North Houston hotels & places to stay

Good

Hotel is in a nice location for restaurants and shopping locations such as Wal-Mart. It is a bit further of a drive to downtown Houston than I had anticipated. With that said, it still wasn't too far, maybe 20 - 25 min.

I took only about 14 minutes to get to the hotel and pass by petrol or gas stations along the back way. Very spacious, with refrigerator , microwave and coffee maker. Did not try the breakfast.

Questionable area....A couple of domestic disturbances took place....We spent one night - a Saturday.....No noticeable places to eat around, but not an after dark kind of location....We got snacks from the nearby Chevron (cashier behind bullet proof glass).... Older facility, but about the only one around....We had a 6AM flight with a rental drop off.....At 4 miles aw...

Room was spacious and clean, front desk was medium friendly (I stood there quite long before someone came out of the back office) Breakfast is horrible... everything out of plastic cups and plates... Planes starting directly over the hotel, but I expected that at that location, so not their fault, but can be noisy!

We arrived at the airport and called for a shuttle and they informed us that we needed to give them a 12 hour notice , we had to take a taxi at 35.00 dollars and then for our morning flight out the first shuttle was at 7 am way to late!!! My stay at this hotel is excellent. The hotel is very clean and the front desk is very thorough. A great experience staying here.

I caught the last shuttle of the evening (just after midnight), so can't say what would happen outside of their normal hours. Friendly driver, and the hotel was only a few minutes away. Very friendly receptionist, I was SO glad to be greeted this way after a 14 hour flight from Taiwan! Free shuttles run back to the airport every half hour. Breakfast is included - haven...

Good hotel for a short stay close to the airport. Just spent the afternoon and evening before a flight. The pool was small but we were not there to swim. Some places to eat nearby and free shuttle to the airport the next day.

Workers there are very friendly and respectful. Have been going there for almost a year and everyone there are very friendly. Always trying their best to please me..

this was our first time staying at a best value inn, but were pleasantly surprised with the spacious room we were given considering the price we paid...there was a small sitting area by the door entrance of the room. we were really excited to see a dvd player.

The customer service was less satisfactory from the (presumably) owners, the driver of the shuttle spent the journey on his mobile, and with little assistance with bags. It seems to be a place where many students stay so there was parties until the small hours, something that wasn’t a huge problem for me as I only stayed a night. The hotel was great, very clean, very comfortable. Someone in a previous comment said pillows were bad they were awesome!!! The front desk guy was friendly and helpful and the place was extremely clean. Only negative comment is that it had a strange smell. Not intolerable or anything just not to MY liking. Great price, good breakfast...

The staff was excellent as was the breakfast. As an internationl travel writer I stay in a lot of hotels and the Comfort Suites was an excellent choice. The only issue is a lack of programming on their television.

It was a good location, but the internal vending machine was not good, coins were not returned even I did not buy any.

The customer service stood out to me the most, the receptionist Mattew was the best, assisted me in all things I need and answer every question I had.

The service was terrible.. my reservation was lost...The most terrible thing was the ROACHES!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER!!!!

Usually when staying at airport hotels and inns we adopted to a lower service and money, but this time they really surprised us. The value for money was great. The hotel is better than a Hyatt or any other 5 stars hotel. Much recommended.

The hotel seems to be in a process of remodeling; our room was generously large, somehow there were open spaces where one did not expect them, and more options for hanging your coats & shirts might be useful. It might be an old fashion-style of apartment, but its clean, tidy, and full with kitchenware. For those love cooking or come in a group, this might be the best value hotel to stay as you have an option to cook for your own meal. Great staying experience overall.

The bed vibrates a little to rock you to sleep in the suite...

Honestly, would have never stayed here, except that my flight to NYC was cancelled and I had to fly out the following morning instead. I got lucky booking through Agoda though. Since ALL flights to NYC and surrounding areas were cancelled due to inclement weather, I got one of the last remaining free rooms in the city, I think.

The hotel was a good one for staying after a late flight into Houston. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was what I expected for this type place. I would use it again if in the area.

Your basic airport hotel. 10 minutes driving. Very convenient.

The hotel is located next to a major road junction and one of the two entrances is from a freeway entry slip road. It is advisable to look on street view to see how to access the property rather than just putting the address in your GPS. Everything was clean and in working order.
