"The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the historic and charming centre of Paraty. Room to beach took about 30 seconds. The staff are great, the breakfast excellent and the aircon efficient. We ate at the beach restaurant directly opposite the hotel and La Luna which is a little further up the beach. Both were good. Tips; Visit Paraty, it's well worth the 4-5 hour trip South of Rio. The historic centre is best done on foot though cobbles abound. We took the five hour tour of the islands which was fun."

"The room was basic and a bit small. The breakfast is just OK with limited selection but taken by a very nice pool indeed, set in attractive grounds. Staff are friendly but with very limited English. Property is a long way from the historic centre of Paraty - no problem but you need a car, and the area felt safe. There is a really good beachfront restaurant nearby we would recommend for dinner, called La Luna."
