Clean room, delicious food, and service staff available until 4am. We booked a good deal for an ocean view room that was worth the money, but the room was located high up and it was difficult to travel up and down without a car. We walked down to the beach once and even got a massage. Overall, it was good and suitable for those who like peace and quiet.

Spacious room, but too many ants on the table in the bedroom. Other areas are clean and tidy. Delicious breakfast and good service from staff. We originally booked a room on the opposite side, but paid extra to move to a room closer to the sea. It had a bedroom, TV room, dining table, and separate bathroom zones. Many things were great. Its near evething. Its pretty and clean. The staff his here to help and make you comfortable. They are nice. The pool at the top is the best at this hotel. We had it for our self 8 days strait! Only one peron came there once in a while. Many things great bit many things not so gret. I reserved the garden view but wen we got there the garden view was not available as they were renovating them. The garden view are at the botom of the resort near the beach now they gave us the too hill room witch you need to clam up stairs lots of them but we had rented a scooter so no problem as qe can go up there from the back road that will take us to the rooms so if you have a scooter no problems! We didnt like thw first room and wanted my money back but the manager didn't want to give it back so they change the room for is and give me a great sea view room witch was great. Thanks again to try to make us happy. The other nit so good thing is the break first. Its not realy a buffet style and everyday is the same thing! and not so good especially the coffee 😢 i would say the breakfast is the worst thing hing at this hotel. Its pretty though and relaxing. Then next not so good thing is the beach! Its a rocky beach tou juat have a tiny spot where is send but i imagine when the hôtel is full every obe will be in this spot.. So beach its a 0 but again pretty to look at when is hightie.. Oh lots of beach flies too and that suck.. Its to late when you know bow they are there😑 so nice hotel, realxing tou even have monkeys come to your balcony its fun to see them. Nice staff..nice rooms.. If you have money i subject you to go for the Seaview. Overall was ok.
A little disappointing”
My family stayed at the Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort in Dec. 2024. We booked a “budget” room. The budget rooms are about 150-200m down the road and across the street, so you’re not close to the beach or to any beautiful surroundings. The room had one narrow window by the door, so it was very dark. But the worst part was that our room backed up to a bar on the main road (Moo 4). So every night there was really loud music and karaoke singing. Horrible! One morning, as I went to use the bathroom, a snake was coming out of the drain! Scary. To get to the beach you have to cross the main road in Koh Chang (Moo4), which was sometimes really busy and dangerous. The Koh Chang Cliff resort does have a beautiful view from the swimming pool, but the pool is a good climb from the beach. The breakfast was generally really good with a mixture of Thai, Chinese, and Western dishes. Eggs and omelets could be ordered. View from restaurant was amazing. Beach area in front of the resort was also well setup. Lounge chairs and soft sand. One complaint is that you had to rent kayaks. Many of the Koh Chang hotels provide kayaks to their guests for free. One last complaint: we ordered a “late lunch one afternoon (1:30pm). It took 2 hours before all of our dishes arrived. They were basic Thai dishes (noodles and chicken cashew). We complained and the restaurant gave us free shakes, but 2 hours for a meal is ridiculous. We didn’t eat any other meals at the resort after that. Just next to KCCBR is the BaanSook Resort. Check out their restaurant on the beach. Very peaceful place with excellent seating and great views. We spent our evenings here playing card games and drinking Changs. If you’re able to get a non-budget room, the Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort would be a great place to stay. The budget rooms are very budget. They’re good for travelers who just want a bed and don’t care about view or convenient access to the beach.

Cliff Beach Resort is perfectly situated on the beach line, and has a winning combination for a great family stay: - Private sand beach with great access at both low and high tide times. It has cliffs over the water at the end of the beach, which keep the water calm. - Awesome infinity pool at the top of the cliff, that you can reach by stairs, or a resort’s shuttle. - Nice rooms being cleaned daily. - Every night resort’s restaurant hosts fun events: live music, fire show, cabaret performance, etc. - The location on the main road side is also perfect: everything you need for dining, entertainment or a night life is within minutes of walk. There is also a local waterfall within walking distance. Ask tour agencies for directions - this waterfall is not on the island map. I’d like to say a special thanks to both resort managers: Pop and Linda, as well as the cleaning crew, who made our stay extremely pleasant, and took a great care of our family
