Pernambuco hotels & accommodations
We liked our stay at the Mar Hotel. The room was nice and clean. The daily breakfast offers a huge choice for all kinds of travellers. The staff was helpfull and supported us with excellent informations. The price/value ratio was also excellent for what we got.
Very clean and comfortable option close to the airport. A taxi to the airport is R$10 and there are always taxis outside.
We arrived in the middle of the night in this hotel. The staff at the reception (as well as the other staff in the hotel) didn't speak a word of English, which made check-in a one hour process. During our stay the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance which was a big disappointment since you can't swim in Recife because of the sharks and we purposely chose a hote...
I enjoyed my stay at the Cosmopolitan. For a budget hostel, it offered everything necessary as a base to visit Recife and Olinda. The staff was pleasant and helpful with maps and questions. The breakfast was a lovely spread with fresh squeezed tropical juices, homemade cakes, fruit, sandwiches and breads. The grounds are set in a small garden with pet rabbits, there is ...
We had a very good feeling arriving the hotel first outside, but also inside. Ther was a very smiling, singing cleaning person - very good. Very quick service in the restaurant. In the bar he ( young boy ) didn't pick up a new botle just give us a little bit more than it schould have been - a little thing but he have poosible got more sale if he "said just a moment I w...
My stay at the Atlante Plaza was very pleasant. I arrived late at night and was greeted by a courteous and kind staff. My check-in was processed quickly and I was escorted by the bell man to a room. When we arrived, I realized it was a smoking floor (they never asked my preference during check-in) but when I commented on the strong scent, the bell man was empowered to ...
This was my second stay at Blue Tree. I travel to Recife regularly and this is my preferred hotel in that city. It continues to be good value for the money. Conveniently located to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Located in Piedade near the Guarrarapes Mall. Just a short taxi ride to Boa Viagem area. Friendly and helpful staff
Comfortable room and friendly staff. Nice breakfast
Nothing to fault at all. Great staff, beautiful mansion house, regional breakfast with some home cooked items, lovely pool. Our room had some period features, a roof terrace with views over the old town and a hammock. Olinda is very quiet indeed, especially Monday -Wednesday. Thursday to Saturday it's a bit busier with some music in the streets etc.
The wifi wasn't working when we first got there, but the man behind the counter kept trying to fix it and didn't give up. Yes!!! The location was good, but the breakfasts were just ok.
We were in honey moon when we stayed in the hotel. It s not so comfortable but the location was nice and the staff friendly eventhough not all of them could speak english. I can recommend it for such a budget
It was absolutely wonderful. The setting is amazing.
Location: not downtown which is good as the beaches are not very good there Food: we only had the breakfast which wasnt that bad, but it finishes at 10am, quite early for a hotel Drinks: the waiters never came to check on us, and the caipis are expensive. Rather get drinks from the beach Clean: this place was not clean. The toilets flush broke every day (!!!), there w...
overall is ok.
Very short but peaceful & restful.
I applied for a hotel stay. They offered me a room. block room with 8 beds. I resigned immediately. the same day. I stayed. at this hotel. not a single day. but he wanted to. charged half the cost pivanja. odajava was made immediately. They offered me a room. block room with 8 beds.
Since the plane was late, I arrived at the hotel around 2:00 am, but check in was okay. The hotel staff is nice and always smiling.
A relaxing location, in great town Olinda. Good breakfast and very close to the city! Good place to stay for 3 to 4 days!
The Transamerica Prestige -Beach Class International is truly a first class hotel and undoubtedly the best one in Recife! Its employees truly care for the guests.
stayed here very briefly for one night but we were impressed by the rooms and the set up. bed was comfortable and room clean. we had one at the back overlooking the gardens and pool area which is a real bonus if you want some relaxation time here. the staff were helpful but didn't speak any english. they got us a 4am transfer to airport for 60r$ which was very ...
Awful hostel. Terrible location, staff were disinterested and unhelpful, place was dirty especially the bathrooms, breakfast consisted of old bread covered with flies. Also the place was full of mosquitos which made it even more unpleasant. The worst hostel I have ever stayed in and I am well travelled.
Good breakfast, dinner was a little less. At the beach and at walking distance from great village Porto de Galinhas! We enjoyed it very much!
WIFI IS GREAT, CLOSE TO THE BEACH, NO HOT WATER FOR SHOWER, AC IS OK, NOBODY SPEAK ENGLISH....
Awful- had to make the best of it- on morning of check out found leak from window that soaked.
good place with good people, however, wifi is a problem...
I enjoyed my stay at this nice cute small property. The room was good enough, but a little too small. It was always clean, it looked recently renovated so it gave us a feeling of a new property. Nice tropical colors and right in front of my room, an area to hang a hammock that was provided to each room. Hammocks are a traditional Northeastern of Brazil way of taking a...
The hotel was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel.
We were informed just before going to island that we will go to another B&B called Pousada Solar Las Arondinhas in Los remedies area. Well located and staff very helpful though no English or a Spanish spoken. Just a pity the money we pay for hotel is not used to improve facilities ( electric plugs, toilet seats). About island astonishing they do not have more enviro...
We loved our stay, we were especially happy with the superior room that was spacious and included a terrace with hammocks that we used extensively. The staff was very friendly and helpful even though they did not speak much english. The pousada is located next to the central square, there are restaurants and a bar with live music opposite and a supermarket around the c...

Prime location for exploring the Historic parts of Olinda and I enjoyed the owners laid back friendly personality. I think this is an especially good choice for both solo and group travelers that enjoys freedom and flexibility during their stay. All the rooms are good but I suggest requesting his 2nd floor room if it is available - though I believe the price is a littl...

We had a good time at the hotel. Very nice staff and wifi worked. Possible to recycle the trash. Unfortunayely our neighbours occupied the chairs and table all the time. So it was difficult to eat breakfast or hang our clothes. There is a supermarket nearby.
Awful- had to make the best of it- on morning of check out found leak from window that soaked.

This is a good commercial hotel ideally located for the airport and a short walk from the beach and various shops. The rooms are cramped but very functional for a short term stay whilst in transit to another location. The hotel is great, and staff very friendly. They had a very annoying problem with internet, so that my team couldn't work properly or at all, which caiused serious problems. Other than that, it's clean and good value for money.
