"we we're amazed at the hotel's unique and flashy interior the moment we stepped in. hotel crew were courteous, as well. checking in was conveniently fast (thanks for agoda's reliable booking service). we got the west wing standard room and it was so neat! the room looked gorgeous and it was fun to stay. the bathroom was uniquely perfect! and courtesy of the hotel, all drinks at the fridge come for free and is re-filled daily! the hotel's location is one of the best highlights. it's in the middle of the island's business district which means you're close to everywhere. the public bus station is just across the street. other famous casino hotels like mgm, wynn and grand lisboa are less than 5 mins walk away. we even walked only about 15 minutes to get to senado square! the other two islands (taipa and coloane) was easily accessible. going to the venetian hotel at taipa, for example, we took the hotel's free shuttle service bound for the macau ferry terminal. once at the ferry terminal, you'll find different shuttles / buses of different hotels including the venetian and they're all for free! so from the ferry terminal, we took the venetian bus and got there within 15 minutes. to get to other places, we also took the public bus which was fun and easy. all you have to do is take a good look at the bus station's maps and you'll easily find which bus number you need back and forth. should you need more info, the hotel's friendly concierge is at your service."

"I recommend this hotel for its location and value for money. Maybe a bit old, but still okay. Room is spacious. We booked 2 deluxe rooms, one room with 3 adults and 1 room with 2 adults and 2 children. The room and beds are spacious enough, we need not to get an extra bed. Walking distance to senado sqaure, fishermans wharf, ruins and major casinos like starworld, wynn, mgm etc. They also have free shuttle to macau outer ferry but not at airport. Taxi from airport to hotel is only 80MOP (with luggage already). Just bring extra 500MOP as hotel deposit per room. This hotel deposit was not mentioned elsewhere so thought other travelers should know. "

"We booked Hotel Sintra for its reasonable price and great location. My friend and I are not gamblers, so we did not have to stay in one of the Casino Hotels. The great thing about the hotel is its convenient location to tourist spots (such as Senado Square) and the casino hotels nearby (Grand Lisboa, Wynn and MGM Grand). There is also a shuttle right in front of the hotel that will take you directly to the City of Dreams for free! Basically, it has all that you need in a hotel but at a budget price. Do not expect photogenic lobbies and rooms inside. However, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this to my family and friends. "

"Advantage: 1. Value for money for similar room with harbour view (It is good to book a harbour room there) 2. Service is good, Staff are friendly and helpful, esp.Concierge 3. Clean room, beautiful and size is OK 4. Bathroom amenities with brand 5. Beside Fisherman Harbour and Sandos Casino, near to Ferry 6. Quick response to service requested 7. Room facilities are good, TV is big, iphone docking available 8. Interior design of room is good and comfortable 9. Check in (Thu) and check out (Fri) speed is efficient Disadvantage: 1. Not in the middle of the town, need to walk 5 min to nearby 7-11 shop. However it takes only around 10 min to reach downtown Wynn Casino by bus.and I am OK with this. 2. "Super impressed with this hotel! You get the quiet grandeur of a 5 star hotel without the overwhelming crowds. The service staff from front desk to housekeeping were impeccable, attentive and quick to respond. The resort grounds were beautiful, and there is a small but serene park just out the back door of the hotel. The rooms are newly renovated, and the bathroom feels classy without being showy. Separate bath and shower. For those wanting to visit casinos, Sands is just next door, easily accessed through the back door of the hotel. Wynn and Star World are a 15 mins walk or a short cab ride away. There is a Starbucks in Sands. Breakfast spread was good, with an egg and pancake/waffle station, fruits, cereal, cold cuts and cheeses, Asian congee noodles and dim sum, and breads. Best thing is you don’t have to “fight” for breakfast unlike at most hotels in Macau. The breakfast cafe felt more like a dining room in a colonial mansion. Absolutely lovely place, and my father and I enjoyed our stay very much."

"The room we booked was so spacious. It had its own living room, a powder room, a bedroom and T&B. The check-in and check-out processes were quick, though be prepared to pay for security deposit (they accept credit cards). The hotel was a 10-minute walk from the Macau Ferry Terminal. We didn't mind the walk as the weather was cool/chilly. They also provide a free shuttle service which goes around their hotels only."

"The Grand Emperor Hotel was in a good location. A smaller casino hotel meant it was easy to access our rooms, the resturant and casino. The larger casino's were only a 5min walk away. Walking around this area of Macau was the best way to get around and enjoy the streets and alley's. We booked a Superior room, rooms large, king size bed, the blurb said included breakfast. Be aware - the Superior room booking included breakfast, the AGODA voucher said breakfast not included. Presenting for breakfast we were told it was not included. A quick email to AGODA and we were told it was at the hotels discretion. Not a good look, very disappointing. We contacted the other hotel we had booked that had breakfast included in the room type but not on the AGODA voucher and it was honoured without question, they actually found it strange we asked!!"
