Good atmosphere, beautiful beach, very helpful staff. Forgot my phone at the dining table and they kept it for me. Love the resort bar, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The beach is stunning, the fire show is amazing. The whole grilled fish is only 350 baht and it's really tasty. Every dish I ordered was delicious. No breakfast provided, but they have breakfast menu at the bar and it's not expensive. The beach is beautiful and the bed is super soft. The only downsides are that the water pressure is low and there are no hair towels provided. The resort doesn't provide hair towels, only foot towels and body towels. The reception is only open until 4 pm, after that there's no one there, not even during the night. Couldn't find any resort staff, or maybe they were hiding somewhere. Tried calling but couldn't get through. What would I do if there's an emergency at night? It feels like there's a ghost in the room, heard strange noises but couldn't find anything. If I encounter a ghost in the room in the middle of the night, who can help? How can I sleep? Please assist, especially during the night shift.

We loved this place. Just so beautiful, right on an amazing powder sand beach, with a great pool. The restaurant is so tasty, and a decent price. But also a bunch of other restaurants and bars walkable distance. They have music shows and fire shows most nights, but it's also very quiet after 10/11ish.m so you can sleep fine. You get a beautiful sunset, location is really amazing. The staff are what make it another level though. Super friendly, super helpful, bring you drinks/foods to your sunbed, really sweet. Cleaners are also great, and even when we didn't want cleaning they'd bring us water/clean towels. The rooms are good - we got a basic room/hut which is really insane value. Good air-con, hot shower, everything good. Potentially could do with a mattress topper on the bed as it's a bit hard, but hard beds seems to be the way in Thailand tbh. We really wished we could stay longer, it's such a paradise!!

The NBR is one of my top 5 preferred hotels in the world, this is the second time I've stayed there. 9 nights, Seaview room (last year stayed 4 nights Front room). Not much difference between these excellent rooms, honestly, yet the location of the Seaview makes the whole pool area as your front yard for an early morning smoke, or even a before-dawn dip in the sea. The hotel restaurant Nature Rocks is a gem by itself of superb Thai and Western food, I ate only there. Yes, for 9 and a half days: 9 breakfasts and 9 dinners and evening drinks (less 1 regretful breakfast elsewhere), and would do the same next time. The menu is rich, the food feels clean and healthy, and it takes time to try the various dishes, most of them superb. The beach - beyond belief, the cleanest , clearest and warmest you might ever imagine, from the kind that they put on tourist ads. Just this one is in real life. Multicultural atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening, sometimes interesting people to chat with. Or around the pool. The pool itself – didn’t try, have one at home, and I don’t use it either. Every morning, though, the pool deck is very thoroughly cleaned from the sand that yesterday’s users left. Another gem at the resort is the staff – most speak reasonable English (between good to understandable), and provide the service with a genuine friendly, open, and pleasantly proud attitude. By “proud” I do not mean “offish-proud” but warm and welcoming “non-servile proud”, which feels genuine and very pleasant. The water pressure is good, minding the location, aircon is great, even too cold, wi-fi is fast and excellent, room is SUPER clean. The resort offers scooters for rent, I’d recommend to take one for day travels around the island and for 7-11 runs. But only if you have a license and experience, the roads are very tricky. Reviews I'd read raved about this place and its location, which is why I booked here. In hindsight, I wish I'd booked somewhere further north, nearer civilisation, to be in walking distance of shops and other restaurants for some variety during our 5 days here. Nature Beach Resort (on Lonely Beach) is very far away from everything, and the roads are narrow with no pavement... not safe for pedestrians! If you're going to stay anywhere on Lonely Beach, be ready to pay daily taxi fares or ensure you have your own transport... unless you're happy to just lie on the beach here all day every day. The beach here is mostly very rocky at the shoreline, making entering and exiting the sea with bare feet tricky. The water itself is clean and the beach pristine, but there is no sea life to speak of, so don't bother bringing your snorkelling gear. The resort has a really good and well priced bar and restaurant (its best features), and a nice swimming pool. There are several massage bays very close by, as well as other simple beach bars a few steps away. The budget room we initially booked was not gonna cut it for 5 nights, so we upgraded to a garden room, which was much more comfortable. Overall, a nice spot, but be prepared to either lie around and do nothing, or book boat trips and excursions to pass the time here.

We booked the room on the very busiest holiday, Songkran, so we somehow only had option to stay 1 night with the budget bungalow and 1 night with upper price bungalow which was available at that time. The first bungalow was so tiny inside with a small refrigerator. It's for anyone who doesn't mind and just want a room to only sleep. The other night, the upper price bungalow, has more space in a room and better bathroom quality, however, if you plan to stay with 3 ppl, I still think it's quite small for the 3rd person, unless you come with baby or kid. Facility of the resort is good, swimming pool is clean, and you can access to beach easily. Dinner is perfect with many choices in the menus. The resort is in a good location and beautiful beach.
