Best hotels & accommodations in Macau City

Has always been Our first choice of hotel in macau city coz we have smaller kids with us. We prefer tgis one coz it has distance from the crowd but not too far too. Local market nearby, 7-11 across the road (which is very convenient breakfast choice for my american nephew fiuh....). Walking distance to some good restaurant and a bus stop across the hotel. Has always be...

this is the best hotel i've ever stayed and i'll definitely return. the hotel staff were really courteous and keep a smile always on their faces. despite i saw one staff facing difficult customers, he was able to control the situation and the customers left with a smile. they were also good in providing bus and walking directions. the room was also nicely decorated. an...

I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are ver...

rio hotel is the best hotel to stay if you plan to visit the famous st paul ruins, senado square and fisherman's wharf. these sites are walking distance. rio hotel also provides a free travelmate -it's a phone that u can bring with you anywhere in macau city for free hotspot/wifi. restaurants are also just nearby. this hotel has excellent staff. very friendly and help...

The business Executive rooms on the upper floor are well worth the little extra. They are newly refurbished with excellent decor and so comfortable. These rooms go with a free lounge on 20th floor with continental breakfast, drinks from 5.50pm and good internet and fast checkout. Meals at the Emperor or any other hotel in Macau cannot compare with the excellent food av...

Although in the old town area of Macau, but may see the whole Macau city view. Gorgeous view with excellent service. Elegant but not crowed with people when get back to hotel. Very relaxing experience...Highly recommanded stay in Macau. The Taxi fee is cheap very easy to access ant other main attraction and casino hotel

Our trip to Macau was a gamble of sorts. We were a group ofunlikely tourists - 4 elderly family members and an active four-year-old childinclusive. We booked the hotel online via Agoda based solely on gut instincts. We found a hotel in Macau island within our budget and clicked the button –the ‘MandarinOriental’ name did help to decide us. The night before arrival, I we...

Booked a 3-person room. It is big and quite clean. This is one of the cheap hotels in Macau. Walking distance to senado square and St. Paul, and the bus stop is just right outside the hotel. We used bus 26 to get to the airport. If you wish to experience the old Macau environment, this is your choice.

It's our 2nd time to stay in Sintra Hotel, and it is the most practical hotel in Macau in terms of cost and proximity to the high end, mid and low end Macau. City of Dreams bus stops right in front of it - meaning free and fast ride(no stop at ferry)to City of Dreams and Venetian. Best of all, Sintra has a number of Filipino security personnel who can assist in anyth...

The second time I choose this hotel. I chose a tri-bed room and was Satisfied with it! The staff is very kind. It located in the old Macau city which is not far from the Ruins of St.Paul, about 20 minutes by walk. And It's also not far from the ferry terminal, there's a city bus. I'm also satisfied that it's very convinient to eat arount the hotel.

We booked the room at the same day , because we got kicked out by the racist Airbnb host claiming that they afraid of foreigners. Luckily this one of the very last rooms in macau hat night. And this hotel even gave us a suite with a nice balcony(though have wall all around the room blocking some of the views), comfort living space and bedroom, and a nice and clean was...

I've stayed in several hotels in Macau from 2008-2018 over several years (as the prices have inflated rapidly), and even compared to the bigger, more famous hotels, Beverly Plaza offers great value. It is now my go-to hotel whenever I go to Macau. The rooms are clean and have that Mediterranean maritime charm fitting to Macau's colonial history. The staff are welcoming...

The hotel was good. Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean. Easy transport. However, it is not near to tourist spots (given that the hotel is in Macau City). Internet is only available at the lobb/reception area. All in all we had a comfortable experience in this hotel.

At first, I thought I accidentaly booked for the hotel that too far away from the central of Macau because of the scenery around the Hotel doesn't have modern city look. Afterall, I found out that it was pretty close to the central and best of all, the price was very reasonable. In short, I really enjoyed staying at Ole London Hotel in Macau. The hotel is great, the se...

This hotel is definitely the best hotel we stayed at. The hotel room is state of the art. Everything is automatic. The location of the hotel is very convinient. Located at the heart of Macau city,, just 10 min walk to Senado square and 10 min taxi drive to Macau Tower. It's accross Wyns and 3 blocks to MGM and Starworld Casino. The structure of the hotel is so unique a...

Luckily I could speak Mandarin - it really paid off during my stay in Macao. Also, good thing that they hired English, Mandarin speaking staffs at the reception counter but like us, they are also new to Macau City.. therefore, couldn't help us much. The old man was the most friendly and helpful while the mid-age ladies chatting at the reception area are the biggest tur...

The legend palace is a great hotel which located in the fisher's warf Macau. It's just floating on the sea, so my mom's kinda frightened when she went to balcony.(so she never go outside again thou) It was my mom's birthday so the hotel upgraded the deluxe room to the executive deluxe with harbour view. Even the hotel staff came to our room and sang a birthday son...

