My wife and I recently stayed at Caldera Villas in Oia. It was our last night in Santorini and our only night in Oia. The location is a bit tricky to find at first. As they explained to us, they meet most of their guests at their point of arrival and show them to their rooms. We arrived via car and just asked around and found it no problem. It was still very early in the season for Santorini and the reception area was being opened up for the first time of the year. The staff was very apologetic for the inconvenience even though it was really no issue. The location is set down 60 or 70 steps from the streets of Oia. There staff willingly lugged all our bags down the hill for just the one night even though we offered to consolidate the bags to make it easier. The room itself had a spectacular view with double doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the caldera. The bathroom was spacious enough and had a spa type shower system with a ain shower head, multiple body shower heads, as well as a handheld one. Lighting and decor was unique and very nice. For us the best part of our stay was the service we received after we had already checked out. We realized, just as we were about to board our ferry for the trip to Athens, that we had left our passports locked in the safe. Being at the far end of the island there was no way we could get the passports before the ferry left. We called the hotel and explained the situation and the immediately went about trying to get our passports. They said we could get on the ferry and they should be able arrange for a courier service through our hotel in Athens. While on the ferry to Athens, I receive an email saying the passports are in hand and that they have already arranged for them to go out first thing in the morning via next-day courier service. I asked how to pay them for their efforts as well as for the shipment and they said they would take care of it all. We received our passports as promised and are now home in the US.

We had a suite for a steal during fire sales. This hotel was one of the best hotel we stayed during our travel. The main bedroom was comfortable with nice bed and big balcony. One thing that puzzled me was the placement of the fridge cabinet, which was also the table for the LCD TV. It was placed behind the door to the bedroom in such a way that the door cannot open fully. The room was big and they could easy place the cabinet on the opposite side of the room. The 2nd bedroom has a balcony as well but was not so good as the main bedroom. The bed was a foldable bed that was not so comfortable and there was no mirror or dustbin. All there is in this 2nd bedroom was a foldable double bed, a single bed, a table and a chair. Nothing else. The bathroom was big and clean but no floor mat. We asked for one which was given but it was taken away the next day during housekeeping. The hotel provides free transport to the town area every 2hours which saves us a lot of transportation cost. Free pick up to and from the port as well. The staffs were all very friendly, especially those at the restaurant when we were having our breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend this hotel.

We've chosen the president suite at the hotel. It was really big and it's for 4 people. We are only 2, and we have 2 King size beds and 2 showers and 4 toilets. The hotel arranged airport pick up and drop off service. The driver is a kind interesting old man, he introduced the island on the way to hotel. The staff helped us carried the luggages and gave us a detailed instructions of the room and sight seeing spots. The view of our huge balcony has a outstanding view of the valcono and we have the biggest private swimming pool. Although we can not see the sunset from the room, but the hotel can help you book a boat trip to watch the sun set on the sea (95-145 euros/person), far from the crowded people in Oia. The beds are comfortable and clean. The facilities are up to date. The breakfirst are varied and you have many choice. The hotel is close to walking path in Oia but is very quiet. Most importantly the hotel do care about the privacy and has shelters on both sides!

so we took the buses from the ferry terminal to oia. we went to the information centre for direction, but was instead advised that our hotel booking is waiting for us and that someone will help us with our luggage :) wow! i could not stop omg-ing when i arrived at the hotel and was given a tour from the reception area to our room by elena (1 of the 2 very nice staff). honestly, santorini is an amazing island, and by staying at this hotel,it's just giving you the most of santorini. we had a room right by the ocean (separated by the bush and walls, but nothing else), with our own sunbeds, and chairs and a table on our balcony, overlooking the whitewashed buildings and the aegean. when the room door was opened, my jaw just dropped, literally. amazing. it was a self contained studio with mini kitchen and connected lounge area to the bedroom. breakfast area is just unbelievably beautiful. the girls are just the most welcoming, the most hospitable. thank you so much!! no swimming pool, but they do have 2 jacuzzis. it's simply the best.

