Hotels near Post Office

I've found this hotel by looking for people recommendations in Agoda website, we can stay at 5th star hotel with good offer price from Agoda. I read that we can easily found the hotel shuttle bus in the ferry terminal, but in fact when we're arrived at the terminal, none sign board for Royal Hotel shuttle bus or stand by person in charge for Royal. Not like other hotel that put their people to hold the sign board & welcoming their guess. I've to ask so many people where to stand waiting for Royal's shuttle, we're waiting for 30 minutes until we saw the shuttle bus. Later on I just knew that only 1 shuttle provided by this hotel. The location of this hotel in the center of city, I guess...since we're passed thru small road. While arrived at hotel, so many people are waiting for the hotel lift...when I asked the front desk officer, he told me that the hotel was fully booked by group. In this hotel, we've to present the hotel voucher, since we don't have it. The officer were welcoming us to use the business centre facility to print it out. Nice impression of this hotel when we're entering the room, it's bigger that Island Pacific Hotel at Hongkong, with better environment, larger room & good room facilities. We've tried the cake & bread, good taste & price. Taxi to Ruin St. Paul only MOP 15.

The hotel looks just from the outside, but when it comes to the room, my jaws just drop. Room is very big, it has a full set sofa, queen bed and an office desk. I only booked standard room, but they upgraded it to royal tower. However, I prefer the front tower because royal tower view is blocked by other buildings, and there has been a construction going on. For couple or family travelers, I suggest not to get down to the ground floor. Girls-for-sale walks around the shops on the ground floor and they are very aggressive. I was reading a menu on one restaurant that posted on the front wall, one of the girls walked right in front of me at a very high pace, although my face was only a foot away from the restaurant glass wall. I didn't really feel offensive but I just tried to avoid the ground floor from that moment on. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4 stars.

I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview!

Booked Family Room - 1 double & 1 single. Guest Relations Officer was wonderful to offer a free upgrade. We ended up having two double beds. Room was extremely spacious, comfortable and clean, with a shower area and separate bathtub. Hotel offer free shuttle to & from the Ferry Terminal to the hotel. There's a casino within the hotel and there's a nice swimming pool as well. It's a couple minutes away (walking) from the main street but there's public bus stops outside the hotel if you're lazy to walk and want to get to the tourist attractions. There's some decent restaurants around the hotel as well.

If you want to find a good bargain in Macau on Friday , saturday nights and at down center, this is your choice. Just cross the road to the Star hotel, their shuttle buses take you to all main attractions. Those tourist points and restaurants at down town are in walking distance. Front office staff are very helpful and polite, don't expect too much on the room, it was clean,comfortable and with all you expect in a 3 star hotel. However, if your stays are in weekday, there are better choices.

Housekeeping did good job to maintain the cleaning for the room. Front office maintain well operation and good service during busy period as well. Telephone operator prvoided good help for my question with beauitful telephone service manner. Health club staff good job. I would like to thank you for all of them. Good job. Hotel 's hardware has pretty designed and with high quality which is unexpected. So good. Hotel 's software which is the people, they are just Soo good. Hello, Given the fact we booked last minute and didn't want to spend too much we ended up in the Grand Lapa after taking an online promotion. We had a very good surprise and my kids (4 and 6 years old) wanted to stay longer than the 2 nights we booked for the week-end. It certainly used to be a top 5 stars Hotel but it's ageing now and even though it is still very good you can see it is not all renovated and modern. Pros: - "Old hotel" means pretty spacious bedroom and bathroom which is a plus for us. - Dated but everything was very clean - Heated outside swimming pool with a slide for the kids (even if heated pool, in November you don't stay 2h00 in the water as it gets chilly after 30-45 minutes). - Friendly staff - Nice garden and playroom (though a bit old too) that the kids loved - Close to the Fisherman's Wharf so you can go walking and the kids loved walking there - Taxi available quite easily in front of the hotel - Old downtown Macau and Largo do Senado can be reached walking (but take between 20-30 minutes with the kids). If you take a taxi it literally takes lass than 5 minutes. Cons: - Not too many restaurant close by (but you have 2 or 3 inside the hotel) - You have to cross a public place (but no road) behind the hotel to access the spa/swimming pool, gardens and playroom. It's not really a cons but it's not quick to go back to your room if you forgot something. If you are looking for luxury and last modern commodity, it might not suit you. We are usually staying at 3 star hotels so an old 5 stars hotel was just a perfect stay for us. We would definitely recommend it and would go back again if we have the occasion.

