Ba Ria Vung Tau hotels & places to stay

Just finished a 2 night stay at The Imperial Hotel, Vung Tau. The hotel in in an excellent location with access to a private beach front. Behind the hotel is the night market and seafood market where you can enjoy barbequed seafood at low prices. It is a 2 minute drive from the Lotte Mart shopping centre. The hotel has a few pools, one alongside the beach which is really beautiful. Restaurants are good and reasonably priced. Hotel is spectacularly decorated and rooms are large. Beds were very comfortable. Shower water flow was weak but that is the only negative remark about our whole stay. We really enjoyed our stay particularly the beach side pool. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Vung Tau – this is one of the best hotels. We hope to return one day.

This was in our 6 week honeymoon definitely the most perfect resort. We stayed here for 6 days and didn't want to leave. The ocean front villa offered such a wonderful stay. With the private pool it made the stay really perfect. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, so much to choice and everything prepared with love. The staf were all very friendly and the butler did a perfect job, just by leaving us in peace. Dining in the six senses was very expensive and the drinks evenso ( for example: glass of champagne €32,-; $27,-) We rented a motorbike to go in town for diner and got our beers in a supermarket. Thu ba restaurant is clean, good food and served you properly. Just bring the lonely planet for a translation in Vietnamese. Thus the only thing we find a drawback were the prices of the drinks and food in the resort. Sure they may be more expensive than a normal restaurant. But this was to much. Furthermore the offered airport transfer was $10,- pp per fare in a minibus. We took a local taxi at the airport for only $ 5,- and still payed to much for the 7 kms long ride. We had expected more from a resort like six senses in these matters, that's why they score lower on that account. However! We will go back there for sure!! as it was the most perfect experience and can recommend it to all who are willing to pay the smal price for such a unique experience!

Malibu Vung Tau staff were warm and hospitable. Upon arrival we were greeted and requested for early check-in. The staff guided us upstairs to our room doors and the moment we stepped into the room it smells like flora scent, sparkling clean. The bathtub in the room is definitely worth paying extra for, huge enough to accommodate 2 person in it. We are about 1.75m and we both fit in comfortably. The line cafe dessert and drink at the hotel lobby is definitely worth trying out while waiting to check in. I love the cakes and peach drink at the cafe staff provided us with advise on attractions When we checked out, the staff were attentive and helpful in guiding us to check out and getting a bus back to Saigon city. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is definitely worth dining in for, we had American steak the visual and taste aspect are worth every single cent , money well spent.👍🏻 Swimming pool at Malibu is a must go, especially for girls that likes to take photos.

I booked 2 rooms in there however I never back again. The service very bad, I go there with my family but they release 2 rooms in 2 diffirent houses and very far and the recieption didn’t inform to us from the beggining, we only know it when I receive room. After that we want to change to another 2 rooms in 1 house but the lady manager didn’t support, she gave me a lot reason but I think it’s not a good way support customer, she’s not friendly and not support at all. I tried some resort in Long Hai and Vung Tau but this is the first time I recieved the service like this. About the room is fine, a little bit small but clean, easy to call shuttle car however the light in stair not working in everning, we must use the light from mobile phone when we want to in or out room. The resort need to improve the service.

For years, the only 5 star option in Vung Tau was The Imperial and i was really happy to see a Pullman locate there so i can have different option. The price in Pullman was competitive too so we decided to book 2 rooms for my group of friends. When we arrived around 12-1pm there was a large group tour (more than 5 tour buses outside) checking-out so we couldn't even find our way to reception counter. Perhaps hotel can provide group check out in different area to improve check-in/out experience for other guests. After we left for lunch at the mall next door, we came back and check-in proceed quickly. The room was superb, comfy bed, great amenity but i was not happy when they showed they welcomed guests via TV screen, they put wrong name, my friends weren't really happy with this so i called reception and was informed once it showed on TV, i couldnt be changed or inout new one. I didnt have breakfast but i ordered the food at the restaurant and it was one of the best dish i've ever tried in Vung Tau. The staff was helpful and friendly too. We came to Vung Tau because of the beach and cant say how disappointed i was when i found out the hotel didn't have private beach area. The other 5star hotel, they have excellent beach club. I dont really need a beach club, just a private area with sun beds. The pool also let us down, very bad design. In era when every pools built with infinity concept, this pool reserved old fashion style. Other times, i've chosen Imperial because of their beach and pool facilities. Hopefully, Pullman can fix this soon as i like staying in reliable global .