Actually we have previous booking for another hotel 2 month before the trip, but Agoda cancelled my booking just 1 week before the trip, because the room is over booked. I was super angry. During this last minutes change, most of the rooms are full in Santorini and the prices are increased. I have not choice but book Manos small world, which is near my previous booking hotel. I found Mano Small world is the best hotel we have stayed during this trip, good location with great views and nice breakfast, helpful staff. Will consider to stay again if revisit Santorini.

This is the second time we are in Santorini. We stayed at the honeymoon suite which has an amazing view over Thira. The hotel and suite is located at the top of the cliff so it simply has the best over Thira I guarantee. The altitude is also the highest among every other hotel in Thira. There may be other hotels with fancier pool, but this hotel is just the best because of the location. The hotel has 3 honeymoon suites and each of them comes with a nice balcony and private Jaccuzi. We spent a day just in the hotel and was the most amazing moments of our trip in Greece. You should also try the Yellow Sea Restaurant which is one star Michelin accredited. Cocktails were nice. Everything in the room is clean. Just come stay and you will know what I mean (stay in Honeymoon suite, though it is not for family as it’s name implies)

I stayed in 3 hotels during my stay in Santorini. And Tholos Resort is by far the best among these three. Pro: 1. You ordered the breakfast the night before. And it would be served to you at your balcony next morning. Having the tasty breakfast at your balcony with the great view of the caldera! 2. Room is spacious. The washroom is also spacious. I like the room very much. Cons: 1. Pay the money and use the hotel's airport/ferry port transfer service. It is VERY difficult to locate the hotel if it is your first time in Santorini.

My girlfriend and I booked this trip within a month of our planned travels. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated with such kindness. The staff, from the front desk to the servers to the cleaning people, were always smiling and willing to help. Amazing hospitality. The front desk assisted us with booking cabs, making resverations, and also providing several recommendations. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Mykonos Essence and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for making our trip amazing!

I had the best time at Exclusive plan suites in Santorini!. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. one of best view you will get offered from the spa bath that just amazing!! My room was very clean and a big bath room that 2 basins and 2 shower together!. Handy location that little restaurants and mini marts. There are so many nice hotels in Santorini but I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Santorini.

The hotel is worth for money due to its location strategic right in front of OIA famous caldera view. You can easily catch the best view from your room balcony itself. The hotel provide awesome swimming services with extra charge of euro 15 with both the pool access and breakfast. the swimming pool is the place even perfect for having the best sunset. The room is clean just like staying in a cage. but the mattress is too soft. you would not be able to locate the hotel easily. the best thing is when you arrive at OIA bus station just look for a shop called Tourist Information centre just right beside the groceries shop. The receptionist will arrange a bell boy to help you carry your luggage else you may have a hard time if carrying yourself on own as the route to the hotel is super far from the bus station

Amazing friendly staff. Eleni was great and super helpful with getting us transportation, setting up ATVs, etc. breakfast was also amazing every morning, even though I’m sure we annoyed them with our late wake ups. Housekeeping was very responsive. Pool and views were amazing. Private hot tub was also sweet and had a great view. Had dinner there the last night which was also amazing and priced fairly. Nice location that’s pretty quiet and feels like a nice getaway from Fira/Oia crowds. Loved our stay there!

We arrived around dusk to the most spectacular sunset we could have imagined. The setting of this hotel is truly spectacular!!! Forget going elsewhere when you have the best view from your room! The staff here were all extremely friendly and accommodating, and even located us in a room right by the pool so that we could be close to our room when our baby was napping. We would definitely recommend staying here in Imerovigli as opposed to overcrowded Oia and Fira. We had a very relaxing and beautiful stay here. They were even so kind as to provide a baby cot without any extra charge. We were so grateful that everyone was so welcoming to our little family, and even offered to hold our baby whilst we ate our lunch. The lunch itself was also very good quality and really reasonably priced. I really can't say enough good things about our stay here. We absolutely loved it and were so so happy to have chosen this location to stay in Santorini.

