well as helping us adjust the water heater in our room very promptly (the technician was sent to us straightaway)! We're so glad we chose this hotel, and will definitely stay here again next time we're back in Macau! :)

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. This hotel is good and situates in a best location. If you are very into casinos, then dont bother to stay in this hotel as it is away from all the grand casinos. The hotel is nearby all the tourists main spots with lots of good food around. You will never get hungry and only if time is permitted to try all the foods you can get around the hotel. The porridge opposite the hotel is good. The desserts at the corner opposite the hotel is very good. and the noodles next to the desserts shop is so good and the price is too cheap to be true. Overall it is a very good hotel.

First off: this was not the Best Western I thought I'd booked (which no longer exists) close to the stadium for the Macau marathon! Within this year, from the last race day, the Best Western changed ownership and it's a different hotel. This Best Western is no where near the stadium though it is close to the race route. Getting a taxi in the morning was stressful; however, the front desk staff were very helpful, calling different taxi numbers and walking down the road to flag one down. No breakfast was included in the room price. The room was small but comfortable. If I'd had more time I would have liked to check out the area as it looked like a cool part of town. I would stay there again (but not if I was in Macau to run the marathon-too stressful, not knowing if I'd get a taxi or not).

Our stay was perfect. We stayed last May 25-26. I love everything about this hotel -- the facade, the lobby, the ambiance, the space, the room, food, THE VIEW -- perfect. My requests prior to check in were accomodated, making our stay special. Elmer at the Concierge was very helpful. Thumbs up! The hotel rates itself as 3-star, well, so far the best 3-star hotel for us! We will definitely stay in the same hotel when we go back to Macau.

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

Our room is located on the 16th floor of Presidente Hotel. One can get a clear view of neighbouring 5-star hotels such as MGM,Star World and Wyn Hotel. It is also within walking distance to Holiday Inn, Landmark Hotel, Lisboa and Grand Lisboa Casino and many good restaurants. We were able to use the free shuttle services provided by the 5-star hotels to get to most of the tourist attractions as well as to Fisherman's Wharf and Ferry Terminal. It is quite clear that anyone can hop in and out of these shuttle buses irrespective of whether you are their guest or not. The place is neither busy nor crowded and we feel very safe walking around even late at night. Most people there are decent looking and very helpful when we ask for information or direction. The taxi drivers that we encountered need to show more courtesy and patience. Overall we have a good stay and we are thankful to Agoda for giving us a good rate through advance booking.

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

In haste and on the cheap, I booked this hotel on the fly, as a day trip from Macau. I was amazed at how well appointed it was. It was not the cramped motel cheepo place I was expecting at all, but quite a beautiful hotel. A large clean and spacious lobby with a staff that was beyond courteous awaited us at check in. Upon check –in there was a bit of difficulty finding my reservation (probably due to my last minute booking with Orbitz) but they were very gracious as they pleaded for my patience. I was treated like royalty and tended to in every respectable way. The concierge and managers spoke English very good and were a considerable help in getting around and getting cabs for us to take us to any destination. I would like to thank and commend the management, and especially Sara who made getting our New Year sightseeing around Zhuhai fantastic. They were all very understandable and we were able to explore the town a little more boldly as a result. I never felt as though I was on my own, lost or out of luck as long as I had the hotel key and concierge business card. As soon as I showed it to any cab driver they knew exactly what to do. I can only describe the staff in general as gracious, courteous, respectful and eager to please. The executive room was about as large as a Manhattan loft and clean and included the following; a nice big DLP TV with remote, a huge king size bed, large work table, dual air controllers, spacious bathroom with large shower room and tub room, modern toilets, 2 spacious closets, a safe, robes, umbrellas, flashlight and emergency evac hood with oxygen (just in case) Spartan but functional mini bar, complimentary bottled water, toiletries including toothbrushes and combs as well as soaps and shampoos. About 10 minutes after arrival a call from the front desk asking if everything was to my liking. I also recommend the laundry if you need. It is very affordable and efficient.

