My stay here was lovely. Really nice staff and the owner is lovely. Working internet and a beautiful terrace to relax with a coffee on. Would recommend to others.

The hotel is quite old but still looks in good shape. A little expensive for the facilities but okay.

Absolutely fantastic .... Dropped only one point and that's location .... Having said that after dark we have had the same feeling in other Brazilian major cities .. in more so called uptown areas .... Just be streetwise ... PLEASE. ... . Please don't let us put you off staying here location will not stop us returning next time in BH

This hotel is in the center of the city. You can walk to bus station and almost any place in the city. shopping near by. night life near by. very safe place. no english whatsoever. you need to know few words in portegese. breakfast is standard. almost any 3 star hotel serves the same breakfast. room was super clean. restroom was aduquate. over all this is a good place ...

The location was great! The staff was really helpful and breakfast was a wide range of breads, fruits, and other foods to get your day started. There are many great places to eat and beautiful places to visit near by! There's even parking, which is perfect because it's often hard to find in the center of the city!

We were in BH for just a couple nights and while we mainly hung out in Savassi, the SDE worked well for us. It was clean, and mostly comfortable (although the beds are hard), and the hotel seems newly renovated.

The hotel has nice and clean rooms. Free wifi and acces to a gym with pool. Friendly service and a great locatioN!

ok, so here is the deal, the location was amazing, and we actually felt very safe in room, however, you couldn´t lock the room. you could lock the door, but there was a large window (about 6´up) between the bathroom and the hall that didn´t lock. there was also a small table just out side our room that would have made it quite simple for anyone to climb in through t...

It was a Nice stay but breakfast was not só good

Check in very friendly. We speak only a tiny bit of Portuguese, they speak no English! but we were made to feel very welcome. We loved the traditional mix of naive art, pretty painted furnature,and antiques, the pretty little gardens and nice little seating areas. Breakfast was charming!the breakfast quiche was particularly good!

It was fairly pleasant. The place is a bit expensive, but facilities are excellent. They server a great breakfast. The front staff speak english, but there are still challenges in communication! Experience for an english speaking travel can be improved. Thanks..

Having flown halfway round the world we needed a stop-over on our drive from Sao Paulo to Belo Horizonte. This hotel worked for that purpose. The staff had little English but tried hard and we got by. The hotel was just off the highway, so you can't miss it! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in great condition and very clean. The room was a great size for relaxation and the breakfast was fit for a king!

Nice place, good for children because of the cute garden. The only thing that was quite ennoying is the fact that there was not single closet in the apartment. You have no space at all to put anything, except on the big bench in the living area. So put everything there: luggage, clothes, plates, baby-stuff & toys... For the rest, the service was top, with nice breakfas...

The room was big, the food was great, the the air cond is leaking a lot of water! The air conditioner does not have a drain system, condensed water just drop out of air conditioner and onto the floor

The pousada was beautiful - airy and spacious with plenty of communal spaces. The breakfast/dining area was not only lovely, but historically very interesting. The breakfasts were fantastic, including eggs from their own chickens cooked over a wood fire. The owner and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here, and would highly recommend it ...

The stay was good and we got good help from the staff to arrange transotrt to the airport. The location is ok and it is walking distance to the central plaza. The room was ok and the breakfast was very good.

The Pousada Casa dos Contos was a great find for us on agoda the day we left Belo Horizonte for Ouro Preto. We booked and immediately got confirmation and peace of mind that we made the right choice. A bit stupid staff, I was there with my girlfriend and I knew she had stayed there before but staff says to her in front of me “oh, you have already stayed here”. We just laughed at stupid staff but the situation could have been a different one. I came by car and arrived late, so that's why I chose this hotel - 24h reception. It was a 10 min ride to the Inhotim. The staff was kind and breakfast was good. Room had air conditioner, and hotel had parking space. Downside was that we were close to the elevator, so it was really noisy, and the hotel is not a walking distance from restaurants and other places, which...

We had to pay around 50 reais for the parking, really expensive and if I knew I would book a hotel with parking. I had a issue at checkout as it took about 1 hour for them to confirm I had paid in advance through agoda, I almost paid twice...
