The location is quite good and convenient. We just need 15 min walk to Senado Square and Ruins of St Paul's. Morever, we can find a lot of foods and shopping around the corner, at the same time if you are looking for lunch, we would strongly recommend the special crab meat noodle at Dragon Mama Cuisine restaurant (add: Rua Da Felicidade No.51). We have saved money on transportation because Hotel Royal provided shuttle bus service with good route.

Personally i would recommend friends to stay in Hotel Lisboa, the location is good and convenient. We can access to the nearest shopping area and the St Paul old church "da san ba". We also can take the tricycle ride. The "tricycle uncle" is very friendly and believe the tricycle will be getting lesser in the future. The first impression when we walked in the room is "waaa" -- for the european design , although not very luxury but the room space is worth what we paid. THe price that we booked via Agoda is the best compare to others and also cheapest than booking directly from the Hotel. Furthermore, you'll find the best price and rewards from shopping around Agoda for the hotel room

I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview!

I travel to Macau 3D2N with two young children. One thing really attract me about this hotel is the comfort and location. Room is big and free upgraded to bigger room with 1 double bed and 1 super size single bed which can fit in four of us! My children feels happy inside the room and they prefer to stay in the room than outside! lol..... Water pressure and temperature are great! (I am very particular on this) To most attraction, you need to walk behind the building to catch a bus which is only 1 or 2min away. To most attraction, by bus, it take about 3 to 6 stops depends on the location which is super duber convenient. For 4 of us, the average bus fare is about MOP4.20 per person, one way, thanks to the hotel location. Honestly, you dont have to take taxi which is far more costly. Opposite, across the road, you have 7-11 convenient store, money exchange, famous chain store for food souvenirs. The buffet breakfast cost about MOP120.00 per pax (include tax) and we didnt take that as there are few restaurant just few steps away. For asian foods, step out from the hotel entrance, turn right..two block ahead, you spot a nice and cheap restaurant for breakfast! Overall, I love this hotel very much and I definitely will come back again.

stayed for one night in a standard room with my wife. booked it from agoda on a promotion, room only without breakfast. no problems at check in, which was fast and efficient. room was huge and had a good view of the city. luxurious feel. bed was very comfortable. cable channels were good. the bathroom too was impressive. there was even a television in the bath area. separate shower area. the best thing was that it was one street away from where i was wanting to bring my wife - the r. da felicidade where the biscuits shops were. walk a little more and it is the heart of the shopping area. shuttle services were also reliable and convenient. we throughly enjoyed macau and this hotel was part of the good memory.

We stayed for a long weekend and were delighted to find a remnant of old style Macau with not a hint of glitz and mass tourism in sight! We loved the sweeping old staircase in the entrance hall reminiscent of the old Portuguese style with the gallery surrounding it which formed part of the Vasco Da Gama bar. The coffee shop was delightful with rattan chairs on the balcony overlooking trees which gave the impression of a leafy garden. Our stay was made by beautiful weather which enabled us to enjoy the perfectly located pool. The pool attendants were very attentive and the iced water delivered frequently at the poolside was a lovely touch. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only negatives were it was hard to find the hotel bus on arrival at the main pier but Departing from the hotel was efficient with the timetable displayed on a pillar outside. Another small thing was it was hard to get a hot cup of coffee at breakfast as it was delivered lukewarm. The service was slow. Perhaps a system of a cafetiere delivered to every table would solve this? We understand you are about to do some renovations to the hotel. The rooms are lovely so please do not change them too much. Perhaps the bathrooms could be aesthetically smartened up a little. You have a hidden gem in the midst of a rapidly changing city. There are many of us from old Hong Kong who love and treasure the history and character of Macau. Thank you for restoring our sanity in 3 days!

It was indeed a stay worth rating. The location was superb; it was near several key bus stops that goes to and from in Macau. It was also quite near for take-home goodies and a wide variety of gastronomic choices to choose from including a Filipino restaurant. The rooma were clean and these were cleaned regularly during our stay. The front desk was very accomodating; even if we arrived early at the hotel and was not permitted to check in early, they secured our things and even tied a knot on our luggage for us to feel secured while we went out prior to 2pm. The bill was worth paying for having noted the aforesaid comments. The downside however was the shower... it ia quite old and perhaps it needs fixing. There were bursts of water from every whole the shower had. Likewise, it is also recommended the lobby would have additional waiting room. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. We will probably be booking at this hotel in the near future.. God willing

The hotel is situated across the road from the Grand Lisboa, which makes it very accessible to the main attractions. Easy walk to the shops and Senado Square as well as all the great restaurants around Rue da Felicidade. The free shuttle to and from Cotai was terrific and saved us from getting taxis everywhere. Our room was very spacious, clean and quiet at night even though it faced the main road. Highly recommend if you just need decent place to crash and don't want to spend an exorbitant amount.

