I stayed in a Golden Suite room for the purpose of enjoying the view from the room, and the view was even more beautiful than I expected. The owner and staff were all very kind and had a relaxed atmosphere, which made it very comfortable. The restaurant served delicious Thai food with generous portions at affordable prices, and we ended up ordering from the restaurant for all three nights, as they also delivered to the room, beach, and pool. The sea in front of the hotel is full of small fish, and there are hardly any waves. It is very calm and shallow, making it perfect for families with small children. We were able to play in the sea with peace of mind. There are also many sets of sand toys for children to play with on the beach. Kayaks are also available for free, so our whole family enjoyed riding them, playing on the beach, swimming in the pool, and playing badminton in the garden. The stars at night are very beautiful, and we were able to watch the fire dance, which is a must-see at beach resorts. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Charn Island.

We loved this small boutique hotel. Great place to escape for a few days. The hotel has a small swimming pool and a beautiful beach. You can easily go swim, only with low tide you better go for a dip in the pool. The restaurant is super nice. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and well organized. If you love to go out in the evening. This is not your place. No shops or restaurant area nearby. You can rent a scooter and go explore the island as we did. But be carefull. I´ve never seen so steep bendy roads. We loved it, and definetely come back! Thanks

My stay at Little Sunshine was amazing! The staff were so kind, the room was lovely, and the location was incredible. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something quiet and peaceful. My room had a wonderful view of the sea and was very clean & comfortable. There isn't much around there in the way of restaurants & shops, but that was perfect for me—you can walk up and down the beach, go out on a kayak, or walk about 20 minutes to a 7-Eleven (the hotel is also happy to arrange a trip if you don’t want to walk). The bay is very calm and clean and lovely to swim in—at certain times of the day you can see little fish. The included breakfast is good (and big!) and I had several dinners at the resort, which were all good (and reasonably priced). Everyone on staff was very friendly and very helpful. I was only sad I had to leave! If I’m in Koh Chang again, I’ll definitely stay at Little Sunshine.
Solo retreat in peaceful place ”
As a solo traveler at the time, I was looking for a nice quiet place on the beach and Little Sunshine not only provided for my needs but completely exceeded expectations! I booked the Queen size bedroom with ocean view just for myself. Kata the manager is here to welcome you and explain the facilities and you can always come to him for information or if you want to book an activity. Pa offers a fresh orange juice, which was real nice after the trip to the island. The bedroom is confortable, not too big but the size and smootheness of the bed is enough, with a plater of fruits and free bottles of water provided every day in the little fridge. The little houses/rooms have roofs the shape of tents which makes for a high ceiling bedroom that lets in lots of natural light which is very pleasant. The bathroom is large and the shower too. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels of every size, everything is there ! The staff lets you choose if you want the towels and bedsheets to be changed on a daily basis or not as Little Sunshine cares for the environment. The beach is literally 6 meters from the room. It's a long white sandy beach of about 1,5km, with swings hanging from coconut trees here and there. The other hotels and accomodations along the beach are also part of the Royal Siam Complex where Little Sunshine resides. It's mostly rents for families or friends gathering. But it's chosen for it's peaceful atmosphere. No heavy music or night clubs over here. Two or three bars-restaurants that offer thai and western meals and seafood of course! The water is clear, so so clear and warm that I actually never wanted to go in one of the two swimming pools, even though they looked really nice. There's a 7-eleven about 15mn a walk, or 2mn on scooter from the hotel, as well as restaurants and local shops if you're looking for fresh fruits and local food.