We traveled to the Con Dao island to stay one night at the Poulo Condor Boutique Resort and Spa. After our two days and one night spent our only regret was that we did not book a full week at this wonderful place! The resort feels like stepping into a luxurious world of peace and quiet, surrounded by nature and plenty of activities to enjoy like snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, yoga, gym, biking and there was even a giant chess board and Jenga game to play on the grounds. This place is truly unique and one of the best places we have ever stayed at. My partner had his birthday during our stay and the staff kindly surprised him with a cake in our room when we arrived back from a day at the beach. The food was of top quality, especially the lunch down at the beach restaurant was particularly good with a mix of both Western and Vietnamese dishes. We also want to congratulate the resort for having the most friendly staff. They even helped send my lost phone back to me from the island!

Best location in Vung Tau, a quiet and romantic hotel looking out over the sea. The view at sunset over the infinity pool to the sea is just incredible. Indeed, it is worth coming here for the pool alone! Our room was spotless and well appointed. The staff are just gorgeous. So friendly and helpful. They booked transport for us to our next destination, and waited on us hand and foot. Excellent service and management. An excellent, generous breakfast worthy of a much more expensive establishment. Don't miss Vung Tau and a stay here at Cap Léman. If Saigon is the Paris of the east, Vung Tau is Cannes. This is a really lovely hotel.

The facilities are exceptionally well maintained. The breakfast is a buffet with western and Vietnamese cuisine. Each day, there are different activities you can sign up for; on Saturday it's an all you can eat buffet with BBQ seafood dinner. The beach is private and clean - mosquitoes are not a problem if it's windy. Insect repellent is available inside your room. The staff is very helpful and look happy. Cons: pillows are a little bit too high. The air conditioner was a little bit noisy but bearable. We stayed at Ladybird rooms (partial sea view). Stay at the very least 2 nights - best is 3+ nights. It costs 650k to come here from Vung Tau (bartered) and 800k from the resort to VungTau.

high end resort hotel in vung tau, this is worthy of a 5 star rating for its accomodation and services. the rooms are new, well appointed, modern and clean. comfortable beds, large shower with hand held or huge rain spray, ocean views over vung tau to die for. book the top floor on weekdays for less crowds in and around vung tau. staff are helpfull, polite and willing to assist. the gardens are immaculate maintained. house keeping is quick efficient and honest. the restaurant food was good standard and varied. enjoyed my stay very much.

the room is very clean and has a lot of sunlight. the food taste amazing and has a chef that worked in a 5* hotel. the breakfast buffet is both Asian and westerner style so there's much choice of food while staying. the hotel has a small cafe in front of it so it's easy if you ever want to get a drink or just sit and enjoy the fresh air of Vung Tau. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay here at the Phoenix hotel Vung Tau and I highly recommend it to all others who are planning trips to the city of Vung Tau.

This hotel is about 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City, almost same as Vung Tau, but here you can relax much better because it is not crowded - only nature and long-stretching beach. Hotel's territory is very well designed, beautiful gardens and a long stream running along the main path with bridges and a lot of fish. There is even an orchid garden. A lot of places for kids to play: large playground outside, a room for children inside one of the buildings, a section of swimming pool. If the aim of your trip is to relax from the city or to have a good time with your children this is a really good choice.

