Ilia Department hotels & accommodations

You would be mad not to stay at this guesthouse. The staff are wonderful. Damiano, the owner loves helping people and doing everything to make sure your stay is enjoyable and hassle free. He printed our ferry tickets and rang our hire company to organise a drop off at the port. He gave us his card if we needed help with anything on our trip. This guesthouse is a real gu...

Very clean and comfortable room with a lovely balcony overlooking the street. Perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the ancient site. Very helpful owner, who let us put on a load of washing. Great to have access to a shared kitchen too. Everything we needed for our stay!

The hotel is great, but I first want to talk about the excellent service by the lady at the front desk (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name!) Our rental car had a flat tire and we needed to find a place to repair/change the tire. Being 'Mericans, we didn't speak a bit of Greek. She helped us out by calling around a few places for us and recommended a place close-by s...

The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was centrally located. It was next to the bus stop and right on the main square. The single room had a bathtub and balcony, and was well worth the stay. Breakfast is not included, but cheap (10 euros for a buffet). There is a church in the central square, so on Sundays the service can be heard (with windows closed) from 7am. I...

Hotel was okay, breakfast basic. Located within walking distance to the historical site. Wlan didn't work and the owner just answered, that it works on his smartphone - well ... Unfportunately dogs were barking all night long, but for this we won't blame the management

We stayed on the ground floor and it was so noisy, the door was thin as a paper. And the wardrobe was broken, the blanket was stink and etc. Felt horrible whole night and couldn't fall asleep. We would not recommend this hotel unless you are taking the early ferry to Zakynthos like us :/
