The Rapeepong offers good clean accommodation for a very attractive price, the rooms are a good size, beds are very comfortable for Thailand and good cool aircon, hard to complain for the price although the wifi sucks if your on the upper floors"

"Dhevaraj Hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were smallish but they were modern looking and nicely done up with good lighting and furniture. Mattresses were very good, not too hard or too soft. Mini-bar available in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities, mini safe or hair dryer in the room. Also only one available power point in the room. Furniture was modern and enough storage space was provided. Air-con was excellent. Flat screen Cable TV was available including BBC World though only a few other English channels. Bathroom was smallish but one didn't feel too cramped, and also fairly modern. Shower with a small bath but a good shower with excellent water pressure Although we were on the top, 5th, floor, there wasn't much of a view, at least on our side as the buildings nearby were of a similar height. Breakfast was buffet style in the big Coffee Shop, good choice on both days but mainly Thai choices. The rest of the hotel is pleasantly decorated, in a modern fashion, with one large atrium going right up to the roof, which has access corridors to many of the rooms, plus another smaller atrium, where most of the rest of the rooms are located. Many of the corridors have two chairs and a small table outside each of the bedrooms where guests can sit and share a snack with friends or chat to other guests. A very nice feature. Internet WiFi in the room was provided for 30 baht for 2 hours, get the password from Reception. Plenty of car parking spaces available at the back of the hotel. We found the hotel staff to be generally friendly, maybe a little reserved sometimes. As well as Function Rooms, they have a Karaoke Bar, and also a good Massage Parlour. The hotel's location is excellent right on one of the main streets of Nan City right opposite the main market in Nan and within easy walking distance of many sights and the Riverside area. The Dhevaraj wasn't 4 or 5 star luxury but for a 3 star hotel we thought it was excellent. "

"If you like to stay in wood house I will recommend this hotel. Feel Lanna style here. My room is small and compact but it has everything that I want. There has a lot of good books in library room. You can order a la carte breakfast from staff. Delicious one. The morning market just across the road! Borrow bicycle from hotel to explore this town is a good option too. "

"The stay was ok. It's a Thai-Thai hotel. We wanted to check in shortly after 2 pm but they were not ready as they still had to iron some pillow cases. When we asked to change the room to the last one down the hallway, it was no problem. Breakfast was mediocre. No table/chairs available when we got there. The "buffet" is right next to the open kitchen and area where they clean the dishes. You will need a car and a good GPS to find this well-hidden hotel, or be ready to get lost in the maze of small streets. It's fine to stay here for a couple of nights. With a higher budget, stay closer to the river and the main sights/temples. "

"Unequivocally, Nan Boutique Hotel is one of the, if not THE most delightful, pleasurable hotels in which I have ever stayed in SE Asia. My first visit to Nan; on arrival, I unfortunately found the hotel in which I was booked unsatisfactory. I moved to Nan Boutique Hotel. Delightful, comfortable, lovely hotel. Quiet location, tho' just minutes from the market, "Walking Street" (Saturdays, the main street becomes a pedestrian mall, selling all manner of products; from foodstuffs, to clothing, statuary, bric-a-brac, and more), the National Museum, parks, and many of Nan's exquisite temples. Superior Zen room: very comfortable, had everything: in-room safe, refrigerator, mini-bar (fresh fruit, snacks, juices complimentary), hair dryer, TV, air-conditioning, free wi-fi; bathroom: all facilities/accessories (shampoo, conditioner, body cream, etc.) Breakfast in Taz's Kafe,verandah level: very good a la carte menu selection & freshly brewed coffee (no instant coffee here!). I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Nan Boutique Hotel, particularly the young ladies/gentlemen @ Reception. Good knowledge of English and all of them so extraordinarily, genuinely caring of the well-being of guests. Sadly, my arrival in Nan was fraught with unfortunate experiences, but once I changed hotels & moved to the Nan Boutique, everything sorted itself out. My stay there was nothing short of perfection. The care & attention of Reception staff was exceptional: they wouldn't let me go to the Bus Terminal to purchase my reservation for my return to Chiang Mai but insisted on sending a staffer to purchase ticket for me. Truly above & beyond the call of duty! I highly recommend the Nan Boutique 1st choice in Nan. Deepest appreciation/thanks to the staff for extraordinary care & attention. "

"Place is clean with daily cleaning. Staff friendly. No breakfast served but have good noodle soup that is priced fairly. I would recommend renting a car and go to Pua to see beautiful rice fields. The city of Nan is a very clean place and great to explore. Yes, I would stay here again as I just need a place to stay that outs clean, comfortable, and quiet, which this place is."

"The hotel locates near Nan market and major Nan attractions like Wat Phumin and the National museum. It's about 30 minute walk to those attractions. The best thing about this hotel is its owner who made sure we had the most memorable stay in Nan. He and his guest truly lived up to Northern Thai's hospitality! He helped us booked the car to visit nearby national parks which were gorgeous and worth the time and effort. The driver, Jay, took us to the best sites in those parks and took good care of us for the whole time. Even though the hotel is just a boutique hotel but the breakfast served was quite nice with varieties of Thai and Western foods. However, they made the best pad Thai I ever had for our lunch meal! Room is average size but clean and comfortable. "

"We visited Nan for 2 days and stayed at the Nan Treasure Hotel. The location is a bit inconvenient if you want to walk around, as it is located slightly away from the city centre. There is a decent restaurant nearby for dinner, but nothing else really. We had difficulty communicating with the hotel staff as they didn't speak much English, which makes it difficult to plan activities in a place like Nan. Apart from that, the rooms were clean and nice. The staff were friendly and polite, and even dropped us off to the airport for our flight without charging us. The breakfast was ordinary, but for the price is sufficient. If you are a returning visitor to Nan or know Thai, it's a great place to stay. For first-time visitors not having someone to plan out your day can make it difficult."