We stayed 5 nights at this resort. We had a mountain view room booked through Agoda. This was a bad choice - I would recommend the small triangular huts or one of the rooms with sea view. Rooms are comfortable with fridge, shower, satellite Tv, and a nice and soft bed (for Vietnam). Note that the hotel has 2 floors and no elevator. The food is expensive all over the island. The food in the restaurant at the resort is under seasoned and bland. Breakfast buffet has eggs done as you like, but other than that there is only Vietnamese choices such as congee, noodles, soup etc. Go early, as the staff is not able to refill fruits, bread etc when they run out and to keep the buffet area clean. We tried the recommended Tru Ba (or something like that) restaurant. The staff were really nice and the food tasted good, but we had food poisoning for 1,5 day. The hotel offers very limited tourist information. They don't provide maps. They offer 5 tours from 450.000 dongs and up excl. food, drinks, guide service, i.e. only car service. I think the best option is to rent a motorbike. But if you -like us, because we don't want to ride it with our 1 year old daughter- are not able to ride one, we recommend to go for a trip with Mr , see below.

It's a wonderful resort in Phuoc Hai (can be in Vung Tau province). We stayed in a unit in condotel, feeling like a home. Resort has a beautiful swimming pool with blue/white color code. Breakfast was okie to me and we had dinner in resort too, not bad. The only thing I could not do is swim on the beach, is's too strong for me who can't swim well. Last thing is this resort will be the best for who like selfie... :)

Everything was so great except we booked and paid more for apartment but they offered me the petro suite which it smaller with no kitchen, Agoda couldn't helped. Because hotel explained they have no apartment as is showed on Agoda. Anyway u should not book apartment unless u want to pay more to stay in petro suite. Everything else was great, big suite, room service awesome, breakfast buffet delicious, staffs friendly accept staffs worked in restaurant. The most important thing I like is the jacuzzi bathtub that you hardly find even in 5 star hotel. Loved it. And the reasonable price can beat anywhere. I will still stay here for next visit vung tau even though the problem I've had here

The apartment was very nice with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We booked for two days, but stayed an extra day because it was so nice. The included breakfast was better than we expected and the restaurant has a nice menu. The staff -- especially Wendy Hang and Sasha Kieu were very helpful and so very nice. We really enjoyed the very large and very clean swimming pool. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Vung Tau.

Nothing bad to say! I got a very competitive last-minute rate, even my stay included one weekend night (Friday). Hotel clearly exceeded my expectations. Hotel is facing the sea, and even my "City view" room had a very nice partial seaview. rooms are what you would expect from a 3-star hotel, are very clean and everything worked properly. Tiled floors, which I prefer over a musty carpet. Front desk ladies spoke enough English to discuss all matters. I believe that this is the best midrange-option one can have in Vung Tau for such a low rate. Highly recommended

Wind was way above our expectations. The first impression as you enter the hotel is very nice. We were greeted by the manager, Thong, and made to feel very welcome. She took care of getting our evening meal delivered and the breakfast ordered for the next morning. The room and grounds are absolutely top-notch. The photos in Agoda don't do it justice. Our room had a huge LED tv in the living room and a nice one in the bedroom also. Also a water dispenser with H/C water is in the room, so no need for bottled water. We really felt everything was well thought out for a great guest experience. The pool is sparkling clean and as you go there, you will see the gym, sauna and steam room. All are first-rate. Every day we stayed was great, the room was made up perfect every day. Absolutely no complaint. On our last day, we met the Canadian owner, who is a really nice guy. Most of the staff speaks English and are helpful with trip suggestions. The only thing that was unexpected was when we were dropped off by our limo service. The climb up road to the hotel stairs is pretty steep, and the stairs are about as challenging. If you have any problems with that, you should call the front desk and have them send down their hotel taxi for you. We chose to make the climb and it does get easier as you get used to it. A taxi can drive directly to the hotel if you ask them to do so. Otherwise they let you off at the street side. We live in Saigon, and when we return to Vung Tau we will definitely stay at Wind Boutique Resort. It was above our expectations.

