Really nice hotel, excellent service, private pool”
We booked a royal suite room, this was as described and positioned in the main hotel. However, we looked around the resort when first arriving to go for a swim and we discovered each set of bungalows (3 or 4 per set) surround a semi private pool. They have built 4 or 5 brand new sets of bungalows which aren't on this site as yet that are themed in either Chinese, Thai, Holland or Roman (and one other) and these are stunning. We paid an additional 600 baht p/night to change to one of these. This meant we had our own newly built bungalow and no one else was there so it was our own completely private pool. The food at night was delivered to our room and was of a good standard but a little cold by the time it arrived. The breakfast in the morning wasn't great, one morning a choice of 4 sets and the next a buffet and was pretty standard (which is reasonably poor) for hotels in Issan. The private bungalow, balcony and pool made this an excellent stay, the pictures on here don't do it justice. I will definitely stay here again every time I go to Korat. Make sure you have a car though as otherwise you won't be able to do much in the area

Great stay for little money”
Our stay this time in this hotel was longer end again very convenient. The very friendly staff, although a bit struggling with the English language, did do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. For the first time we did make use of the restaurant for dinner and we feel sorry for yourself that we did not do this before, breakfast as usual is great. Having to go to Korat more and more for is there is no doubt that we will use this hotel again (only 20 km for the destination city center Korat)

As being a regular visitor in this hotel it is difficult to comment differently. This Hotel maintained its standards although I noticed this time that they have changed its cook. The rooms are large and fully equipped. Still the only negative issue I have is that they don't have any English news or movie channel on the TV. Overall it is worth staying in this Hotel although it is a bit outside Korat.

Is Bilbo Baggins home?”
This is a very unique hotel, the gardens are great but the highlight is the bungalows. The are designed to look like hollow trees or logs and the inside is like a cave or Hobbit Hole. The are strange but fun and my little boys absolutely loved the place. We had a private pool and place is really spacious. I would highly recommend anyone in the vicinity staying here. The location is great for a visit to the Khmer Ruins at Phimai or for popping into Korat. The only let down was the terrible food...although breakfast was edible but make sure you do not eat there in the evening!

Great Resort on the 2 north of Korat”
We stayed here on our way to visit family in Issan. The hotel is situated on the South bound side of the road. The rooms are clean, big & cool. Our Thai family also stayed with us and we all had a good time. The resort is also being extended should be even more fantastic when finished. Food OK for hotel but the kids loved the gardens. Just like being in a Flintstone village. Well worth the stay and true VFM.

The hotel is located on the main road that links Korat and Konkani. However it is set back far enough so as to make the road noise unobtrusive. One has a choice between detached novelty bungalows and the main hotel. We initially opted for a bungalow. These are modelled on a Stone Age theme and crafted from decorated concrete. There is about 8 of them and they sit around a very nice lake and provide adjacent car parking. The facilities are more than adequate for a short stay except that for at least us personally the mattress is so hard it is like sleeping on a board. This is not the first time that we have experienced this and perhaps it is what the majority of Thai's prefer but it will certainly not be to most people's liking. The only other problem is that the bathroom was infested with ants who appeared to have made a right a way through it. Also the largest spider I have seen in Thailand stationed itself by the toilet pan but this was quickly dispatched one of the hotel maintenance staff once we called for assistance. In lite of these experiences with nature we opted to stay in the main hotel for the second night. Again the room was adequately appointed with a good shower and everything very clean which is to be expected with a nearly new hotel. The room has good air conditioning but please note that the hotel does not have an elevator. However the staff convey your luggage to any of the 3 floors. Also of note is that the rooms do not have any windows or at least the one that we were given did not. It does however have a door which leads onto an enclosed balcony. The breakfast is ok but very very basic. All in all I myself would not choose to stay again but it is difficult to criticise on a value for money basis. Overall it is aimed for the Thai market.

A place to spend the night during your journey”
A hotel on the friendship highway about 25km north of Korat. Suitable for overnight stays during long car journeys. Room is good with double bed and sofa. Clean and spacious. Wifi and hot water for shower. Young children stay for free. Nothing more to say.