It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing

I loved Sintra Hotel! The location is excellent --very near the tourist attractions like the Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul, Casino Lisboa. There is a bus stop a minute away from the hotel, and you can ride the bus to go to the Macau Tower, Fisherman's Wharf and other places. It also provides free shuttle to the Macau Ferry Terminal, where you can hop on the free shuttle service to The Venetian and City of Dreams. Very convenient. The room itself was excellent too, very reminiscent of Shangri-la decor, beds and bath. It provides not only the basic shampoo and soap, but also a shower gel, cotton, q-tips, sewing kit, shaving kit. It also has an LCD TV featuring many English channels (not just Chinese channels). The view outside our room wasnt very nice, but we hardly look out the window anyway. The service was excellent. Everyone from the waitresses at the restaurant, the reception staff, the bellhop and the guards were very helpful and friendly. The guards and the bellhop speak English very well, and they can give you good directions and tips. Two minutes away from the hotel is Margaret's Cafe, serving yummy and cheap sandwiches, great coffee and the best portuguese egg tarts. All in all, it's two thumbs up for Hotel Sintra! If I ever go back to Macau, I will definitely book here again, and will recommend the hotel to all.

Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed Caravel hotel. I love the luxurious feel of the sheets n pillows. It’s like you’re in a 5 star hotel. L’ Occitane shampoo, conditioner., bath gel are a nice touch. I love that there are lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, also. There’s a blow dryer also hidden in the closet drawer where the safe is. The room is small but it’s plenty for a couple. Love the hot cocoa machine. n they have a coffee machine also.. It was a nice walk to sightseeing locations! Bring your comfy shoes.

The stay at the hotel was very nice. I booked an executive room and was unaware that I could have gone straight up to the 16th floor to check in. The speedy checkout process in the business lounge was nice and fast. I was unable to find a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They appear to share a shuttle with another chain with Emperor labeled on the outside of the van. Much smaller than the big chains vans. They did have a shuttle to the ferry terminal which was good. For those with onward travel to HKG you have to ensure your time between landing and flight departure is at least 2 hours. I was unable to take the direct ferry to the airport because I would have only had 1.5 hours.

i have postponed my check in date one day after and my problem was finally solve by the hotel front office staff, who is just a little girl but managed to cool me down and solve the problem with full passion from mid-night until 1.00am althrough i was very upset with the arrangement by agoda, but the hotel able to adjust the best to suit customer. well done & great service.

Pros - 1)unbelievable steam shower, 2)jacouzzi in the bathroom 3)tv screens everywhere 4)view was amazing 5)staff very friendly and always wanting to please 6) best location - we could walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go Cons - 1)renovations going on , on lower floors and nobody told us until we complained about the noise and got moved. 2) the only reason i booked this hotel was because i read somewhere that it had the best views for new years eve fireworks .....well there werent any! So very disappointed!! 3) a bit of a communication problem - a lot of the staff were very friendly but dont speak or understand english very well, or should i say, we dont speak chinese at all! So there were a few times where they didnt know wot we were asking for.