The hotel is perched up on a high hill near elia beach and has extremely beautiful views. The hotel itself is very well kept, clean, very friendly staff and has a great cozy bar and restaurant. Ideally you should rent a car as the hotel is tucked away on a beautiful but far side of mykonos. But that should not stop you from staying here as in my opinion, it's one of the best boutique hotels in Mykonos.

They take their time to personalize things for you, go the extra mile in their recommendations that help you save money and are always on the look out to make our stay extra special. They left us thrilled with their special gift and overall treatment.

The hotel offers stunning views from most of the rooms and common areas. Sunsets are gorgeous and it feels like the hotel is in the ideal place. We ended up buying bottle of wine with cheese/meat plate and having dinners on the balcony watching sunset. Rooms are not big, but very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable bed, nice shower, small touches like good quality bath accessories, tea/coffee and large bottle of water every day. Breakfast is probably the best we've had in Greece so far (would be even better with freshly squeezed juice, though, not juice from concentrate). Add panorama views from breakfast tables outside and breakfast lasts for hours. Paying for the same experience in a restaurant would be at least 40 euros. Good pool. Service is great - everyone is friendly and very helpful. Shuttle from the ferry is free and easy (and emails were answered within minutes) Close walk to the town and car/bike rentals. Walk back is a bit challenging during the heat time, but still short - hill is couple hundred meters.

these guys were great from my girlfriend and i walking into the hotel the man on the desk took our bags to our room, (which he promptly upgraded because they had one free) then helped show us where the closest things were that we wanted to do, gave us maps! my friend was sick on the first night so they helped us get delivery food from a restaurant for me!! in the morning great breakfast, pretty good selection- great coffee which is hard to find and few of the other guests would just stay in the tables all day gettning served ice coffees untill lunch came then got onto the cocktails!! great service, very friendly all staff take the time to get to know you and will say hello, serve you right to your room or poolside, will help with directions things to do, ordering taxis, what ports you need, will help you with everything you need!! they also have a hire bike shop under the hotel, very close to the super markets, little shops, beautiful beach, but you wont want to leave the pool! You must stay here in mykonos! not that close to the beach party but will be a cheap taxi or you just hire bikes, 4 wheelers or cars for the days you want to go down there 4-7 euro taxi to town which arrives in under 4 mins after ordering! worth the money and the stay!!

It seemed hard to find it but it truly is centrally located in Fira/Thira. Very close to bus station and restaurants. Great point to get out and find tour operators around, lots of shopping too. The staff is very friendly and kind. I enjoyed every part of it. I was also very surprised how large my room was and I paid for the least expensive. The bed was very large too for a budget hotel. I found it perfect cleaned everytime I came from my daily walks. The staff always assisted me when I needed help, for example, I could not figure how to make the AC worked so the gentleman came up right away and helped me. It also was recently painted so the smell of paint was very strong. He took care of it right away. Their English skills is not the best, they're very patient and I know they are leaning very fast too... I can't complain about it since I don't speak any Greek. Speake slowly to them, and repeat if necessary. They are very kind people.

This hotel is near the airport so we use it as a base and travel to other islands from it. For us , the location is excellent because it is very, very close to the airport -you can see and hear the planes land. This might be a problem for other users but like the fact that the area is otherwise very quiet. A lot of Santorini has been ruined because it is s touristy and busy. The hotel has a fantastic pool and the rooms are simple but nice. The most notable thing about this hotel is the staff who are exemplary. They are so helpful and friendly and for us, this is important because we are constantly booking taxis, car hire, ferries etc.

We had 12 people in our group, and we used five rooms at the hotel. Everyone had a wonderful experience. The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was always great, especially the breakfasts!! The pool service was lovely, too. We would definitely stay here again.