The hotel is 22 km out of Khorat - a location not suitable to all. I believe its distance from Nakorn Ratchasima gives it its advantage. If you truly want to see true Thai village life as it is today - this is the hotel for you. I spent some of my time walking through some of the villages only a few kilometres from the hotel. there I found the people very friendly and welcoming. The hotel seem busier on weekends (with an influx of Thais travelling to Phimai and elsewhere - hence, the theme park element). During the week the hotel is quiet, thereby gives you the opportunity to found out from staff and other visitors on things Thai. It's a really relaxing layback hotel set in an unusual location that caters for the all you want from a top rating hotel. I can't recommend it enough.

Great Hotel ! Good Service ! hudge rooms ! ”
Although the hotel is next to the motorway (4) no sound of it you will hear in your room and only a little when sitting on your specious balcony. The rooms, but also the rest of the hotel, are very clean and specious. the service is excellent although the people are speaking a little English. The serve a nice complete breakfast in the morning (with real fresh coffee)the gardens are well maintained.

Hotel is 22km from nakhon ratchasima toward khon kaen right on highway 2 so you need a car to get here. I stayed in a standard room very large clean and well furnished. Good WiFi and sat TV with English channels. Standard rooms are in the main building but can use the swimming pools inside the resort between the hobbit styled cottages. The pool i used seemed clean but felt slimy. Included american breakfast was prepared fresh and very good. Excellent value for the price. Probably best to avoid it on weekends when it normally fills up with Thai families.

The best in the area”
As a regular user of this hotel (the best in the area) I can see that improvements are made constantly. This time they replaced the internet system and it is much improved!!! Also they are building an new area for the family bungalow's and as I understand well this will be ready in September. For me only one thing should be done to be, (for me), a 5 star hotel. please install a English news channel on the TV !!!! Don't change anything further as the hotel give you comfort, great restaurant, very friendly staff, etc etc etc. (by the way, I have tried 9 other hotels in town but this is the best although 16 km outside the city center)

Love This Hotel 15km north of Koratidea stop over”
We've stayed here several times never disappointed. True value for money and fantastic staff. The rooms are very cool set the AC @ 27C and was bang on. Fast free internet unlimited use. Rooms are massive as well. Go for a walk in the grounds unbelievable! I leave that for you to find out. Breakfast in morning very good and then we were ready to drive further on to Issan. Can't rate this hotel high enough.

Relaxing and quiet”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Villas were clean and spacious and air conditioning worked well. TV had excellent reception and the Wifi was fast. We were lucky to be at the resort while it was not busy, so we had one of the 2 pools to ourselves. Perhaps when busy 2 pools between 9 villas would mean you would lose the privacy. All staff were helpful, friendly and polite.

Our stay, as usual was great, you get what you can expected and still we surprised this is only a 4 star hotel but with 5 star service and quality. one missing point is that the television in your large room(s) dos not have English speaking channels, this should be corrected so watching the news f.a. would complete our stay.

Exellent stay for low price, big space rooms and clean, some far from the city but acceptable to drive about 15 kms. for this low price, it's really a four star hotel for the money of a two star hotel.

Good experience”
Enjoyed by all. Only problem was a very foul smell appeared in 2 of the 3 rooms after cleaning on second day. Occupants of second room were asleep before I decided that I could not bare it any longer. They facilitated a change of room with no problem. Only other issue was the staff in dining room had little or no English and no order to serving food as is the case in most of Thailand. Otherwise a great stay.

still fantastic but slipping”
stayed here before in a standard room and really enjoyed it. this time splurged for a cottage. It was very large and clean. Asked to change unit for one closer to a swimming pool and they obliged. Staff also excelled by finding a iPhone charger we forgot checking out. But disappointed by trying to charge 200B rental - 1 night only - for an adapter to plug a 3 prong in the 2 prong receptacles provided. Con's ; Bed was uncomfortable with cheap bedding and mattress - standard room had better. No mirror except small one over sink. No English channels on TV - before there were several. WIFI difficult to connect and slow - before fast and easy. No breakfast included - before was included and excellent. Exhaust fan in bedroom and noisy a/c. Pro's; beautiful grounds - although maintenance required to repair some walks and replace lights, room service meals not expensive, many swimming pools of which some are well maintained. Fitness area looked nice but didn't use. Overall still a very nice hotel resort (if own transport) but slipping in some areas and management possibly losing interest.

About 20 kilometers from the center of Korat. Spacious rooms, good service, a small swimming pool. Not a lot of restaurants nearby.
