Beach Front Villa... favorite resort!”
We've now stayed a couple of times... love the area, especially for snorkeling. Price for beach front us a totally reasonable and worthwhile treat, though the other rooms are great as well. Good mix between chill and resorty.

Great location & excellent room!”
We arrived late at night and was a bit surprised by the last portion of the (dirt) road leading to the hotel. A staff was waiting to greet us and showed us to our room. There was a bit of a mixup with Agoda reservation so they upgraded us to the Deluxe (we booked a standard). The room was very spacious with a huge bathroom (and a rain shower). The bed was comfy. The hotel is right on the beach and you can walk across the sand split to Koh Ma. Beautiful view!

The rooms are really excellent here, with a huge and well-appointed bathroom. The pool is also great, and it's right next to some of the best snorkeling on Koh Phangan.

Not a quiet place”
An enormous lot of ex-USSR-related guests with children of 4-7 yrs age who simply know nothing about decent behavior in society. You should expect company of non-stop yelling at each other kids all over the beach and absolutely calm parents (who will immediately ask you to drop a cigarette though). My last day I woke up and found myself at some Turkey beach: two russian-speaking animators helped to celebrate birthday party for whole kindergarten. If you're not one of those people, you should find some 18+ accomodation.

Great Location”
The best thing I love is the location of this resort, beautiful beach which you can walk to Koh Ma when the sea level is low, also the sunset view in the evening. The hotel facilities are great, especially the comfortable bed. Anyway, there were some dust on the bed and under the lamp which is a bit annoying.

Remote location with a nice beach, good and affordable restaurant, and good vibes. Only downfall was the transportation to the pier organized by the hotel, in which the driver drove in a manner that made us scared for our lives.

Sub-standard remote short term stay”
Rooms were generally clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. They offer motorcycle rental, I cannot judge the prices since we got a bike in the town. The beach is in waking distance but nothing special, rather small and okayish maintained. The room was quite old with obvious damages that need a fixing / general overhaul. The mattresses were not a good fit for a double bed since they had reinforced edges thus it was not possible to use the middle of the bed (were the two mattresses meet). One of the mattress was damaged and you could feel the springs when lying down. Water was either really hot (during the day) or cold (during the night). I do not like washing my hands with more or less boiling hot water… other hotels in the same price range manage that better. tl:dr: try to get smth different in the same price range, chances are high that it will better. Most important thing is a good night sleep and the beds just didn’t do it.

They charged me 200 THB for a 2 min taxi”
Normally a taxi from Thongsala (other side of the island) to this resort costs THB 200, but they charged me THB 200 to go 2 mins down the road to Chaloklum.

Low voltage + room did not look like the photo”
I didnt enjoy my stay here. My room did not have a phone, it did not have a kettle and the bathroom looked different from the photo. It did not have any window and it was dark.

Booked in no problem quick & escorted to apartment by staff transport Room pleasant but looking very tired nothing special no welcome message or information about the hotel Cleaning done daily but not good what can you do in 10 to 15 minutes ( just the basic) Clean towels & beach towels every day Our spot on the beach front was directly in front of our window beach area was the massage ladies quite noisy in the morning & work quite late into the evening Found it intrusive as whenever you sat outside they overlooked our area Restaurant’s food well priced & tasty but nothing special staff not very attentive Pool nice Not a very good area for other activities quite far out from nearby venues restaurants shops Not advisable if you’re wanting more choices to see or go car or bike is needed to get around Ok for walking or a quiet restful time

YOU CAN FIND BETTER! rude staff, remote, no good snorkeling, and crowded beach!”
We were so disappointed by this place. The photos of the room are accurate, but the king size bed is just two twins pushed together with a huge seam in the middle. The front desk staff were Rude. The restaurant staff unfriendly, slow and cannot be bothered. We could have lived with all of that but the snorkeling was so bad- no fish, broken dead coral and seaweed and urchins. Sunny days the beach is crowded with day trips and loud families. Everything is an up charge as well- from the 3% credit card fee after booking, the 1000 Baht deposit for your room key, 200-250 Baht for a mediocre buffet breakfast. There are much better places on this island to stay.

We had cockroaches in our room, many of tv channels are are not working. Can’t reduce TV volume despite requests to fix it. The resort is relatively remote and one needs a car, a taxi or scooter to get to the nearest village

Do yourself a favor and save yourself heartache and nerves and getting upset on the trip. Do not close this hotel! Just go on a day trip to the beach. A warm welcome! The employee at the reception is a bad person! He gave us a room on the 3rd floor without an elevator, I told him that my mother is disabled, I showed him a certificate that he would give us a room downstairs, he said just upgrade and add money, I told him if he wanted to cancel, he said no problem, you won't get money. I was left helpless I paid another 2500thb for a ground room. In addition I ordered with breakfast when we came for breakfast they told me I did not order with breakfast even though I have a note that says breakfast 7:30-10:00 breakfast. In addition, there were gooks in the room ringing for reception who do not answer, must go to them physically and wait until he comes. In addition, there is a bar on the beach that are crooks and deceive people. I ordered squeezed oranges and squeezed mango, the seller pretended to squeeze oranges as soon as I turned around, he gave me oranges from cardboard and ice, when I realized this, I argued with him, he said this This is helf and helf I say the menu say no ice and all naturel orange. Plz do not.go! Do not.book this hotel!

First we booked a double bedroom with a balcony and when we got there, we get a room in a workers house with no balcony and it was terrible! Then when we said that to staff, they did nothing at all, last day they reorganise us to normal room (4th day), then there were only one beach towel, but we don't needed it because we had our own and when we did check out, they charged us because they said there were 2 towels, it was 500 baht!? Very very bad service in the whole area!! Breakfast was so bad that we paid for 3 days, but after one morning we didn't want it anymore! The road to the hotel was terrible, we saw one family scooter accident, because its really bumpy road and with a little rain its getting worse! No asphalt at all.. So if you want a relaxing holiday, don't go there, not good value for money!
