"I've found this hotel by looking for people recommendations in Agoda website, we can stay at 5th star hotel with good offer price from Agoda. I read that we can easily found the hotel shuttle bus in the ferry terminal, but in fact when we're arrived at the terminal, none sign board for Royal Hotel shuttle bus or stand by person in charge for Royal. Not like other hotel that put their people to hold the sign board & welcoming their guess. I've to ask so many people where to stand waiting for Royal's shuttle, we're waiting for 30 minutes until we saw the shuttle bus. Later on I just knew that only 1 shuttle provided by this hotel. The location of this hotel in the center of city, I guess...since we're passed thru small road. While arrived at hotel, so many people are waiting for the hotel lift...when I asked the front desk officer, he told me that the hotel was fully booked by group. In this hotel, we've to present the hotel voucher, since we don't have it. The officer were welcoming us to use the business centre facility to print it out. Nice impression of this hotel when we're entering the room, it's bigger that Island Pacific Hotel at Hongkong, with better environment, larger room & good room facilities. We've tried the cake & bread, good taste & price. Taxi to Ruin St. Paul only MOP 15."

"The hotel looks just from the outside, but when it comes to the room, my jaws just drop. Room is very big, it has a full set sofa, queen bed and an office desk. I only booked standard room, but they upgraded it to royal tower. However, I prefer the front tower because royal tower view is blocked by other buildings, and there has been a construction going on. For couple or family travelers, I suggest not to get down to the ground floor. Girls-for-sale walks around the shops on the ground floor and they are very aggressive. I was reading a menu on one restaurant that posted on the front wall, one of the girls walked right in front of me at a very high pace, although my face was only a foot away from the restaurant glass wall. I didn't really feel offensive but I just tried to avoid the ground floor from that moment on. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4 stars."

"I loved Sintra Hotel! The location is excellent --very near the tourist attractions like the Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul, Casino Lisboa. There is a bus stop a minute away from the hotel, and you can ride the bus to go to the Macau Tower, Fisherman's Wharf and other places. It also provides free shuttle to the Macau Ferry Terminal, where you can hop on the free shuttle service to The Venetian and City of Dreams. Very convenient. The room itself was excellent too, very reminiscent of Shangri-la decor, beds and bath. It provides not only the basic shampoo and soap, but also a shower gel, cotton, q-tips, sewing kit, shaving kit. It also has an LCD TV featuring many English channels (not just Chinese channels). The view outside our room wasnt very nice, but we hardly look out the window anyway. The service was excellent. Everyone from the waitresses at the restaurant, the reception staff, the bellhop and the guards were very helpful and friendly. The guards and the bellhop speak English very well, and they can give you good directions and tips. Two minutes away from the hotel is Margaret's Cafe, serving yummy and cheap sandwiches, great coffee and the best portuguese egg tarts. All in all, it's two thumbs up for Hotel Sintra! If I ever go back to Macau, I will definitely book here again, and will recommend the hotel to all. "

"If you want to find a good bargain in Macau on Friday , saturday nights and at down center, this is your choice. Just cross the road to the Star hotel, their shuttle buses take you to all main attractions. Those tourist points and restaurants at down town are in walking distance. Front office staff are very helpful and polite, don't expect too much on the room, it was clean, comfortable and with all you expect in a 3 star hotel. However, if your stays are in weekday, there are better choices."

"My experience staying at grand emperor hotel was a very pleasant & an enjoyable one. The hotel facilities are well equipped, hotel room is spacious & cosy. The hotel breakfast was a heartily spread. And I want to specially compliment two of their customer service officers, Ms Yoyo Saw & Ms Nicole Wong. These two ladies service were great, they treat their customers like prestige guest, they will go the extra mile helping us hire a cab, explaining to us with great patient, do their best to fulfill our requests & they never fail to put on a smile. Overall the stay at this hotel was really a great one. I am very happy & satisfied with their great service, & would definitely stay in again should I re-visit Macau. Highly recommended."

"Honestly I was looking last minute for the cheapest room in Maccau (A place I have never been). I found this one for $72 USD a night. The cheapest. I was a bit worried it would be some flea bag hotel . I arrived in Maccau around midnight and grabbed a taxi. All free shuttles to hotels had already stopped. I asked a friendly Filipino janitor how much a cab should be to the Metropark Hotel. He told me the Taxi driver would ask 50 MOP but it should only be 30 or 35 MOP. Armed with that information I caught a taxi quite easily out front. The driver asked 100 MOP. Putting on my "shocked yet likable" face I told him I only had 50 MOP. He said we had two options: Go to the ATM or he could drop me off back at the airport. He had me so I said "Okay well I guess it is 100 then". On the way I made some light conversation saying it was my first trip to Maccau and how excited I was to be there. He only charged me 90 MOP. The room was fantastic! Just short of luxury. A+"