Once we reached Macau airport, we took shuttle bus, we walked towards the direction of Hotel Lisboa and St Ruins. Once you reached the centre of macau (near to post office), can ask around for the direction of 国华(Guo hua) 电影院 and 哪吒庙 (towns well is near to this two landmark. If you asked local about towns well, they didnt know). But be cautious because there are two 哪吒庙 and we got so confused by different people pointing to all different direction because they are all refering to different 哪吒庙. So its better to ask for direction of 国华电影院 (already closed down but the building is still there) and ask phamarcy (they seems to be more familiar than any passer-by). Btw, the chinese name of Towns well is 镇兴宾馆. Its also good to know the hotel name by chinese because some of them only know it by its chinese name. Once you see 国华电影院,turn into a small alley beside and look for Espirit clothing. The hotel is just beside it. As for the hotel condition, air conditioning is quite cooling. There is water heater provided and private toilet for each room (unlike other hostel where common toilet is used). The not-so-satisfied is of the bed. My friend was complaining that the bed is too hard. The hair dryer (maybe it's only our room) is not hot and there is no mini fridge. A few times, the door system is not so sensitive that we have to get down to ask the staff to activate for us. Its very near to St Ruins and if you know the way, you can walk to the nearest Mc-donald (can ask direction from the staff) and take bus to other places around Macau. The public bus around Macau is very accessible. But take note that the opposite direction doesnt go opposite way and make sure you have coins because they dont give changes.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. There are a lot of ways to go to the hotel, but this is how we do it. Opposite senado, walk straight (away from post office) until you reach Matadouro st. Get in and the first corner to your right is the Ole Tai Sam Un hotel. Check in and check out is straightforward. There is HK$300 refundable deposit. The room is clean but small, enough size for a couple with no big luggages. No minibar. There is a window but overlooking a building wall. Our room is near to the elevator, but it didn't bother us...it was quiet and we had a good sleep. We availed of the buffet breakfast with a minimal fee. It was ok, it wasn't something for you to jump up and down. Just enough to fill the stomach. They can store your luggage for free after check out. There are many local restaurants near the hotel but we haven't tried any because they are always full. Outside of the hotel, to your right, walk straight and you can reach Sofitel Ponte 16. You can see also a lot of local restaurants along the way. Taxis pass by in front of the hotel. We were always lucky to get a vacant taxi everytime we need it.

I like this Best Western Hotel Sun Sun Macau because it is very good location near to my relative apartment and convenient for us to meet up. One of your front office staff Miss Doris is very helpful and help us carry our heavy luggage to the taxi infront of your hotel when we check out. I comment that all the front office staff are very helpful and friendly. The AVIS transportation counter Miss Chan is also very friendly . Praises for all the front office staff , doormen , housekeeping staff too. I will come back to stay again at this hotel provided that they do not increase their prices. At the moment the price is reasonable.

Our stay was perfect. We stayed last May 25-26. I love everything about this hotel -- the facade, the lobby, the ambiance, the space, the room, food, THE VIEW -- perfect. My requests prior to check in were accomodated, making our stay special. Elmer at the Concierge was very helpful. Thumbs up! The hotel rates itself as 3-star, well, so far the best 3-star hotel for us! We will definitely stay in the same hotel when we go back to Macau.

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

The location is a bit far from Taipa Ferry Terminal, but walking distance from 拱北 Border Gate. It is better to have shuttle bus service available in every terminal. Hotel outlook and facilities are good. Front office staffs are nice and they also upgraded my room. The room is big enough and clean. However, pillows are too soft and flat, though we can request to change. I was also impressed by the buffet breakfast which has variety of choices and taste good. Overall, it is worth to book in this reasonable price.

Holiday Inn Macau was referred to me by my friends who has a lot of nice words for Holiday Inn. I was so satisfied with my 3 days 2 nights accomodations. The free shuttle was a plus points and I didn't have a hard time looking for the shuttle bacause of the color of the bus although the shuttle was quite small compared to the hotel giants. It was situated near an ATM Machine for quick and emergency withdrawal, a 7-11 convenience store for midnight snack. Staff at the Lobby was very, very helpful and accomodating. In fact, I followed what the reception told me. The food addict in me asked for the BEST egg tart and Portuegese Restraurant and indeed, I was so satisfied and I am cravinf for it now again. The location to the main strip of the hotel giants was not so far. You won't get lost as long as you follow the map. I would surely recommend this hotel to anyone who's on the look out for Budget friendly and a very helpful staff combined and to backpackers who would travel to Macau for the first time.