Basic 3 star room amenities with electric kettle and cups/glasses. No WiFi access. No complimentary bottled water, coffee or tea. The hotel is located nearby the Red market and three lamps district 三盞燈. There's convenient store nearby, namely San Miu Supermarket 新苗超級市場, opens from 8am till 12am midnight. There are also bakery shops and a McDonald's along the street Avenida de Horta e Costa 高士德街. From International airport, just take Bus AP1/26A to Macau ferry terminal/Border Gate, fare is MOP/HKD/RMB 4.20. Then get buses to the street Avenida de Horta e Costa: Bus 5,6,6A,9,9A,22, 25,25X,28C,32 &etc, fare is MOP/HKD/RMB 3.20. Look out for Bank of China at the junction of Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira 俾利喇街 and the hotel is next to it.

Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed Caravel hotel. I love the luxurious feel of the sheets n pillows. It’s like you’re in a 5 star hotel. L’ Occitane shampoo, conditioner., bath gel are a nice touch. I love that there are lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, also. There’s a blow dryer also hidden in the closet drawer where the safe is. The room is small but it’s plenty for a couple. Love the hot cocoa machine. n they have a coffee machine also.. It was a nice walk to sightseeing locations! Bring your comfy shoes.

I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Pros - 1)unbelievable steam shower, 2)jacouzzi in the bathroom 3)tv screens everywhere 4)view was amazing 5)staff very friendly and always wanting to please 6) best location - we could walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go Cons - 1)renovations going on , on lower floors and nobody told us until we complained about the noise and got moved. 2) the only reason i booked this hotel was because i read somewhere that it had the best views for new years eve fireworks .....well there werent any! So very disappointed!! 3) a bit of a communication problem - a lot of the staff were very friendly but dont speak or understand english very well, or should i say, we dont speak chinese at all! So there were a few times where they didnt know wot we were asking for.

Quite hard to find restaurant here, except you want to eat at hotel's restaurant or Mcd. Location quite good for shoppers, a lot of international brand store arround this hotel, for example : esprit, ecco, nine west, bossini, giordano, sasa, etc Good english speaking and helpfull staff, hotel have vending machine for drink and local sim card.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. Upon check out, Jack helped us with the luggage and helped us on how to get to the bus station going to Hong Kong The overall experience is really great my parents anniversarry become extra special as what Ros

I checked in there at Jan 22 2013, we are two. Actually its not located at Rua da Felicidade 43-45 -as written my agoda booking receipt-, but its located at the next block; Rua de Caldeira. Strategic location. It is very near from historical tourism place in Macau such as Senado Square, Macau Museum, Ruins of St. Paul Church, etc. If you want to go to Wynn or Grand Lisboa, you can reach there by bus, 10 minutes from this hotel. I think its hard to find backpacker hotel in Macau as comfort as this hotel. The price was a bit higher than others backpacker hostel, but its worth because of good service and very comfort room we've got.

The location is good and convenient. Only 2 min walk to the nearest bus stop and 15 min walk to most of the place of attractions. Though they don't have a shuttle bus like the casino hotels do, but you may take the public bus no.26 and get off at the station Rua Das Lorchas. There’s a small park with small fountain right in front of the hotel. The hotel room is clean and cozy. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable as well. If possible you may request for higher level. You may either get a view of Ruins of St Paul or a view of the harbour. From the hotel, it’s only walking distance to most of the place of attractions, eg, Senardo Square, Ruins of St Paul, A-Ma temple, Mandarin House, etc. Can easily get good and cheap foods around the hotel. There’s also 7-eleven convenient store, pharmacy and also a small supermarket. near the hotel. There's also an old pastries store near to the hotel that sell traditional and local snack/cookies which worth the purchase for friends and family. Satisfied with our 4 nights stay. Overall we do have a pleasant stay.

Our stay was perfect. We stayed last May 25-26. I love everything about this hotel -- the facade, the lobby, the ambiance, the space, the room, food, THE VIEW -- perfect. My requests prior to check in were accomodated, making our stay special. Elmer at the Concierge was very helpful. Thumbs up! The hotel rates itself as 3-star, well, so far the best 3-star hotel for us! We will definitely stay in the same hotel when we go back to Macau.

