Traveling to Brazil? Find Parana Federal State hotels

I really can't say enough great things about this hotel. If you have a chance to stay here, do it! The only downfall was that we only booked one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The price per night of this hotel is high, but worth every penny. It is charming and offers all the services of a five-star hotel and spa without ever being pretentious. The food is exquisite....it is a true dining experience. The spa is wonderful and offers a wide range of services...you feel very well taken care of and the atmosphere is relaxing and calm. The pool is lovely and has tables set nearby for dining. The rooms are on the smaller side, but are nice and cozy with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is covered with beautiful blue tiles and has great bath products to use. We were upgraded to a room with a partial view because of availability, but most rooms with a view still have the falls partially hidden by trees. Internet is fast and included. Breakfast buffet has a wide array of options. The hotel is close to the airport. At most a 10 minute cab ride to the front park entrance and from there a shuttle from the hotel takes you the rest of the way. The location of the hotel is superb with a beautiful panorama of the falls just off the front entrance of the hotel. First thing in the morning, at sunrise, it is quiet, serene, and simply impressive. Check out the view first thing in the morning before tour buses arrive and at sunset after the tour buses leave. You will most likely be the only one out there to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the falls. I would stay here again in a heartbeat...for the charming hotel architecture and decor, the genuinely kind and hospitable service, the privacy to view the falls with few others around, the lovely spa, beautiful pool area, and the amazing food and drinks experienced at every meal. This hotel has it all....it is in a league of its own.

Located in a street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is exchange house nearby as well. 1. Room - simple but good enough for a solo traveller. Hot water in the shower take some time to warm up thou. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided, so please take note 2. Breakfast - on the 2nd floor, almost same menu everyday. I don’t fuss over food, so it’s good enough for me. Almost similar to the rest of the Brazilian hotels offering for breakfast 3. Tour agency at lobby - Very good. Booked all my tours there. Only have to pray for good weather 4. Surrounding - At least 3 bars on the same street. 2 drugstores (more like pharmacy), and exchange house as well. The street has a few hotels too. A laundry shop nearby, which is near the petrol station. 5. Risks - Similar to other brazil hotels, there are touting. But generally they are nice, just want to sell you raincoats, waterproof bag for your phone etc. They are homeless people waking around as well, hoping you will give them money or something. This is the same for almost all the hotels in Brazil i stay in 6. Others - Stock up on your own mineral water. It’s the same for all hotels, any items you took from mini bar are chargeable. The laundry shop is pretty good and cheap. So do consider to do al your laundry there, before continuing your holiday to other parts of Brazil

I stayed two nights here, and I enjoyed my stay. The wifi worked fine, there was hot water in the shower, and the beds were comfortable. Although windows in the bathroom were left slightly open by cleaning staff to allow ventilation, there were no apparent problems with insects (no mosquitos!) during my stay in August. The restaurant had good offerings at reasonable-for-hotel prices (the town and its restaurants are not walkable from the hotel). The Brazil side of the falls are a long, but walkable, distance from the hotel, and the hotel offers convenient, though a bit pricey, small bus tours directly to the Argentina side. I am a DIY traveler, but I am happy to have taken the hotel tour because it streamlined the border process greatly. My only problem was that I had to specifically contact the hotel to get contact info and confirm my (late at 10pm) airport shuttle pickup, but once I did that, they were there waiting for me and took me back to the airport after check-out. 5/5 stars, would stay here again!

the hotel is clean, comfortable and has everything you'd expect from a 4 star. the location is great, very safe with plenty of restaurants, bars and malls only a short walk away. they offer shampoo, clean bedrooms, wi-fi acess, high definition television with plenty of channels to choose from (no matter where you're from or what language you speak), microwave, hairdryer and fridge. the only thing would be that breakfast is not included, and it isn't cheap either. for the price you pay you'd expect breakfast to be a little better.

Hotel is close to airport and close to Brazilian side of the Iguacu falls. Breakfast was excelent, room was clean, Wifi worked ok, there was a pool, agency where you can book a trip, a bar and a restaurant for dinner. It is hard to find someone who speak english (except at the reception). The problem is that you need a taxi to get anywhere (to the shops, other restaurants, city centre,...).

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. The receptionists were very helpful. Great info about surrounding area and parks and public (bus) transportation. Good details on laundry, post offices, banks. The hotel is on Avenida Brasil (nice street for walking and window shopping and stopping for a beer and/or snack). It's a stone's throw from restaurants, pharmacies, bars, cafes, laundry, and bus station (for transport to Falls, Aves Park or Dam; Less than one USD one-way. so easy a third grader could do it alone). From the hotel, it's an easy 15 minute downhill walk to a big, air-conditioned, upscale shopping mall. Victoria's perfect English and information were a plus. Promote that young lady to manager!!!!

Good hotel located in a beautiful garden, swimming pool and a private jungle trail! The entrance to the Iguazu Falls (Brazilian side) is in 10 minutes walking distance. A private Bird Park is next door and highly recommended to visit. The hotel is nice, well kept, clean. The staff is friendly, helpful; English is widely spoken. The Tour office is knowledgable and helpful to explain and arrange tours. The rooms are a bit small. The only complain is the Internet connection, especially in the rooms). The breakfast offers a rich buffet. The dinner was not exciting and/or cheap.

I stayed 2 nights at the Hotel with my sister, and it was brilliant, mainly because of it's location. It is only 1.6kms away from the airport and 500m from the National Park which houses the Iguacu falls! The breakfast was great (never seen a greater spread of cakes!), and the receptionist extremely helpful. We had an early morning flight, and they arranged fruits, juice and cakes for us to have before we fly off! Really loved the hospitality.

This is a 4 months old hotel which I stayed for almost 3 weeks. I used to stayed at this sister hotel next door ( Bourbon Dom Ricardo) Due to year end holidays, the hotel is practically packed with guests and their wifi always down and unable to login. I hope the hotel should upgrade their wifi system to ensure all guests could login to wifi... I had to miss several concall meetings because of wifi issue

An excellent hotel and I would book/ recommend Del Rey without question. From the fast and friendly checkin to check out everything was very smooth. The hotel is very functional, everything is clean, and I had 2 very solid night’s sleep. Where they went beyond the normal chain hotel (and many 5 star hotels) was with their pro activity eg suggesting on check out they could store luggage before we even asked and then offering for us to use the pool and shower upstairs to change before the airport. All the staff were very friendly from reception to house keeping to the happy bar tender on the roof terrace. The only thing to improve for me would be breakfast - there’s slots of heavy carbs and cakes - would love a simple fruit basket eg apples, bananas

This is my favourite hostel I've ever stayed in. I was there quite a while, ten nights, and the staff really made me feel like part of the family. They helped me with the research I was doing in curitiba, invited me to things, and I joined in with the family dinner on Mondays. Location is good, very close to shopping curitiba, easy to get around. And pepe the dog is great!

Receptionists at the front desk with good attitude were helping a lot when I did the check-in with plenty of questions. The room is spacious, though no compliment drinking water and hot pot in the room. Since the hotel is besides the main road of the town, it may be some noises happening in the night, e.g., people driving by with loud talking. The breakfast of the hotel is very good, and the atmosphere is quite relaxing for guests. It took me 41 real to the airport by a taxi, which is better than I thought. People of the Iguacu I met with are quite nice. I shall like to revisit, if I have a chance.
