We had a fantastic stay! The hotel was close to las ramblas, plaza Catalonia, and all major metro stops which made getting around Barcelona a breeze! It happened to be my birthday too and they brought a brownie and a card to celebrate which was a complete surprise- absolutely recommend !

Straightforward, clean hotel in a great location”
The Regina was a pleasant hotel to stay in. The rooms are a good size and clean. Small water bottles were provided daily. Water pressure was a bit weak, but ok. The wifi was good (100Mbps download speed), but could be a bit spotty at times. The location is excellent, perfect for walking into various districts, close to metro, but just far enough off Ramblas to not have the din. AC was good.

Convenient bed & Breakfast ”
The hotel is conveniently located in Catalunya! My partner and i walked everywhere with ease! Hotel staff was amazing and provided good recommendations on where to go. A little disappointed that the hotel lack amentities - gym/pool and the fitness activities was very much overcharged. This really destroyed the chances of my partner taking a chance on exercising. Housekeeping was great. Room amentities was pretty decent (water/hair dryer/clean & big towels!). Shower was decent too. Overall - the price was a little too steep for the value in return .

Great location to explore Barcelona and comfortable room!”
I stayed 4 nights in the superior room. It is a large room with very comfortable beds, a spacious vanity area with two basins and a bathtub in the toilet. The walls are thin and you can hear the noise from the streets and other room doors shutting (similar to what I have read in other reviews but I guess most hotels in Barcelona are like that). Not a massive deal breaker given the great location and comfortable beds!

We weren't expected that this hotel was that close to Plaza Catalunya and the busy shopping street which is good for us. We love the hotel room and its interior. The only thing we regret that it gives us a bad view of the iron wall.

Lovely contemporary hotel with sizeable rooms”
Don't be fooled by its antiquated exterior. Housed in a building which was built in 1917 (I think), the hotel is a gem. I was concerned when I saw its old exterior and blue, tacky banner. I was so wrong. How pleasantly surprised i was to step into a contemporary lobby. Our room was very spacious. Even though our room was on the first floor and looked out to a busy street, it was very well insulated from any noise. Plush towels and bathrobes, and bedroom slippers are quintessential to an indulgent hotel stay and you get this at Regina at a very reasonable price. You can easily walk to La Rambla which is the main strip and take leisurely stroll to L'Exiample. Would have been great if it offered complimentary bottles of water which I think would have been a lively gesture. Pillows were too soft for our liking. This was our fave hotel throughout our four-city trip.

Regina Hotel Barcelona”
The Regina hotel is located just off Placa Catalyuna in central Barcelona. The location at the top of la Rambla is perfect for visiting anywhere in Barcelona. The metro station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel and all attractions in Barcelona and beyond are readily accessible. Staff encountered were helpful and resourseful. Beds are very comfortable and despite it's central location the hotel is very quiet.

Very good”
Hotel Regina is located at the center of Barcelona for tourists. It is about 2 minutes walk to the bus stop where the Aeroport bus from El Prat stops. 5 minutes away from Mercat La Bouquiera and La Ramblas, in the middle of all the shopping area, 5 minutes from Hard Rock Barcelona, 2 minutes from Catalunya and metro stops. It is literally in the middle of everything. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite and the hotel is very clean. The only issue I have with the hotel is that their lift is so tiny and there is no separate lift service for the staff, so when we were on our way to the ground floor a couple of times, their staff took the lift with their cart and no one else could really fit in. They would not give way to guests either...maybe they have rooms to clean and are pressured by time. But I suppose, the guests should have been given way before them. Other than that, I have no complaints. The room had all you needed. It is simple and minimalistic and nothing else.

4 day mini break”
All good at hotel just somewhere to sleep at night a bit like a posh premier inn really , we asked to have a room with a view of the street as some of the rooms face inwards to very dark but no traffic noise , we asked to be moved as didn't like that room ! We like the hussel and bussel you here when your in a city , so ask for a front view room or a back high floor room , as you will be out all day visiting the sites and sounds of Barcelona, based in a great position at the top of las ramblas, reception guys were very helpful suggesting good tapas restaurants buying tour bus tickets and letting us keep our suitcases in the safe room on the last day when we left at 5pm , check out is 12pm. Spandau Ballet were at the hotel having an interview for their come back tour on the 27/10/2014 whilst we were sat having a pot of tea !

Great hotel in perfect location”
it has been the second time that i stayed at regina hotel in barcelona and the stay was exactly what i expected. a charming hotel right in the center of this pulsating city of barcelona. 2 minutes walk to plaza catalunya, las ramblas and the starting point of many excursions. the rooms are small but ok. what counts here is definitely location. book early as room rates go up when the city fills up and your traveling dates are getting closer. would definitely go back.

A perfect Barcelona city centre hotel”
We were staying in this hotel at the beginning of our trip to Catalonia in August-September 2013. We wanted to spend a couple of days in Barcelona, just to enjoy this city again; and this hotel matched well to our targets: in 1 minute walk to the square of Catalunia with easy access to public transport and to the airport shuttles, starting their service from the square. The room was perfect: clean, everything was in a very good condition. The hotel staff is friendly and responsive. Room service was fast. We would stay here again for our next trip to Barcelona.