It's really a good stay in this hotel! Among all the hotels that I check in this area, this was the cheapest and the most well furbished hotel I could find. I was worried that I couldn't find the hotel initially, but it turns out to be easy as well. Complimentary drinks were topped up daily, together with tea sachets. Free Wi-Fi has got stable & fast connections....

Meanwhile me and my girlfriend were staying in Macau, the last day of our journey, the typhoon Hato struck Macau. The wind and rain was so severe that we could not go outside. Added that our plane schedule was 2:00 am of next day so we planned to checkout and stay in the lobby until the typhoon was stopped. When we tried to checkout our room, a hotel manager said there...

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Rocks Hotel. It was something different from the rest of the hotels in Macau. Although the Babylon Casino is just right next to the hotel, it was connected and that was quite a relief. It felt nice and quiet, away from the usual buzz you'll find at hotels in Macau. The hotel was decorated beautifully, the simplistic Euro-style deco was ...

I had stay many hotels in Macau and this is the best so far. Emailed them to inform I'm celebrating my wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room to noble suite and provide a free red wine too. Room is huge, clean and luxurious. There are 3 TV (living room, bed room and bathroom), washing machine, microwave, refrigerator etc. Bathroom is huge and shower items are ...

Hotel located in Macau city, very conveniance for shopping & dining. For people who like gambling, alot of casino near by and hotel itself also provide gambling. Room consider clean and comfortable, and hotel do provide free chocolate and drink...

Have stayed at Crowne Plaza Macau for only 1 night. As advertised, the room is large and bright, and also offers a good sea view. Usb charging ports are available so that you don't have to bring your own travel adapter. If you are coming from the city, you can take buses to Perola Oriental Terminal and walk to the hotel. The reception helped us to call a cab, and we pa...

Holiday Inn Macau was referred to me by my friends who has a lot of nice words for Holiday Inn. I was so satisfied with my 3 days 2 nights accomodations. The free shuttle was a plus points and I didn't have a hard time looking for the shuttle bacause of the color of the bus although the shuttle was quite small compared to the hotel giants. It was situated near an ATM M...

We stayed in the hotel just to sleep. Bed and bath room are clean. Good AC. We were provided a free mobile wifi device. It's a good walking distance going to Ruins of St Paul Cathedral. We also just walked going to Wynn Macau for some of the shows, then rode the free shuttle going to Venetian and back to Fisherman's Wharf. We took a cab going back to the hotel. Overall...

There are a lot of nice hotels in Macau but the MCM has also sea view, well at least the room we had, we had requested seaview and had an upgraded room. The room was super modern with huge windows to look out. The restaurants were also very nice but the casino was the best, we stopped at several different hotels to see the difference and MCM was by far our favorite. It...

Big problem on arival as the hotel argued that only two breakfasts were included, when we had paid for three. That said they confirmed with Agoda the mistake and we got our extra vouchers the next morning. Wife complained the hallways stank of cigarettes. Truem but the room itself was fine, and traveling a lot to China I automatically make allowances. My 15 yea...

easonable price, comfortable, and nice. It is suitable and best choices for bagpacker. the room size is ok for triple room, you have more space to put your league.. and clean also. In front of Sofitel Hotel, so you can use Sofitel Hotel free shuttle for ferry terminal (Macau City Terminal not Macau Taipa). They served 24-hours hot chocolate, milk tea, cappucino, mineral water etc. Near Senado Square & St. Paul Church, just 10 min walks from 5footway inn....
Cheapest hotels in Macau City

We stayed with Happy Family Hotel for our overnight connection in Macau. The hotel was located in the center of downtown Macau, providing great value for money if some beds for the night are all one's looking for. The rooms are tiny, which I believe is the norm for every other hotel in Macau, but apart from that one could hardly find any flaws with this hotel.

We had a great stay here, the hotel is new. It was very clean, good facilities and staff. It is actually just a walking distance to Senado Square so if you want to stay in the center of everything then it is the best hotel for you. Everything was convenient and perfect! I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. For my next visit in Macau I will...

The hotel could be accessed thru public transport system from the Macau ferry, strategically located. Just a few walks is the Ponte 16, ruins of Saint Paul, and other attractions Macau has to offer. The hotel was brand new, just a few days away from its opening so you could still smell the varnish and paints, wifi still being installed, but not a big problem. Food kios...

The location of the hotel was an amazing surprise to me. I had been looking for a good inexpensive hotel in Macau and i found one on agoda. Even then I was sceptical of the price and where the hotel is located. Sometimes what is advertised is not what it really is. However, it wasnt the case here.Getting to the hotel after 9pm and discovering how central the location o...

MOST OF THE HOTEL IN MACAU PROVIDED A SMARTPHONE WITH INTERNET TO USE BUT THIS HOTEL NO. THE BED IS HARD NOT COMFORTABLE TO SLEEP. WITH THE PRICE WITH PAID COMPARE WITH OTHER HOTEL, IT IS NOT CHEAP. BY PAYING THIS PRICE, YOU CAN GET BETTER SERVICE AND WITH A SMARTPHONE WITH INTERNET PROVIDED.

