I am impress with this hotel. Although not new, this hotel still offers nice comfy stay with a generous room size and king bed. check in and check out were smooth and effiecient. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. you can walk from the hotel to the Ruin of St. Paul but will take around 20-30 mins. We took taxi back to the hotel after spending a couple of hours in Senado Square and costed us 35MOP. I will recommend this hotel to family and surely stay here again for my next trip.

Must check in into Hotel Lisboa early,(11am to 12pm) so that you can ask for a higher floor with smoke free room.(Better View)Remember to bring additional($ HKD)as deposit to Hotel Lisboa.(Refunable Deposit) Hotel Lisboa is one of the Best Hotel, I stayed at in Macau. The room are medium size(Superior)but clean, smoke free with amenities including toiletries and bath accessories. There's complimentary mini bar fridge with free drink & free drink.(6 drink & 1 macau beer)Which can be refilled daily upon request.(All contents are free inside the mini bar fridge, but you must leave all the empty can you drink on the table. Enjoyed the massage shower with built in steam bath(Jacuzzi)& Hydrotherapy to soothe aching muscles after a day walk at bathroom. (Can ask house keeping for help if you do not know how to use.) Classic elegance & museum quality art display in the lobby throughout. Hotel Lisboa is right in the heart of Macau. Hotel Lisboa is walking distance to all the famous attractions. (Senado square,Sam Kai Vui Kun Temple, Holy Mercy of Macau, St Dominic's Church, ruin's of St Paul's Church & other. Hotel Lisboa Concierge was very helpful when we call for help. If you want to enjoy your Macau trips & see more of the city. You must do some homework. To check & find out from your friends where to go, where to eat, where to shop, which Casino or Hotel to Visit.Plan your jounery well. Restaurant Tip: Try the Dim Sum Restaurant on the 4 floor opposite Grand Emperor Hotel. Food Tip: Try the morning breakfast(Mixed pork porridge with pig blood) around/near senado square. Try the Magaret egg tart at ABCD building along the (Av. Do Infante Dom Henngue Road) Ask around if you do not know where.

We stayed last January 17-18 , 2018 in this hotel. We arrived in Outer Harbor and look for the free shuttle of Rio Hotel. We just waited for 10-15 mins for the free shuttle and went straight to the hotel. Upon check-in, I just presented my Agoda’s Hotel Voucher and my husband’s passport and LUCKILY we were upgraded to Suite Room, Thanks to Sir Wilson and Sir Jerry who assisted us in the reception. Sir Jerry said we were upgraded from standard to suite room because we booked though agoda. The room was spacious, clean , has a nice view (room 1610) , with 2 bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, the hotel has a beautiful lobby. If you want to go to venetian macau just ride rio hotel’s free shuttle going to outer harbor and then ride the bus of venetian. If you want to go to Senado Square from Rio hotel we rode #3 Bus, it will cost 3.2 mop/hkd . We enjoyed our stay here and we will still come back in this hotel. i booked my room well in advance and hence got a good discount. i visited in the beginning of dec which is peak period, so better to do advance booking, or else the prices will shoot up when u go there. rooms are big, spacious, clean and well done up. there's a coffee/ tea maker, safe and a minibar. theres also a study table with some sofas (this is the deluxe room). the bathroom is open with just a glass door separating it from the room. theres a tub, weighing scale and some toiletries too. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone since the rooms are beautiful and the location is excellent. it is walking distance from wynn, mgm grand, senado square, the temple, the lotus statue and st.paul ruins. you only need to take a bus to venetian which is in taipa and there's nothing around taipa (so best not to stay here). the only sad part of the hotel is that it doesnt have a 24 hour coffee shop / 24 hour room service. so if u have an early morning flight, like i did, you gotta go without breakfast. also if you like to have a mid-nite snack, this option is not available in the hotel and the closest you'll have to walk is to wynn. mgm grand too doesnt host a 24 hour resto/ coffee shop.

I really enjoyed staying at Ponte 16 Sofitel Macau last weekend. Since so many new hotels been built, I was worried to select this hotel. Because the hotel is alone itself in downtown Macau (The most famous ones, like the Venetian, Four Seasons, Banyan Tree, are in Taipa). But my concern was disappeared when I saw the hotel. It's the best location ever! Very close to St. Paul's and Senado Square (5-10 min. walking). Even you can go southwards where are there are the oldest confusciast temple and penya hill (has absolutely gorgeous view. The hotel room was nice and the staff were kind. But the club lounge managers were a little bossy. We enjoyed having evening cocktail and breakfast in club lounge.