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are good (L'OCCITANE). Really feel like a living in a super luxurious home in overseas with 5 stars hotel services. Location is also good ( Stone throw to MGM and few mins walk to Wynn and Starworld). Highly recommended to all type of travellers!

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

We went to check in early but need to wait until 3pm to check in into the Grand Suite. We went to the buffet which cost 418++ and the food is just excellent. Worth the price as the seafood, Chinese food and the variety spoilt our choices and I filled every bit of space in my stomach. When we went back to the receptionist at 4.30 pm, they made a mistake and told me that our room is not ready. My wife was frustrated but the staff was quick to make amendments and gave us a free 1 room super suite upgrade at level 24. The room is the best we could every imagine and it is too luxurious for only both of us. The amenities inside made us speechless and the view made us awake and would not want to sleep. They provide the corner unit which we had the maximum view. We have complimentary soft drinks in the fridge and we could not ask for more. Lastly, the conceirge staff is the best as she recommended us the right place to visit and help to provide all relevant details to book the turbojet back to HK. Thumbs up !

I took a day off from Hong Kong to visit Macau. I selected this hotel because it was very close to the main Turbojet ferry terminal (though not for Cotai and other ferries). Hotel is visible from the ferry itself. There is an airconditioned elevated walkway for two thirds of the distance to the hotel - which made life easy for me since I had my suitcase. Outstanding location for this purpose. Hotel itself was very nice. Rooms and bathrooms were of adequate size and well furnished to 4 star standards and worth what I paid for it. A few tips for Indian travellers: Many reviews say the bed is hard - but the hardness is similar to coirfoam and sleepwell mattresses which I use at home and I did not find it a problem. Only those used to spring mattresses will find it hard. Bathroom has no hand flush or bidet system, so be prepared. If you are a vegetarian, there is absolutely nothing to eat near the hotel - be prepared to travel very far to find food. Shops nearby (there are many) will sell you bread, cheese slices and butter only. Nobody speaks English and people including shopkeepers are very rude. A few tips for family travellers: This hotel has entire floors dedicated to "services" like Sauna 18 (which means "massage services" if you get my meaning) and table dancing (that is what it says on the lift button). Outsiders also come. The latter apparently is an adult show where a man and woman do "everything" in front of a crowded audience - touted to me as a f*** show. This is not a place to take children unless you want to answer some embarassing questions - and definitely not for adolescents. The casino has mainly black jack and if you dont speak Chinese and are not a gambler, you cant understand anything at all. Rooms are full of smoke. There is no Roulette (it is there in 3-4 nearby Giant sized casinos - Macau is full of casinos around every corner, full of smoke and crowd). There are good buses nearby to go all over Macau. Great location for sight

I had booked a Deluxe City View and Wynn gave me a free upgrade. The room was the best room I have ever seen in my life. It's spotless clean, it's got all the amenities you can thing of and the view was simply breath taking. The front desk were really accommodating and acted like a real 5 star service reps. The location was central and you could walk to all of the surrounding hotels. Overall, I can't say a single bad thing about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

I totally suggest travellers to Macau bring an iPad with map and GPS service with u( such as Google Map HD or Baidu Map HD) . U wont need cellular network but can know exactly where u r in circling located streets and lanes and the route to ur destination. Bus 26 is very useful when u want to reach this hotel from Macau Int'l Airport. The stop is just around the corner, "Est. de Coelho da Amaral / Kiang Wu Hospital" As for the route from hotel to Airport, take 26 from "Rua Do Guimaraes". Walk west until the coast and then u see the stop. About 10 mins walk. U should look all these up in advance to secure a safe and budget trip.

before i start, this hotel would have got across the board 5 stars but for one thing. we paid almost 150 euro for our room. for one night. this did not includ breakfast and while the room was excellent (probably the nicest we've stayed in), you can't call it value for money when wifi is not included in the room and breakfast isn't included. as for everything else, well the room was splendid. the ensuite was huge with a portable tv, jacuzzi bath tub, rain shower, and huge counter top and mirror, all laid out in white marble. the walk-in wardrobe was bigger than some cars i've driven. they provided top of the range electronics too, two 40" tvs in the room, brilliant iron and a videl sasoon hairdryer. the bed was king size and while we didn't spend very long it (thanks to the casino downstairs!) it was from memory very comfortable. next to the sleeping area is a lounge with sofa for maybe 5-6 people, coffee tables, arm chairs and the second of the two widescreen tvs. really, the best thing about the sands was the room experience. everything else was great, but if you like your creature comforts and can afford the price, then go for it.