Vung Tau in general feels very dated, and so too does this hotel so it came to be expected. Reception staff are very friendly. I opted for an additional $5/night and got a room almost double the size of my friend's (basically a suite, with seating area, ensuite, main bathroom, etc). Location is great. Didn't try out the gym or pool though but they both seemed popular with the other patrons. I did try the buffet breakfast though and found it lacklustre. There were ants on my table and the 'continental' selection was lacking. I opted for the usual beef pho. I probably wouldn't stay here again as there are other options but I would if I had no other options.

Ready for wachting the stars as u never did., 10 mts bungalow from an empty beach, kindness local personal,plenty restaurants around...the one at the hotel no one of the best... Nice big rooms but take ur mosquito spray as usual and some more devices to kill them and some other insects... But no problem as u r at the beach and forest around, so what to expect. The hotel Will give u free shuttle to/from airport if u let them know ur arrival time. At the reception u can rent a motorbike brand NEW to move around...best option!...internet at the room not good but excelent at he reception!... Nice rural bathroom and big bed!.only tv local channels...although they had satélite decoder... Enjoy!... Perfect for couples!!...

We often go to the Imperial next door but this time we chose to stay in a more affordable hotel and it was very pleasant. The porter greeted us and took our bags to our room. The check-in was efficient with plenty of English and things looked good from the first impression of the lobby. Our room had a lovely view over the sea and back over Vung Tau city and the mountains. Everything looked clean and well maintained. The swimming pool was well managed with a young guy watching the kids and I ordered a couple of beers watching my daughter enjoy herself. The breakfast has no cereal but there was plenty of eggs , toast and meat as well as salad. I do find the Imperial a bit pretentious with all the fake Regency paintings and statues. The Sammy has all the facilities without the cost and the phoney environment. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for a pleasant few days ar Vung Tau

I visited Valley Mountain Hotel for a few days to relax at the end of my trip. I stayed in the VIP room which were pristinely kept, very clean and comfortable. While I was in Vung Tau my camera when missing, the staff at the hotel were very helpful with calling up the restaurant and taxi company where I last recall having it to help me try and get it back. Unfortunately, the camera was never found but the staff did everything they could to help me. During my staff I was made to feel very welcome. I spent a lot of time but the pool and had the opportunity to observe how much the staff do to keep the hotel running smoothly and looking great. The chef accommodated my request for vegan breakfast and the food was good. The only minor shortfall is that the hotel is a way out of Vung Tau but it is worth it for the peace and quiet and it is easy enough to get a cab into town.

We had a pleasant stay at the resort, it was only for 1 night. It is very peaceful there (must still be low season as not many guests there). We had a room looking towards the sea which was lovely. It was also great to hear the waves crashing. The beach was fine, with fisherman dotted about. It was a pleasant walk along the beach. The staff were courteous and friendly. I did not enjoy Vung Tau, so it was great to be away from that area.

One night away from Ho Chi Minh City. Mid-week Thursday, so very quiet. First time to Vung Tau, but I imagine it is busier on a weekend. Took a bus to Vung Tau on a Wednesday night. Left in the afternoon on Thursday by Ferry. Took the cable car to Ho May Park. Ferry and Cable Car are walking distance from the Rex Hotel. Good location. Many restaurants in the area as well.

The resort is far from the center. It takes 15 minutes to get to Sai Gon Binh Chau from Xuyen Moc station, (50K VND/person by motobike taxi)If you choose bus route from HCMC to Vung Tau. The scene is very nice, you are surrounded by the eco atmosphere. Just a few minute, you will find yourself in the middle of the jungle, completely quiet. I came here in Thursday and it is not very crowded. We are the only guests at the resort restaurant. Any at night, it is really adventurous cuz after having dinner, come back to your room at a hotel (there are several hotels (houses)in the resort. The infrastruture is good, infact, great. People are supportive. Hot spring is not very hot (not hot enough) Morning, when you wake up, you open the windows and you are in the middle of the jungle.
