Hotels near Nui Lon Cable Station

Everything was so great except we booked and paid more for apartment but they offered me the petro suite which it smaller with no kitchen, Agoda couldn't helped. Because hotel explained they have no apartment as is showed on Agoda. Anyway u should not book apartment unless u want to pay more to stay in petro suite. Everything else was great, big suite, room service awesome, breakfast buffet delicious, staffs friendly accept staffs worked in restaurant. The most important thing I like is the jacuzzi bathtub that you hardly find even in 5 star hotel. Loved it. And the reasonable price can beat anywhere. I will still stay here for next visit vung tau even though the problem I've had here

Clean, strategic located, friendly staff make the stay at this hotel an enjoyable experience. This hotel is located just 5 mins drive away from the Vung Tau ferry station, the taxi fare to transfer over from the ferry station to Palace Hotel Vung Tau is reasonable. Upon arrival the staff took less tahn 2 mins to arrange for my check in. The deluxe room i stayed is very spacious and the sea view is definitely an enjoyable experience.

The main problem with this hotel is the lack of promotion - we had to ask for everything in order to find things out - eg. where is the computer, how do you get pool towels/breakfast vouchers/ferry tickets etc. No forthcoming info on tours/sites/facilities/breakfast times - the staff were very restrained, probably due to limited English. But for the first time in Vietnam we were not pestered by porters which was a nice relief, but weird in that we had to find our own room. The table cloths in the restaurant looked stained. Location is very convenient - 10 min walk to ferry, less to chair lift. Do the Lon Tan/Battlefields trip with the owner of Tommy's 3 - $60 per head for a couple but less if more people go... Excellent.

We stayed 2 nigets in this hotel and had a great stay! It's an older hotel but everything works perfect. The style is quite charming in fact. The room is very spacious, we had a room room with swimming pool View, in my opinion the best option... The ones with sea views are more noisy because they have the boulevard in front. If you don't mind doing some stairs I would recommend tge rooms on the second floor. We cycled around in Vung Tau and came to the conclusion that this hotel has got the best location! It's fantastic to go to Front beach, especially in the morning; watch the fishermen and watch the people doing exercises. I love this city, so open and so clean♡

It is a nice 4-star hotel, located in a quite street but close to the front beach and many good restaurants. I booked two rooms and both were very clean, the staff was smiley all the time and very helpful. Breakfast was not so special but there were many kinds of food for us to choose. It's beyond our expectations and we will recommend it to our colleagues and friends.

The hotel is located near the end of tree-lined Tran Hung Dau, just across the junction is a well stocked small supermarket (that carries a huge range of 'foreign' food from Swedish crispbread to English Batchelors beans and Cadburys chocolate - IF you need to buy reminders of home in such a culinary paradise!) Come out of the hotel, turn right at the traffic lights and the front beach is about 200m away.Plenty of restaurants /cafes along this stretch to the Jetfoil terminal. The hotel was being renovated while we were there but I was rarely in it between 7am and 5pm when the workers were there. The hotel seems to be an old French colonial villa with a grand staircase leading up to the rooms - we actually booked the sufficient deluxe but 'upgraded' to a Suite B later on that had a bed to die for - best bed I've ever slept in. There are some minor niggles like the hot water delay in the showers, and electric sockets buried under the bedside lockers - awkward for charging computers and phones, but overall it's a good hotel in a good location in a pleasant city.

Fourth visit to Vung Tau . This is a good area to stay, not noisy but no beach, it's ok bcs the pool is great. My room facing the sea is great. The kids love the pool. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is simple local spread. The distance to the famous Thanh Phat seafood is about 15mins away, anyway the metered taxi is cheap to go everywhere. The cable car station to Hoi May park is within walking distance. 300vnd for cable car ride and amusement park game for free is worth a visit for family with kids. Highly recommend, keep it up.

I booked this hotel for one night during my business trip. The location is closed to both park and beach. Many coffee shops around the hotel. The hotel is quite old, but they clean them well. Only the fridge and bathtub are outdated, I think they were used more than 10 years. The complimentary bottles of water were a local band. The smell was like tap water. I could not drink it. However, their services were nice. Fast check-in and check-out. The breakfast was fine for 3 star hotel. Variety of foods; Vietnamese; Korean; and some western foods. The foods taste ok for me. All in all, the hotel is a good choice for 3 star hotel. By the way, the Agoda price is cheaper than the walk-in price. I booked one more day. The price was a bit more expensive.

Another hotel I have stayed in over the past 8 years. Staff really friendly and pleasant, willing to help in anyway they can. Price good with breakfast, other meals good although menu hasn't changed much. Beer always cold, aircon in all rooms that actually work, staff at the front desk will help you will travel arrangements back to Ho Chi Minh. Will stay there again on my next visit.

I used Agoda to book a room at Pacific Hotel (a budget hotel), located in Vung Tau, Vietnam. After spending three nights and four days at Pacific Hotel, I have mixed impression. The superior twin room that I dwelled-in was very clean and was much larger than other superior twins at other budget hotels (about thirty-five squared meters), while the air-conditioned unit was strong enough to cool the airy room. The toilet was another matter. It required about thirty minutes between flushes (i.e. to fill the entire tank with water), while, overall, the bathroom lacked sufficient complimentary soap and shampoo. However, since the hotel is centrally located next to a popular public park and a populous beach (both are located in Front Beach, near the hydrofoil station, while the greyhound racetrack is nearby, and multitude of bars and food stalls abound), together with clean spacious rooms, I still recommend Pacific Hotel.

I booked a deluxe room for $24 and I will say that this is the nicest room I have booked so far in Vietnam. Stylishly remodeled about one year ago. Hardwood floors; matching dark wood furniture; beautifully tiled bathroom with glass enclosed shower; nice Samsung flat panel tv with English sports and movie channels (although all the channels were fuzzy - perhaps they need to realign the satellite dish); comfy mattress with a thick soft comforter; and very quiet, right up until about 7am when the streets begin to buzz with motorbike traffic. Reception staff speak excellent English and are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site that serves reasonably priced meals, and also a bar with a pool table. Very convenient. It is a short walk to a beautiful park filled with interesting sculptures and from there to the sea side. You are not near a beach, but a harbor filled with fishing boats, very scenic location. Just to the north is the cable car, just to the south is the ferry stop, and farther around the corner is the giant Jesus statue. If you want to walk on the beach, you will have to hire a taxi. Restaurants and bars are numerous in this part of town. All that said, this is a great hotel! I will definitely be back!

we arrive at airport hcm city and take the bus no 152 from the airport which take us direct to the hcm city central bus station. it cost us or around. from there we did 10 minutes walk to the ferry jetty eventhough we can take another bus to the jetty. the hydrofoil ferry cost us or usd10. we arrive at the vung tau jetty 2 hours later and walk to lam son hotel. the hotel is located near town where there are access to few restaurant, salon and spa, etc. its basically an old hotel however very well maintained and clean. it also has all the cable movie channel, a massage spa in-house and restaurant.

i stay a night at song huong which located behind rex hotel and royal hotel. in fact, my room on 2nd floor oversee the rex massage spa entrance. the hotel is an old hotel, however, it is very clean, has a spacious room, cozy wall to wall carpeted, wooden furniture and a balcony.it cost less than usd30 compared to royal hotel and rex hotel, considered cheap. it has all the cabel tv channel and great restaurant with reasonable price for dining. it location is also within less than 3 minutes walk to the town square.