I have no expectations when I booked at this hotel since we will only stay here for 1 night. I booked 2 rooms since we're 6 in the group. I checked their website and tried to sent email asking for directions but the email went back. ( I think email on their website is not working anymore). When we arrived at Macau via Turbojet we were approached by a fellow Fillipina and we asked for direction. She mentioned that we need to take bus 3A Praca Ponte Horte/Terminal but we're so excited so as soon as we saw bus 3A we hopped in. We took bus 3APortas Do Cerco Terminal so it took us an hour to figure our way back.Not everyone speak English as well and good thing the one that I asked when we got off at Portas Do Cerco Terminal showed us that way and he tried his very best that we should take another bus 3A Ponte Horte/terminal and we can see our hotel. It took us 30 minutes because it's traffic an it's raining. This is the last stop and as soon as we get off the bus we saw Macau Masters Hotel. The facade of the building is old and not that attractive but the inside is just fine.They charged the fee a 2 days before our stay so it was easy during check in.They have small cafeteria and lobby but clean. The elevator is also small so max of 3-4 per ride and you need your room key to get up to your desired floor. We were surprised to see our room because it's big with standard twin beds. There's also 2 chairs and table with cabinet and small ref inside. Their TV is also big and there's enough space to put things on the table. With complimentary drinks and water heater if you want to drink coffee. The restroom is big as well and with hot/cold shower and batch tub. They have extra bed sheets and comforters inside the cabinet and hangers for your clothes. There's enough bed pillows as well. The room is clean and they have room heater as well. There's free wifi as well. My nephew got too excited in opening cabinets and the door fell off but good thing he was able to move r

We went to check in early but need to wait until 3pm to check in into the Grand Suite. We went to the buffet which cost 418++ and the food is just excellent. Worth the price as the seafood, Chinese food and the variety spoilt our choices and I filled every bit of space in my stomach. When we went back to the receptionist at 4.30 pm, they made a mistake and told me that our room is not ready. My wife was frustrated but the staff was quick to make amendments and gave us a free 1 room super suite upgrade at level 24. The room is the best we could every imagine and it is too luxurious for only both of us. The amenities inside made us speechless and the view made us awake and would not want to sleep. They provide the corner unit which we had the maximum view. We have complimentary soft drinks in the fridge and we could not ask for more. Lastly, the conceirge staff is the best as she recommended us the right place to visit and help to provide all relevant details to book the turbojet back to HK. Thumbs up !

I took a day off from Hong Kong to visit Macau. I selected this hotel because it was very close to the main Turbojet ferry terminal (though not for Cotai and other ferries). Hotel is visible from the ferry itself. There is an airconditioned elevated walkway for two thirds of the distance to the hotel - which made life easy for me since I had my suitcase. Outstanding location for this purpose. Hotel itself was very nice. Rooms and bathrooms were of adequate size and well furnished to 4 star standards and worth what I paid for it. A few tips for Indian travellers: Many reviews say the bed is hard - but the hardness is similar to coirfoam and sleepwell mattresses which I use at home and I did not find it a problem. Only those used to spring mattresses will find it hard. Bathroom has no hand flush or bidet system, so be prepared. If you are a vegetarian, there is absolutely nothing to eat near the hotel - be prepared to travel very far to find food. Shops nearby (there are many) will sell you bread, cheese slices and butter only. Nobody speaks English and people including shopkeepers are very rude. A few tips for family travellers: This hotel has entire floors dedicated to "services" like Sauna 18 (which means "massage services" if you get my meaning) and table dancing (that is what it says on the lift button). Outsiders also come. The latter apparently is an adult show where a man and woman do "everything" in front of a crowded audience - touted to me as a f*** show. This is not a place to take children unless you want to answer some embarassing questions - and definitely not for adolescents. The casino has mainly black jack and if you dont speak Chinese and are not a gambler, you cant understand anything at all. Rooms are full of smoke. There is no Roulette (it is there in 3-4 nearby Giant sized casinos - Macau is full of casinos around every corner, full of smoke and crowd). There are good buses nearby to go all over Macau. Great location for sight

I had booked a Deluxe City View and Wynn gave me a free upgrade. The room was the best room I have ever seen in my life. It's spotless clean, it's got all the amenities you can thing of and the view was simply breath taking. The front desk were really accommodating and acted like a real 5 star service reps. The location was central and you could walk to all of the surrounding hotels. Overall, I can't say a single bad thing about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has an absolute location. It's very close to some of Macau's popular landmarks - Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, Fortaleza do Monte, Camoes Square and Casa Garden, St. Anthony's Church, Leal Senado Building, St. Augustine's Church, Dom Pedro V Theatre, Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, Mandarin's House, Lilau Square, Moorish Barracks, A-Ma Temple and a lot more, even to the casinos like Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Wynn Macau, MGM, and also Macau Tower. You can really discover places just by walking, which I did, from the hotel to these popular sights. I didn't have to spend a lot with transportation fees. The hotel is also few steps away from local gift shops, pastry shops, and some eateries, as well as parks and convenience stores. The hotel staff are quite nice, one lady even directed me on how to go to Ruins of St. Paul's. The senior staff who was on duty when I arrived at past 2am on Friday/Saturday was accommodating to my concern despite the limited English when I thought the key got stuck to the key slot. Overall, I'd say I would book with this hotel again when I come back.

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.