Definitely one of my favorite hotels! Got a very good deal, and the staffs are great. We were upgraded to balcony suite on the 18th floor. Although it's facing the Waldo Casino and not the bay or city, it's still nice. Though the walls are thin, no major distraction occurred since we stayed there on weekends (no ongoing construction). Pools were nice, my 5 y/o nephew and I enjoyed the slide. There are heated, lukewarm and cold (because of the weather there around 20deg C) pools. Many Filipino staffs there willing to help with our itinerary. Free airport shuttle operates in the morning only. Sands Macao is just across so you can just ride their shuttle buses, mind you that Sands doesn't have direct bus to airport so we rode a taxi instead with 75mop bill coming from Grand Lapa, plus ~15mop on top of metered bill for our luggages. Senado Square is also near with only 30mop taxi bill, if you're time conscious. Fisherman's Wharf is nice, just across Grand Lapa and Sands, it's open 24/7.

We booked a room that's good for 3 people. The room was very pleasant and spacious and we had everything we needed for our stay. The shower area was great, we never had trouble with the shower heater which is usually the problem with other hotels. The air conditioner works fine. The TV was nice but there's really not much to watch if you don't speak Mandarin. The location of the hotel is also perfect as we never had a hard time getting to the tourist spots (it's very close to Senado Square) and back to hotel since it's located near the bus stops. The staff are also very accommodating and friendly. They were very quick in assisting us with our concerns. There are a lot of nearby restaurants and there's a store right around the area that sells Filipino products which I appreciate a lot. Overall, we had a very convenient stay and will surely this recommend to my friends.

after staying in our hong kong budget hotel, arriving in sintra was welcoming. we arrived 11am and they let us do the mandatory check-in but advised us that the room will only be available by 2pm. we decided to roam in senado square while waiting for our room since it is only about 10min walking distance to the hotel. their hotel staff provided us with maps and guidance on exploring senado square. after arriving at our room, we were surprise that it was spacious with all the toiletries prepared before us. the staff are friendly and helped us with our requests of extra bedroom slippers and adapter for our electronics. they also provide complimentary bottled water. the hotel provides free shuttle to the ferry terminal and there is a shuttle bus going to city of dreams just outside the hotel. the location was very good since we only need to walk to go to the tourist attraction. there is a nearby mall as well.

The hotel is not so far from Macau Ferry terminal just one ride in a bus. The staff are nice and responsive on inquiries. The room is big and had a good view of the city, good air conditioning, LCD tv and of course, they had cold and hot shower and a bath tub. well, a complete amenities. This hotel is good for walking tour, Ruins of Saint Paul, the Senado Square etc. You don't have to ride to reach those places, as we do.

Small bottles of l’occitane shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. ~a weighing scale and hairdryer is also available, we are just a bit disappointed because the comfort room does not have a bidet. ~breakfast choices can be improved. ~free internet connection ~non smoking hotel ❤️ ~ attentive, polite and kind staffs. The location is good, centrally located among the other casinos, among famous eateries and also near Senado Square (15 min walk) and St Paul (20 mins walk). Check in was quick, the rooms (with twin beds) was spacious, with a sizeable toilet, mini water cooler and foot massager. The deco was quite loud and gaudy, but acceptable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and was able to give advice and also provided assistance in room upgrade and baggage concierge. The slightly downside is the noise. Seems like the doors are not well insulated, so any movement at the corridor outside the room can be heard, especially opening and closing of other room doors. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

i like the hotel facade, it is cute and clean. we checked-in late and was greeted by an old man at the counter. i think he can't speak english since he has a paper ready with the instructions and just ask us to read it. we found the hotel ok but is small though tidy and complete with shampoo, soap, toothbrush, comb, razor, hair blower, water heater and tea and the best, free wifi! though we were given a room without window, which is the worst part of my stay since i don't like the feeling that i am contained in box, else it'll be perfect. location is good. it is near senado square and bus stops. there are shops around the area, food and fruit stalls. walking around the area seems safe since we tried walking to the hotel from the senado square late night.

This hotel is definitely the best hotel we stayed at. The hotel room is state of the art. Everything is automatic. The location of the hotel is very convinient. Located at the heart of Macau city,, just 10 min walk to Senado square and 10 min taxi drive to Macau Tower. It's accross Wyns and 3 blocks to MGM and Starworld Casino. The structure of the hotel is so unique and tall that it stands out from it's neighboring building you can even see it at Venetian Hotel (considering it's on the other side of the island) or at Senado Square. I would definitely stay on this hotel if I ever come back.