I have no expectations when I booked at this hotel since we will only stay here for 1 night. I booked 2 rooms since we're 6 in the group. I checked their website and tried to sent email asking for directions but the email went back. ( I think email on their website is not working anymore). When we arrived at Macau via Turbojet we were approached by a fellow Fillipina and we asked for direction. She mentioned that we need to take bus 3A Praca Ponte Horte/Terminal but we're so excited so as soon as we saw bus 3A we hopped in. We took bus 3APortas Do Cerco Terminal so it took us an hour to figure our way back.Not everyone speak English as well and good thing the one that I asked when we got off at Portas Do Cerco Terminal showed us that way and he tried his very best that we should take another bus 3A Ponte Horte/terminal and we can see our hotel. It took us 30 minutes because it's traffic an it's raining. This is the last stop and as soon as we get off the bus we saw Macau Masters Hotel. The facade of the building is old and not that attractive but the inside is just fine.They charged the fee a 2 days before our stay so it was easy during check in.They have small cafeteria and lobby but clean. The elevator is also small so max of 3-4 per ride and you need your room key to get up to your desired floor. We were surprised to see our room because it's big with standard twin beds. There's also 2 chairs and table with cabinet and small ref inside. Their TV is also big and there's enough space to put things on the table. With complimentary drinks and water heater if you want to drink coffee. The restroom is big as well and with hot/cold shower and batch tub. They have extra bed sheets and comforters inside the cabinet and hangers for your clothes. There's enough bed pillows as well. The room is clean and they have room heater as well. There's free wifi as well. My nephew got too excited in opening cabinets and the door fell off but good thing he was able to move r

MGM is a famous 5-star hotel group and we are willing to stay for a long long time. Foe the trip to Macau this time, we finally have chance to stay in Macau. We made a reservation for the non-smoking room. Check In at 15:00 while staff said still not yet clear up and may be need to wait until 16:00. we go to casino and wait for the time pass and we back to the front office again on 16:00, staff said the room are not yet ready and it may take for another 45mins for the room. We felt disappointed and we need to have dinner around 18:00, therefore we only can take to smoking room for this time which the staff promised will have the air fresh services. We go up to the room and the room are smelly which make up upset. And the staff come to room after 20mins and said need to have the air refresh services. it shown that they do not done what they promise. I think they can improve for the 5 star services.

I had booked a Deluxe City View and Wynn gave me a free upgrade. The room was the best room I have ever seen in my life. It's spotless clean, it's got all the amenities you can thing of and the view was simply breath taking. The front desk were really accommodating and acted like a real 5 star service reps. The location was central and you could walk to all of the surrounding hotels. Overall, I can't say a single bad thing about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

The standard single room which I stay for 5 nights is rather small, but the bed is large enough for myself and the cleanliness of the room is superb, fully equipped with amenities, kettle, hair dryer etc. They clean the room every morning Aircon works well and there's English Channel on tv that I can watch everyday. The drawer big enough to hang our clothes This hotel is very near to various ancient landmarks of Macao, easy to go by bus to every direction. The only complain I have is a cleaning service lady with short hair who is very rude , the rest are very friendly. Overall, I'm fully satisfied staying in this hotel! From the airport you can take bus #MT1 and stop at Freirra Amaral in front of Grand Lisboa Casino. From there then take bus #7 stop at Kiang Wu Hospital (5 stops from Freirra Amaral) then walk about 3 minutes to McDonald's and the Holiday Hotel is very near to Super market 711. On the way back to the airport you have to go to the bus stop in front of Post Office (10 minutes walk from the hotel) then take either bus number 8, 9, 9B, 12, 22, 25, 25B (only 3 stops) to Freirra Amaral. From there you must take bus number MT1 to Macao International Airport. Please take note, bus #MT1 only available every 20 minutes from 07:00 am.

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.