I stayed at Guia hotel in my first holiday. I realized that the place is good strategic, not far from crowded city. The important thing is about price as well. Not expensive but having good facility. The location is also near with Guia fortress which tourists visit to find the history and good sight seeing in Macau city. Onething you should consider is not so many peo...

Staff was nice to upgrade us to the Suite due to unavailability of the rooms we booked (due to season rush) - the room offered great view bridge connecting Taipa & Macau Tower with bay separating Taipa-Macau. Hotel location is on a hill (though not very tiring) and has short cut opening (follow left after getting out of hotel exit) to road to casinos & MGM grand (may t...

It was a smart choice to stay in Hotel Fortuna, the room is cosy and we feel very relax after a long day of strolling in the city of Macau. It's very near to all the tourist spots, we just walk from the hotel to ruin's of St. Paul. All i can say is that.. it was great staying in Hotel Fortuna and hope you have a good one too. Thanks

the only downside from my 68 year old parent is that we have to get to 3rd floor on foot to reach the accommodation. other than that, everything is fine. room with double bed is comfortable for two guests. room space is quite spacious and relatively clean. though i can not say that it is very clean. water from shower runs heavily. does not need to wait long time for ho...

Stayed here for one night in August. Check in time is 2:00 but I arrived about 9AM. They were fully booked for the previous night but was able to get a room ready for me in less than an hour. This must be my favorite hotel in my HK-Macau trip. The hotel is a bit old but if we are talking about the space of the room, IT IS BIG plus the aircon is so cold!! I was really not expecting so much about this place as I already it's a bit old but then boom! all expectation were exceeded. It is also conveniently located in Rua De Felicidade which is very picture per...

During my 4 days trip in Macau, I had to move among 4 different hotels due to the high booking rate around the Chinese new year. Holiday Inn overall gave me a pleasant experience. The staff in the check in counter were friendly and helpful. The room matches the 4+ star standard. Very close to many attractions: casinos, shopping malls, Dancing water show etc.

The room we booked was so spacious. It had its own living room, a powder room, a bedroom and T&B. The check-in and check-out processes were quick, though be prepared to pay for security deposit (they accept credit cards). The hotel was a 10-minute walk from the Macau Ferry Terminal. We didn't mind the walk as the weather was cool/chilly. They also provide a free shu...

First off, the price for the room was very very reasonable, compared to most of the other hotels in Macau. I have stayed at many other hotels in the city, and this is a reasonable price. Do not expect this to be in the top tier of hotels, which you would be paying more than double for. For the price, it will give you a very decent size and stay. The staff was very frie...

I took a day off from Hong Kong to visit Macau. I selected this hotel because it was very close to the main Turbojet ferry terminal (though not for Cotai and other ferries). Free shuttle bus from the ferry, easy check in and in our room some 20 minutes after leaving immigration. The location is just perfect. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16. My family of six got 2 deluxe suite rooms and stayed here purposely for a 5-day birthday celebration of my 15 yr-old daughter. Comparing with the casino hotels in Macau, this hotel luxury design diffuses a sense of elegant oriental culture, provides gorgeous rooms and quiet discreet efficient personalized service. Yes and no. Although I an married, my wife preferres not to go on all of my ventures. Not many Americans (none that I could tell) here. I enjoyed the location as it was next to the Wynn and adjacent to the old town which was fascinating. Macau rooms in the 5 star hotels are costly. If I return, I will want to try a different hotel.

Been to Macau frequently and enjoy staying at different hotels. 1st time staying at L'Arc Hotel, can only say its enjoyable. Staff was very prompt in doing check in and also when i asked for the ferry schedule, they delivered it to the room. Location was excellent, can easily take the shuttle buses from Starworld or Wynn as it only next to each other. The only proble...

Most of Macau’s famous casinos are in this district. Among these are Casino Wynn, MGM Grand Macau, Casino Rio, Casino Lisboa, Casino Sands and a host of others. Most of the casinos operate hotels in Macau City, and they’re mostly located near the southeast waterfront coastline of the peninsula.
There are dozens of museums here. The Museum of Sacred Art at St Dominic’s Church displays hundreds of artifacts; while the Museum of the Holy House of Mercy explains the charitable work this organization accomplished in the 16th century. Other popular museums include Handover Gifts Museum of Macao, Macao Museum of Art, the Communications Museum, Lin Zexu Memorial Museum and the Gramophone Museum.
UNESCO praises Macau for its ability to blend Eastern and Western culture and architecture. Sam Kai Vui Kun Temple, by the Chinese Bazaar, is one of the best examples of this. It’s joined by Leal Senado Building (Loyal Senate). There are many other Chinese temples and mansions to balance the colonial architecture. The best of these are Na Tcha Temple, Mandarin’s House, A-Ma Temple and Kun Iam Temple. The Moorish Barracks, built to house an Indian regiment in the 19th century, introduce another unique dynamic.
Aside from hotels around the casinos, some of the most luxurious hotels in Macau City are on the outer edge of the islands. The best upmarket options are around Macau Fisherman’s Wharf and Lilau Square, a residential area with Mediterranean-style houses.