If you are not familiar with the Historical Senado Square of downtown Macau, you will have difficulty locating it although it is really very centrally located and extremely accessible to all part of Macau. It is a 2-minute walk to the Tourist Office at Senado Square/Avenida de Almeida Riberio. The hotel staff is very helpful and speak good English. The room is clean and huge for a downtown hotel and the rate I got was almost half of the downtown hotels I stayed in previous visits. I was given two bottles of drinking water every day. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants and food stalls surrounding the hotel. I definitely will stay here again.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. Upon check out, Jack helped us with the luggage and helped us on how to get to the bus station going to Hong Kong The overall experience is really great my parents anniversarry become extra special as what Ros

The Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel was perfect for us. Coming from the Taipa area, we just had to take the City of Dreams shuttle bus to the Sintra Hotel, walk a short distance and we found it not far from the Senado Square. Although reviews say that it would be hard to find, with a map and inquiries with the concierge of Sintra Hotel, we found it easy to find. The hotel is very new and the rooms are clean. The only downside is that you have to make sure the curtains are closed or the neighbors will see you in the room and in the bathroom. It would also have been better if the bathroom door and partition wall was not the smoked type. Yes, this rooms are not advisable if your roommate is not someone you are intimate with. You can see through the smoked bathroom walls and door. It only takes a five-minute walk to the Senado Square and along the way, you'll be passing through food shops where you can buy Macau delicacies for gifts to bring home. Since the Senado Square is near, just follow the road with the wavy line and you'll find yourself in the famous Ruins of St. Paul, as well as the market place where free food for tasting is available. The breakfast buffet offered by the hotel is also affordable and worth it. It was the only breakfast I had during my vacation to Macau and Hongkong that had me satisfied. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to travelers on a limited budget looking for a nice place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. This was our first trip to Macao. To our delight, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. On our first evening there, we were wondering how to find our way to the Senado Square (which was actually just about a 15mins walk away) and went to ask for directions at the hotel reception. A gentleman there, Mr. Charles who may be the manager of the hotel not only told us how to get there but actually took the trouble to show us the way by walking with us there! He also very kindly gave us a brief about the area as we walked towards the Senado Square. This was indeed least expected and we must say we are indeed very grateful to Mr. Charles for his kind gesture. The hotel is nice, room is clean and well maintained. Food shops are nearby and convenient. A great place to stay.

I wanted to stay on the mainland for the historic sites & found this hotel was within walking distance of the Outer Harbour ferry terminal. I booked a Superior City View room & as shown, the 45 m2 room was very spacious & ornately decorated.The balcony had a table & 2 chairs with views over the water, the bridge to Coloane Island & the city buildings. It was very pleasant to breakfast & have tea on the balcony. I liked the old colonial style of the entire hotel.The bathroom was fully Portuguese tiled & it was huge with golden fixtures. It had an enormous shower with both showerhead & normal taps, & a retractable clothes line. It also had a large claw foot bathtub with a showerhead extension & a big vanity sink with 2 retractable makeup mirrors. Although it was quite a hike to Senado Square, I liked the location. There weren't any hills, & the Sands Casino across the road had free shuttles to Cotai. The hotel had everything I wanted & the staff were extremely courteous & efficient.

I immediately loved the scent of the hotel when I walked in. The check-in process was easy. The room is more like a serviced apartement so it has a complete kitchen set with electric stove, microwave, even a washing machine. The room was cozy and room size was relatively moderate. Breakfast buffet was not that disappointing. The variety was pretty standard (cereals, hot & cold salads, toasts, breads, bacon, sausage, porridge, fruits, etc.) but the taste was good. To get there from ferry terminal was easy. Just hop on MGM or Wynn free shuttle bus. To go back to ferry terminal was kinda tricky because now big hotels set restrictions and prompt travellers to show proof either you stay in their hotels, dine in their restaurants or play in their casinos to be able to ride on their shuttle buses to ferry terminal. From Ascott to Senado Square takes about 20 minutes on foot. It depends on your walking pace though :) Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay at Ascott Macau and would love to stay there again if I return.

Location of Presidente Hotel is good, just opposite Star World and Wynn Hotel. The room offers a good view of Macau Tower and the surrounding hotels, with the sea in the horizon. The service was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Even the front desk provided us with vital info to get to the wet market at Senado Square for a local feel of the place. The American breakfast at the cafe on the ground floor was great, better than the buffet breakfast provided on the 4th floor. Even though upgrading was in progress at the Presidente Hotel, the noise level was kept to a minumum and was acceptable. This is our return visit to Macau, staying at the Presidente Hotel and we are very pleased with the service provided.

