Great views, American Breakfast was very good, Rent a Karaoke room, 3 lane Bowling alley, Foosball, Air hockey, Billiards tables, Snooker Table, 2 pools and Jacuzzis, Fitness Center with modern equipment for Cardio and weights, Sauna and Steam Room. Library. Spacious Rooms, Not to mention just steps across the street to the Beach. The little crescent shape beaches remind me of Ko Olina on Oahu, refrigerator stove and microwave withe plates and silverware. The only con I can think of is a few miles to supermarket. We had a fantastic stay. .

The first sight of the hotel as it came into the car's view was awe-inspiring. The lovely hotel nestled among the hills and surrounded by sea is a perfect getaway from the noise and crowd. If you want to a peaceful and quiet rest, you will find your little paradise here. Aside from the location of the hotel, it scores high mark for the beautiful sea view which I think most of the rooms will provide. My partner loves to fish and this is the perfect place to spend a day at the nearby jetty. The water is clear and fish aplenty. Nearer evening, you might be inflicted by mosquitoes bite so please remember to bring along mosquito repellent. This applies to the restaurant area as well. I read previous reviews that some rooms are old and run-down. I think only Premier rooms are newly renovated. We book that and it is new and clean with basic furniture and everything runs well. The TV channel selections are pretty limited....no movie channel at all....so that was a little let down. The staff are generally good with the surprise exception of the reception staff....they were really unfriendly and unsmiling from from the first to the last day of our stay. Special mention must be made to the most accommodating and friendly restaurant female captain who went out of her way to provide a first-rate service. She and the hotel inside will guarantee a return visit from us very soon.

Stayed here a night before going to Koh Samet. Nice pool which you will use rather than the beach because it's filthy dirty. Food is good but we did not include breakfast which I think you should since the food ordered was chef creative and tasty. Difficult to find local transport on the road and hotel red truck 200B will kill your lungs with diesel emmitions but hotel has several travel options for a bit more. Room is very big and you see panoramic sea however it's labeled partial because trees block beach view. Still a nice view of mountain and sunsets regardless of trees. Hotel staff understands some basic English and fast to assist when need service . TV fine, AC cold, has nice bath tub , huge bathroom. Even has an outside sink and patio to sit and relax. Which over the pool was nice. I believe room 608. Have a few restaurants good prices and food in easy walk distance. Very nice, new and clean, sytlish Massage house directly beside hotel.. Great for your wife. Seen a kareoke location near if your looking sing and girls..but I did not. Many road side vendors Area is relaxing, easy going, just sadly .. Very trashy beaches

We arrived on Friday night at about 6:30pm and were great with Thai smiles and warmth. Our room was on the first floor with a pool view, which I highly recommend. The room is older, but large, clean and comfortable. We went straight to the restaurant and ate. The food took a while, but was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive. We sat outside and the atmosphere was lovely, especially hearing the waves in the background. The next day it rained most of the day,but we just stayed on the covered balcony, ate and drank and watched the kids run and play on the playground, trampoline and in the pool. I ventured to the beach for a swim a couple of times and it was beautifully warm, good waves, but not very clean. In fact this coastline needs a big clean up. A lot of rubbish comes in from the sea. This is a shame. It didn't stop the swimming though. The sun finally came out and we caught some rays. We really enjoyed our brief visit to Purimas.

We arrived a little late but checked in very quickly, we then found out we were the only couple in the hotel not with a well known Engineering Company who were having a team building event. We were told we could join them but we declined, then we had to listen to five hours of Karaoke. The next morning there was a very heavy rain storm which finished about 08.00, just as we were going out of the room water came out of the ceiling light fitting and soaked the bed. No time to deal with this as we had an appointment to keep in town, but on our return we were given a new room and helped to relocate our possessions, no problem. The second night of our stay, a Saturday also had a Karaoke evening, this was just a local event but a lot more noise than the previous evening. The next two days were great, no noise at all very peaceful location and helpful staff and very close to the beach. Why the title "The Hotel in the Jungle" well the owners have let the natural trees and flora grow around the hotel, we had a sea view in both of our rooms but you needed to be a contortionist to see the sea through the tree branches.

We travelled to Laemya at the peak of the Songkran festival when everyone was throwing water like crazy, and our car broke down about 5km from the hotel, in the middle of the festivities (we were lost what to do)- we rang the hotel and the owner's wife, and a guest came out to collect us in 2 cars (we have a 3 year old son and a golden retriever). They arrived in 30 minutes, and took us to the hotel, arranged to have the car collected, and repaired - fantastic. The hotel itself is located near a beautiful tranquil beach (easily walkable), and is well maintained. It is not the best hotel I have ever stayed in, but for the price it is excellent. I will definitely stay again.

Nearly perfect. We stayed the day that crowded with people to join the same next day running event in early morning. Hotel extended the breakfast time to 12:00 and check-out to 14:00 as most of the guess just came back around 8 to 10 AM. This showed the care and emphathy from the hotel, without any extra cost to the hotel, or extra price to the customer but won customer's heart. The seaview room was fantastic, tv is new and big. Something to be improved are overall cleanliness, and the drainess of the shower part.