Location The hotel is location in Ornos area of Mykonos right in front of the beach. On a windy day you will have the treat of seeing wind surfers on the waves. One quick bus ride to town (station is 5 min walk) Hotel Very clean, with parking and beautiful pool with a view. Our room was a suite and it has a great view of the pool and the beach and the room itself was very spacious Staff My favorite part of the whole experience was the staff, Terry was amazing as you check in he will fill you in on all the things to do around and is very helpful with all your questions. We had many great chats together and he is always a quick call away to answer your questions and make your experience amazing. Dimitry is super sweet and he picks you up form the airport. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mykonos

We had a great stay at Oia Mare. Oia Mare is a wonderful, romantic botique hotel. My husband and I stayed in a Superior Suite. We had outstanding views; we could watch the sun set from our balcony! The room was spacious and clean; the bath was clean as well (very important attribute to me in any hotel stay) and was supplied with good towels. The bed was comfortable-- not too hard or soft. The hotel staff was friendly and handled issues promptly. (We had some ants in our room and they addressed it right away). The hotel offered nice touches like a complementary bottle of wine for us to enjoy when watching the sunset. The location is fantastic. The villas are located half way down the cliff. The hotel seems to be just far enough away from the congested main pedestian thoroughfares; therefore, it is quiter. In just a few minutes walk you can reach shops or restaurants. The flip side though is that the hotel may be tough to reach for those who have physical challenges; there are a lot of stairs and switchbacks to the main street. We did not use the pool, but did use the community deck chairs--a great place to hang out for the day. The continental breakfast was okay; cold foods were much better than hot foods. If you are driving, try to park at the Hellenic Post Office. It is the lot that is closest to the Best Western (where you check in); the Oia Mare porter will then meet you to help you with your bags. The Oia Mare is a great place to relax and recharge; I can't wait to go back.

It’s on my favorite part of the island and so close to such an amazing view of the Caldera with an equally great view of the rest of the island. The best part was the hospitality extended by Panos. I had never visited Greece before but can’t wait to return because of the great experience I had at Villa Libertad. The breakfast (and view) was great and the room much bigger than I expected.

I have to be honest and say that I was quite disappointed. The hotel is beautiful and well staffed. However the only staff who impressed me was the porter. We booked junior suite with CALDERA VIEW. When we checked in and were brought to our suite (it was a loft), we were quite shocked to see that the suite did not have any windows (except a tiny one at the upstairs of the loft where only the minibar and a couch was situated), much less a view. We had to ask if they had any other rooms available for them to give us a room with a view - but not before the staff told me something about how we booked a deluxe room and they had already upgraded us etc. She was polite about it, but all the hassle (we had to wait quite a while for the change) and confusion was not how we had planned the start of our stay there. The room we got in the end was okay, but for the price we paid it was nothing impressive at all. They had a heated pool in the hotel, but the temperature of the water was still too cold for any human beings to frolick in - anyone who took a deep came back up freezing within 10 minutes. Staff performance was also not fantastic - we had received much more personalised and attentive service elsewhere. All in all I would say for the price I would rather stay at Grace.

The check in was very easy as they knew we were coming and everything was all ready. The view is just stunning. The disappearing edge opens out into the sea with the volcanic island rising out. Our room was ready and they carried our bags down from the car park (no easy feat) THE ROOM: we were in room 105 (recommended), a junior suite. It is a cave style room and just incredible. All white with curtains and round ceilings and a mezzanine area. Our own kitchen and very spacious bathroom. We were slack jawed. And then our welcome glasses of local soft fizz arrived. The room also has an iPod music dock. BREAKFAST: this is preordered each day and they bring breakfast down to your room or outside on the pool terrace - as you like. We, being greedy, had sparkling wine, fruit, eggs, local pastries every morning. This is made off site and brought to you everyday. SERVICE: flawless. They booked restaurants, made recommendations, booked cars, day excursions, dropped us off at the airport etc. All great. The shaved head Croatian guy is phenomenal, friendly and well-informed. There are 5* hotels that could really learn a thing or two from this guy. VALUE: so we found a good online deal and we could not believe our luck. Santorini and Caldera views don't come cheap. This is perfect is perfect for honeymoons and romantic weekends. At 3x the price we would find this place great value. LOCATION: in terms if where it is in the island, it's great and easier if you have a car. In terms of in Fira, it's about a 15 min walk into town. You need to be fit. There's a lot of stairs coming up from the hotel. If you need disabled access I'm not sure if this is a practical place to stay but you will have this all around the caldera. It's a must stay. We are so glad we went.