Good value for money. Spacious room with a nice sea view. Far from the busy streets of macau but there's a bus stop few blocks from the hotel that pass through senado sqaure fare is 6mop. Free shuttle to and from macau ferry terminal. If you want to save a lot from taxi you can use their free shuttle to ferry terminal and just transfer to another shuttle to destination of your choice like parisian, venetian mgm etc. They have free shuttles too! We had a pleasant stay at Crowne!

the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and give very good directions.the service level is superb and we were upgraded to a room on the higher floor. the room is quite spectacular with 2 queen sized bed and extremely well equipted, clean and comfortable. the hotel is ideally located and within walking distances to senado square (less than 10min), and also other 5 star hotels such as wynn and star world which is just behind the hotel (within 5min walk). the hotle also provide free shuttle to the ferry terminal every 30min which we find extremely useful. overall, we enjoy the stay at this hotel and definately will be back.

Stayed here for 2 days 1 night with my dad and brother. At first I was a bit hesitant to book here considering some of the negative feedbacks read. However, I took the risk considering the budget. When we checked-in here, the staffs can speak in english and were really friendly. We got the key right away after the MOP300 securoty deposit. So fast! Room for twin bed was nice. Not too big and not too small. Totally enough. Bed size for single is just enough. Bathroom has even a bath tub. The bedroom is not new, but maintained the cleanliness. Staffs when we checked out were also nice and can speak in english. Even apologized so many time 'coz at first the security deposit they brought back to me was in HKD which I totally dont mind, but insisted to change it to MOP since that was the money I initially gave. Location is perfect! Bus stop is right infront of the entrance/exit of the hotel. You can even wait for a taxi there. Bus going to the Venetian, Galaxy and Parisian is right across the hotel. Theres a 7 11 across too. Walking distance from Sofitel, Ponte16 and fortunately, the Senado Square, Ruins of St.Paul, MGM and Wynn. I will definitely consider this hotel next time we get back. For a budget-friendly hotel, I strongly recommend this. I just dont understand why other travelers expect so much, of course what you pay is what you get. This hotel is totally worth it to its amount.

Golden Dragon Hotel is a nice hotel.. Sands casino is just opposite the hotel and from there you can have an access to free shuttle bus to other places like Venetian Hotel and Resort.. it's near the fishermen's wharf wherein you can dine, shop and enjoy the harbour view.. the breakfast there is also superb but it costs much.. it's also near the Senado square just a ride away through taxi.. easy to get in the taxi, there is taxi lane outside the hotel... we enjoyed our stay there.. the staffs are nice and accomodting..

The Wynn Hotel is close walking distance to the main Macau square and Portugese heritage buildings. A short taxi hop to the Macau Tower will give an extra dimension to your visit. Fantastic views, excellent dining at reasonable price, bungy jumping if you like this sort of thing. The Wynn is a class act and draws a clientele that is a mix of the classes. Technology is there to behold in the Hotel and offers computer buffs high speed broadband in their rooms. Thanks to Agoda we negotiated an excellent price for our room and it was value all the way. Would highly recommend Wynn; it deserves to be a 6 star class hotel.

The hotel has an absolute location. It's very close to some of Macau's popular landmarks - Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, Fortaleza do Monte, Camoes Square and Casa Garden, St. Anthony's Church, Leal Senado Building, St. Augustine's Church, Dom Pedro V Theatre, Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, Mandarin's House, Lilau Square, Moorish Barracks, A-Ma Temple and a lot more, even to the casinos like Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Wynn Macau, MGM, and also Macau Tower. You can really discover places just by walking, which I did, from the hotel to these popular sights. I didn't have to spend a lot with transportation fees. The hotel is also few steps away from local gift shops, pastry shops, and some eateries, as well as parks and convenience stores. The hotel staff are quite nice, one lady even directed me on how to go to Ruins of St. Paul's. The senior staff who was on duty when I arrived at past 2am on Friday/Saturday was accommodating to my concern despite the limited English when I thought the key got stuck to the key slot. Overall, I'd say I would book with this hotel again when I come back.

The services by the staffs are excellent and it has made my stay a very pleasant one. Except for, not enough shuttle buses for the different locations in Macau as compared to some others but it does have shuttle between venetian, and the two ferry terminals. Location of the hotel is ok, but could not find a convenient store within walking distance. Not far from tourist place, Senado Square.
